Great customer service. Great kettle.

The first one I bought was was dead on arrival. More exactly, there was intermittent twitching on the deathbed for a short while before completely kicking the bucket. That was a big disappointment for something that looks so cool and seems to promise a lot. I contacted customer service, and the clouds immediately began to part. While it took a day or two of very polite and responsive back and forth via e-mail to make sure I wasn't an idiot using it incorrectly (I'm not, and I wasn't. But their concern is understandable.), the end result was a new replacement kettle on my doorstep in two days, and no request to return the first one. The did everything right in a tough situation, and it really was 5-star service. And the kettle is a delight, too. Postscript: I later took the non-working kettle completely apart. The quality of the build is excellent. I consider the failed unit a fluke. There's no reason to spend on the Cuisinart version unless you just like the name.

The packing was nice and strong

The packing was nice and strong. I like drinking hot tea and coffee a lot. This electric kettle can boil water in just a few minutes and keep water warm for more than half an hour. It meets my needs.

Great quality and service

The kettle worked well but the left handle is loose. So I returned it. The customer service team followed up with me and sent me a brand new one for free. The new kettle is perfect. I really appreciate the great service.

Great kettle

Bought this because I'm a tea drinker and read that tea is better with the right water temp. Empty it and leave the lid open to air out and dry when not in use. Have not had it long enough to know about durability but so far no rust are any problems. Bought about a month ago. The markings are 1 liter = 4 cups max, but its just a little over 4 cups. Can't help it I like exact measurements so I use a measuring cup and pour in 4 cups and not a liter. Use it everyday, great little kettle so far. ohhh yes forgot to add that the only thing is the beeping sound when its done needs to be louder, can't hear it if I'm not in the kitchen. So use the keep warm button just in case.

Super Quick!

First electric kettle and I can tell you, this thing is awesome! It holds a ton of water and boils in no time. The stainless steel is super nice. Handle is strong and sleek. Lid opens easily and very easy to operate. Simply just put water in it, put it on the base, plug it in and select the temperature you want and it takes no time to get to the temp you want! I boiled a full pot of water in about 5 minutes or so, wasn't timing it but it was super quick. Very impressed with this item, will be using it a lot for such things as tea, hot chocolate and maybe even hard boiled eggs. I would highly recommend this kettle, it is a great purchase!!!

Makes hot water fast and convinient!

I really was surprised how well I liked switching to this electric kettle over a stove top one that I had adored for over a decade. I can't say enough how great it is to be able to put the kettle on and step away without worrying I'll firget (because of auto shut off). Same for the water level indicator (and the capacity - less refills!) making it more convinient to use. I'm mostly a black tea gal, so I haven't had much chance to use the different temperature settings yet, but I have to say the time to boil is really fast. I've actually been eating way more rolled oats as oatmeal from scratch is easy and fast with this kettle. This kettle is my new winter morning best friend!

This item is not a brewer!!

It sure heats water quickly and I like to choose the temperature settings! Packaged well, nothing broken and it works perfectly as advertised. I will be using only to heat water for multiple cooking procedures as it is not a brewer. Intended only for water as stated in the item description. Very satisfied customer!

Excellent value

I've had this kettle for nearly 3 months and wanted to test it thoroughly before writing a review. I use it every single day, sometimes twice a day if I want to quickly boil water for cooking (boil and pour into a pot for pasta, not cook in the kettle...). This kettle is great! It's intuitive and very easy to use. When you boil it when it's full, it does not boil over, unlike the Breville kettle I had before. Cleaning is simple; just boil it with some vinegar and water, then rinse. If you get staining in it, use a magic eraser with a little bit of vinegar on it, and it'll clean right up. The kettle is lightweight when filled, so I think it'll be okay for people with grip issues, but be careful all the same if you do. I have not put loose leaves or anything in it, as they're kind of a pain in general to get out of kettles. A tea diffuser on a chain fits nicely inside the kettle and you should be able to close the lid with the chain over the side. All in all, it's way cheaper than the brand name temperature variable kettle, and functions even better.

I Looked at Them All!

An awesome product. My 3rd "electric teapot" and while the others were very good at warming water, I wanted something more this time and didn't want to spend more than $50. (It's heating water, not launching the shuttle!) I found everything I wanted in this product - multiple temperature control, very little plastic and all of it BPA and something that looks good on the counter. And, at less than $40, I made a great investment!
