Audio Digital to Analog converter
I have a new TV that has a Fiber output that I needed to share between two devices. I need a Fiber connection for the Sound Bar and an Analog connection for a Wireless headset. This did the trick, connected the Fiber from the TV output to a two way FIBER splitter. This provided a Fiber connection for the Sound Bar and and the 2nd fiber to this device to provide an analog connection for the head set. Both work great with good sound and no problems for several months of use

Easycel Audio Digital to Analog Converter works Great with Sennheiser wireless headset
First, I want to “Thank” everyone who took the time to answer my questions. I so appreciate your help and feedback. I placed my order on Thursday evening and the “Easycel Audio Digital to Analog Converter” was delivered today. It is exactly what I need to use with my Sennheiser RS120 Wireless Headset. We purchased a newer LG 4K tv set. As you know it has the “Digital Optical Out” and not the RCA R/L audio out ports for sound. I set the tv to “internal sound + optical” and “PCM”. It works perfectly. AND>> the “BEST PART”, it only took 3 minutes to get it working! I can now listen to the tv again without bothering anyone. Thank you Easycel! And “Thank you again fellow Amazonians for your help!”

Saved me lots of money!
My new Altice One cable box did not have standard RCA audio outputs for my old Panasonic Audio/Video player so I was unable to utilize it with the new cable box. The cable box has an HDMI output and a DAC output. With this inexpensive Easycell converter I was able to convert the DAC to RCA inputs and enjoy the surround sound audio system with out having to replace it. If you should encounter the same situation, you must change the audio output setting in the cable box setup menu.

Does what it is supposed to.
It does what it advertises. However, the directions are very small print. You may have to change the audio settings on your TV. Does not allow a Dolby or HD output. You must change to SPDIF on the TV or you will have nothing but noise. Works great for using older (not so old) model headphones or surround sound systems. Keep in mind that most new TV's only allow for one out put, so if you are using this for headphones, you might need to also split the RCA out puts, other wise only one person can hear.

Optical Digital converter
I wear headphone a lot to keep the tv volume turned down for the other people in the room. When I had Cable I hooked up at the cable box. This worked great till we cut the cable. Now we have tv over the air, no cable bill. My tv had no RCA outlet plugs. We bought a Vizio smartcast tv, after 2 months we were sick of it. Returned it and bought a LG smart tv. I called cous/service and asked how to connect the headphones. This unit hooked to the audio digital out, then hook up the RCA wires. Works great. Wonderful. I wished I had called LG c/s the first time would have saved a lot of trouble. Gave my first LG to my daughter. Never knew about the digital audio connection, this is used for surround sound systems. This type unit cost over $40 at Best Buy. Great, Wonderful.

PS4 ROCKSMITH USER'S LAG KILLER!
I took a chance buying this adapter to get rid of the (INFURIATING) lag on Rocksmith 2014 edition for the PS4, and it works wonderfully! Finally! The one small gripe I would say that I have is that the audio is softer when adapting to composite red and whites. But... that might be a cord issue and not an issue with this adaptor, so I'm not going to judge against the item for that... In any case, the sound is clean with no buzz or hum. I am just SO happy to be able to use Rocksmith 2014 on the PS4 the way it's meant to be! Now, in an effort to help you troubleshoot, I will tell you how I have everything connected, so you can hopefully get Rocksmith 2014 going with no lag. My PS4 is connected via HDMI to a 4k Sony tv. Rocksmith 2014 and all DLC is installed on a 4TB non-powered external HDD, not internal ps4 memory. PS4 audio in the settings menu is set to digital optical and linear PCM instead of HDMI so the sound is being collected from the right source. Optical cable is connected to the ps4, plugged into this adaptor we are reviewing here, and red and white composites are hooked up from the adaptor out, to the back of a pioneer surround receiver on its own exclusive unshared assigned channel thats not already being occupied by an HDMI cable. (I use "CD in"). I hope this has helped someone. Happy Jamming!

Keeps the older receivers in the game.
Got a new TV and my old receiver would no longer connect as it doesn't have a digital connection. This converter kept me running perfectly without the need to update to one of those really expensive tuners that have bluetooth and digital connections.

Plug-n-play for us!
After some issues using headphones with the Xbox One controllers, I ordered this. Needless to say, as usual, I figured out the volume setting for the headphones, but I think I'm going to keep this! As of right now, this is plugged into the Xbox (I didn't even realize the Xbox had a digital audio output)! Then, I plugged in a Bluetooth transmitter (3.5mm jack), so Xbox is loud and clear on bluetooth headphones! I may switch it back and forth with the TV (originally purchased for), since it has no headphone jack. And I didn't need to change any settings, I plugged it in and it worked! Constant on though, as this is not a USB power cord. Overall, great product.

The Easycel TOSlink Digital Audio to RCA Analog Audio Converter Works!
Review of - Easycel Audio Digital to Analog Converter DAC with 3.5mm Jack, Optical SPDIF Toslink Coaxial to Analog Stereo L/ R Converter Adapter with Optical Cable and Power Adapter for PS3 PS4 XBox DVD Roku --- YAY! This works. This product comes with everything needed to connect the TOSlink digital audio output on a new HDTV to the stereo audio inputs on your older analog, stereo Audio Receiver system. - This product includes the TOSlink cable you need to plug into your HDTV. This product also includes the AC to 5V DC power transformer needed as well. - Note, I chose this vendor - Easycel - over the other, otherwise, identical units being sold on amazon, because this one comes with the AC/DC transformer for power, and the needed TOSlink cable, which the sellers of some similar units on amazon don't seem to be including with their package. - The installation of this converter box takes just a couple minutes. First turn off your HDTV and your Audio Receiver. Then, plug the TOSlink cable (fiber optic) into the HDTV digital audio output. Then then plug the cable's other end into the TOSlink digital jack on the converter box. Next, plug the analog RCA stereo cable you were using previously to connect to your Audio Receiver's stereo analog input, into the RCA jacks on the other side of the converter box. Then plug the 5V DC power transformer into a 120V socket and the other end into the converter. Lastly, turn on your Audio Receiver and your HDTV. On the HDTV settings, select digital audio output, with PCM encoding. Voila, you now have stereo audio from the HDTV into and out of your analog stereo Audio Receiver. - Keep in mind that this converter box WILL NOT provide all the 5.1 or 7.1 digital audio channels from the HDTV as analog audio channels. This converters steps down and composites the audio to just two stereo analog audio channels. - For a little over ten bucks, this 2 inch by 2 inch little box, makes it possible to keep using an existing analog stereo Audio Receiver for sound from an HDTV. There are those of us who enjoy the creamy sound from our vintage (and now quite pricey) collector's item McIntosh Stereo Audio Receivers and Klipsch horn speakers (check out the draw dropping prices of those these days on amazon, which decades ago were affordable, but now require a millionaire's budget). - Ironically, the HDTV companies could have kept an analog stereo audio output pair on their HDTVs for a buck or two, but it seems that for some reason they are all needlessly skimping on the dollar or two that would cost them. Maybe they are in league with the Audio Receiver companies to force us to buy more gear. Thankfully, however, these inexpensive converter boxes save the day. - Although the converter box comes with a small instruction pamphlet, the unit is so obvious, and so easy to connect, that instructions are not required. - Enjoy!

I'm impressed.
I thought I would see if this even works before I sled the 55inch entertainment system out from the wall. So I sled the TV to the side, connected the cables and ran an extension cord to power the unit. I turned on the 4K picture and powered up a 18 year old JVC stereo and it worked like a champ. Beats spending hundreds for a new AV system. Update June/2019 The converter quit working after 6 months so I unplugged it for 30 seconds and plugged it back in. Works great.
