A Quality Drill Bit set that is durable and stays sharp.

I got these drill bits rather then another complete set in order to just replace the small bits in my current drill set that I seem to break To tested these bits by drilling the 1/16" bit into a screw head and then into hard white oak. It drilled into the screw head reasonably well and without smoke. Then I drilled into the white oak. The drill bit remained very sharp and again no smoke from the friction caused by a dulled bit. Conclusion: A Quality bit set that is durable and stays sharp.

Great Idea

A great marketing concept. No more cussing because you broke a bit, have to drive to a hardware store and pay a buck or more for small bits. Just take the broken bit out of the drill and back the tip out of your work. Much less aggravation and swearing! Can't comment on sturdiness or durability, as I haven't used any of them. Just give it time.

5 Stars because of price and lots of sizes.

I use small bits like toothpicks. I cringe when I get a set of bits because I know I will break all the small ones as soon as I use them. I got these and got to replace all the broken ones and have a ton to spare. This set gets pretty small so I have some small enough to use with my Dremel (where I will, no doubt, break them) and that is cool because I was not planning on having that functionality.

Good quality bits. Not junk. This is how you should buy small bits they're really not worth sharpening and you will go through them a lot because they break easy perfect way to buy them

Good to have spares

A good value and nice selection of small bits. So I like to have a bunch of extra bits in the shop. Smaller bits break more often than you think. Also the small bits are a pain to try to sharpen. So I like to have a bunch of extra bits in the shop.

economical and decent quality

I install a lot of metal roofing and siding. To insure that all the screw heads line up in a perfect straight line I lay the panels on top of each other and drill the screw holes thru 14 or 15 panels at a time. This uses a lot of small diameter drill bits. This set includes 30 or 40 drills that are usable for this purpose, the largest 3 or 4 sizes. The smaller sizes could probably be used for drilling one sheet at a time. I have many drill bit sets that are missing the smaller sizes. It seems they get used up or broken a lot faster than the larger sizes. This is an economical way to make those sets hole again. I like them. I just used an 1/8 inch bit from this set to drill a hole thru my windshield wiper linkage pivot bushing to install a retaining screw. It drilled it perfectly. It saved me about $250, the cost of a replacement motor/gearbox assembly. Money well spent. Hey just sell us the 1/8th in bulk......you will sell a lot of them

plenty of bits . . . that's for sure.

My dad had borrowed my drill bits and returned most of them. No problem, with the 60 piece set, I'll have plenty of bits to replace the depleted bits. Also as bits wear out they need to be replaced. Again, with over 60 pieces in this set, I'll have plenty of replacement pieces. They have stood up to drilling through mostly wood for me. I can not speak to hardened steel nor concrete. Overall glad I got these and far better price point than the local hardware store.

Great price for a necessary item

Small-size drill bits are the backbone of my shop. I use them frequently. Since they are slender, they do often break. This packet of bits keeps me supplied with the bits I most often use and at a very reasonable cost.

Good bargain for HSS bits

I do a lot of predrilling for screws and these are exactly what I needed. Smaller bits tend to get broken around the jobsite whether it is dropping, or binding ect. and it helps to have a few of them in my pocket for when I accidentally snap one off.
