These were perfect!
I was having lots of problems with loose threads on my large (1094 yards) spools of Gutermann Thread. The smaller spools have a place where the thread can be locked at the base. The large spools do not. These "Peels" wrapped around the large spools easily and now my thread caddy is neat. The "Peels" also work on my Robson-Anton, Exquisite, and Floriani Embroidery Threads. Buying 48 of them was a wise choice for me (and the price was more economical)...I have a LOT of thread. Seller (Oh Deb) got 5 stars, too!

Quick and easy, eliminates the thread tail problem!
I am absolutely in love with this product. It took a problem that has been around for years and quickly solved. Even though many thread spools have a notch to pull the thread through to lock it down, they are either broken, not in the correct location for your thread to be locked down, and over time you have a box of thread spools with ends hanging locking into other spools so now you have a big knotted mess. The Huggers are easy to work with and quickly resolve the problems I identified above and probably a few I haven’t. They are flexible, colorful, able to wrap on large spools or small spools of thread, and can be placed at your desired location eliminating the thread tail hanging out so no more knots! I would highly recommend that you buy the spool huggers eliminating the thread tail problem!!

..
They do hold the thread on the spool but they are much easier to put on more slender spools than the large spool. I have had a very good interaction with this seller and they have offered me a refund because I was not totally pleased with the product. MY PROBLEM WAS DUE TO MY OWN DEXTERITY ISSUES AND NOT THE FAULT OF THE PRODUCT. I would do business with this seller again. They asked me to keep the Huggers and give them to friends if I could not use them, thus spreading the word about their attitude toward both their product and their customers. I will do so happily.

Love these. I uswd to use child hair ties ...
Love these. I uswd to use child hair ties to keep my thread spools from unwrapping. These cute little things do the job with out having to wrap the hair ties a few times. Gave a few to my neighbor and she loves them as well.

Best thread protectors I've ever seen
These little guys are fantastic I really love the way they just hang on to the thread and wrap it right around to that the thread won't unravel you'll see my little bird's nest at the end that's what I had to throw away however I want you to know that I took a picture of the bag because there is a hole in it and I am missing 10 of them so if you could send me 10 more I would deeply appreciate it thank you

Very handy.
Keeps your thread tails under control. Colors are bright enough to stand out well, making it easy to pick out your in use spools.

Thread sealer
This is the perfect idea to keep all those loose ends of spools from spilling together.

Must have
Love, Love, Love these. My thread is so much neater now. If you have thread that doesn't have a place to hold it these are your answer. I have used on small, medium and big thread spools. This should be a must have in your embroidery world.

Stop run-away tails!
I have tried several thread covers to stop run-away-tails. This heavy duty - flexible cover works really well. It also fits a large or small spool of thread. There are enough covers in the package to cover most of my thread.
