Awesome for 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL

Okay, this review may sound contradictory to my 5 stars, but I think it still deserves them despite 1 small issue. I will state the issue first, which was I did not receive all of my lock washers. I only received enough for 1 side. Okay, now that the issue is out of the way, just let me say these are awesome! 1). The packaging was excellent and the parts were very well protected. 2). The product is heavy duty and well built. 3). Installation is very simple and the holes lined up perfectly. It does take about 1 1/2 hours to install, even if you’re not good with tools, which is not bad at all for what you’re getting. 4). They made my 2018 Jeep JL look so muck better! 5). The cost is well worth what you’re getting. And finally-6). It cams with easy to understand directions, which isn’t really that necessary because when looking at the design of the product it’s self explanatory.

Great Product & Easy To Install

These running boards look great. Excellent quality. The install is very easy for one person using the tire jack to lift and hold in place.

Sturdy, Looks Great, Easy Installation

Purchased these for my 2019 JLUR. Remove the existing rock sliders (6 nuts &3 bolts per side) and install these units. Installation is a breeze if you have a pair of hands to help hold them up

I installed them on by myself but a second set of hands is recommend.

I highly recommend these step bars. They fit my 2018 Wrangler Sport JL perfectly.

I bought these for my 2018 JL ... I personally wanted them for the stars on them but my husband was very impressed with the actual product once we got them!!! They are very easy to install the only issue we had was the bolt size on the paper is incorrect but that was an easy fix ( it’s actually 10mm and 13mm ) I just matched up sizes with the bolts from his tools! ALSO I installed them myself ( with the help of a jack and a creeper ... you will need help if you do t have these items 🤷🏼♀️)... so that is always a plus ... didn’t have to depend on my husband to do it ... lol!!!

This product is amazing! The steps look so good on my 2019 Wrangler JL!! I, a 5'0 women, put them on by myself. There's nothing to it if you have jacks to hold it up as you go. Tyger is awesome too...the end cap of one of the steps came to me damaged and they sent me 4 new ones, free of charge!!!!

Best side step and rock slider combo out there and at a GREAT price!

I have a 2019 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited (4 door) which came with the factory rock sliders attached to the lower body. The factory rock sliders are very narrow and cannot be used to step on. I search through many brands and manufacturers out there on Jeep after market sites and ebay, but none came close to these units. First of all everything is made of high quality material as you see in the photos and the packaging was excellent. Everything was well protected and came to our house without any issues. All the nuts and bolts are high quality and in exact numbers. The most noticeable is the heavy textured powder coating that have the stars stamped on each step. These are so nicely made that will probably last longer than the Jeep! The one noticeable difference with these versus other more expensive brands is that looking at the weld lines and the end caps of the tubes you notice how clean everything is cut and welded. No sloppy welds. Every weld line is even and smooth. The ends seem like one piece with the rest of the tube (no ugly plastic or sloppy piece of metal). The instructions are clear and have very good photos. The installation is very easy even with one person. I removed the factory rock sliders in less than 15 minutes. First I opened the bag of nuts and bolts and place each washer and nut together as you see in the photos. I placed a box on the floor near the center and place the new Tyger side steps on the box. I grabbed the aft side of the slider and installed the smaller 6mm screw holding the back. Next, I grabbed the front end of slider and installed the larger 8mm bolt into the body. The rest was easy and just repeat of nuts and bolts (3 large ones and 6 small ones on each side). The installation takes about 40 minutes with one person. I used manual ratchet and socket wrench (no power tools). I don't normally take the time to write review unless it's something that deserves the rating and I like others to know what's best. I would highly recommend these without a doubt and wish they had them for my 4Runner too. Don't waste your time and money on the other cheap brands that are even more expensive than these!
