"A fine addition to my collection"

Great fun and "a fine addition to my collection". Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

nice price to brick ratio and great mini figs if you dont already have r2d2 or anakin with a headset.

Great Small Set

Came just as described, a great first lego kit for my 5yo nephew. We put it together over 2 days and he's super excited to fly it around the house with Anakin and R2D2 in tow. The pieces that the cannons shoot off are easily lost, so I've hidden them from the younger kids, but the kit does come with a few extras if lost.

my son loves it

My 12 years old son is a Star Wars fanatic so we got this LEGO set for him and he loves it! It took him about an hour to put this together so it wasn't too easy for his age but it wasn't hard either. Once the assembly is completed, the Starfighter has few moving parts like retractable landing gear and firing stud shooters. There's also a place to store the lightsaber on the bottom of the Starfighter! He also loves the R2-D2 as well as the young Skywalker, the one and only Anakin! THE BOTTOM LINE: 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended for any Star Wars fan!

My older son had so much fun, my younger son needed one too!

My older son received one of these for a Christmas present. He and his brother had so much fun playing with it, that we had to get another for my younger son. They are 11 & 8. They both put it together completely on their own. They've had a good amount of experience with lego sets in the past. They've already had plenty of battles, destroying the set and putting it together again! Great fun!

This has stayed in it's designed form for a long time.. it made it from March till October before the inevitable Lego transformation started. It is now mostly the same but... that means this is a fantastic set. Not over complex to build, solid (as legos can be), fun and add Star Wars and it is a great toy. My son loves it so. Two thumbs up. I recommend this item as it was and is a hit with my son

Ya gotta love Legos!

What's better than tiny, intricate pieces and parts to bring out the budding engineer in your child. Modern Legos are way more advanced than ones we grew up with. Today's Legos are geared toward various themes, but I noticed my kids mix and match to add infinite options of exploration. While we have tons of Legos around our house, my son never ceases to add more to his collection.

I got these as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old nephew. He is a Star Wars fan as well as a Legos nut, so I think I’ve done okay. There was a huge selection of Legos Star Wars kits to choose from. This one looked about the right size for him.

One of the better priced lego star wars kits

Scale in photos is misleading, this is scale of this ship is pretty close to the scale of most of their more expensive building kits, it's actually bigger than some of the similarly priced star wars ships. This and the new A-Wing (both between 15 and 30 dollars depending on sales) are great deals and absolutely worth the buy if your kids are fans of lego and star wars.
