Quiet and efficient

I needed a Cool Mist Humidifier because my son was getting bloody noses and our pediatrician recommended that we purchase one soon. None of the local stores (including Walmart) had much of a selection to choose from. I did a search here on Amazon and this one came across my search results. The reviews were positive so I gave it a go... We are very happy with is brand and this particular model. It is VERY quiet and the blue light adds a nice touch and a soft ambient glow. The 4.5L or 1.18 gallons will last for 3 days in our experience on the lowest of three settings. On the second highest setting it will last is 2 days and on it's highest setting we get about a day. The cool mist is VERY visible and has done a fantastic job in helping my son's bloody nose. We have not used the AROMA BOX (my son said no way Dad lol) so I can't speak on that part of the humidifier. I use water right from my kitchen sink (manufacturer recommends distilled water) but I would need a truck load of bottled distilled water to keep up with our use. I have been keeping an eye on the unit for any build up from using tap water, but so far so good. Cleaning is extremely easy and if you have misplaced the instruction manual, their web site is very informative and has all the manuals to their current lineup. Overall I would highly recommend this particular model because it is very quiet and the cool mist even on it's lowest setting, still puts out a lot.

Extra features are worth it

I bought the model with extra settings on a whim, but I love them already. I mainly bought this humidifier because I wanted one with the essential oils tray but now I love having the auto mode keep the humidity at a certain level. It prevents the water slick I used to get running my old humidifier on high over night. And this thing is SILENT. Plus less unwieldy to refill. Definitely recommend.

Great purchase!!

What's not to like? It's stylish, small (although it can fit a lot of water), super quiet, the air stream is pretty thick (good) when on the high setting. I've had it on the high setting for the past 8 hours & only about 10% of the water is gone so far! The humidity helps cool down the room TREMENDOUSLY. So much that I didn't even need to use my air conditioner today & it was a hot day! I tried turning the air on but had to shut it off after just 5 or 10 minutes because the room was too chilly! This will help me save on my electric bill for sure. I can see my plants are already loving it & all for this super affordable price. This thing is awesome & will soon be buying another one for my bedroom. Suuuper happy with this!!

LOVE

Great humidifier I’ve been running for two days (throughout day only at high 1st day and medium on 2nd) now and haven’t had to refill. It is very quiet and looks great. I have a 2 month old and it really helps her breathing with our dry air in Arizona. My plants seem to be happy too. Glad I made this purchase

Returned it after a couple days

At first, this humidifier seemed to do the job. It was very easy to use and operate. Puts out a decent amount of steam into the air. After a couple of days, it started to make a noise though that was distracting to me. Easy to return though. I'm not sure if it was just my unit that was faulty or whether this is an ongoing issue with this particular humidifier? While it worked though I was very satisfied. ** update. After posting this review I was contacted by the manufacturer who was kind enough to send me a replacement unit at no charge. I am super impressed with the amazing customer service this company has! The new unit works perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. A+ Levoit

Long run time!

Had this unit for a week now and we go to sleep with it every night. Easy fill and clean tank. Powerful mist setting. I like the built in oil diffuser pad. Everything works as advertised. Biggest plus is it’s quite. I’m an extremely light sleeper but I’m able to fall asleep with this on all night. Great product.

Update: these guys customer service is awesome! They sent me a replacement unit and sure enough it's got a higher output than my first one. I think I got a lemon at first, and levoit reached out to me and made it right. Thank you! I'd definitely recommend. I've been cooped up in the house with a sick baby for a week. He's too young for any sort of medicine, so we've been running the humidifier non-stop so he can breathe easier. Although I like it's large capacity and that it is whisper quiet, this humidifier doesn't blast out vapor as well as my less expensive humidifier. The less expensive one is rated for ~200 sq feet, so how this claims to work in areas up to 500 sq feet is beyond me. It still works ok in a bedroom, but doesn't do much for the living room. So now, instead of being cooped up in the house, I'm cooped up in a small room because it's the only place my baby can breathe halfway decently. Not fun.

Disappointed

I must've gotten a dud or something because in the week that I've had it running on full mist it has never once managed to maintain the humidity in a room or even reach its target. It fluctuates at all hours of the day and never turns off. None of my rooms exceed the size limitations of this humidifier, and I even tried running it in the bedroom with the door closed for several nights to no avail. The unit started getting noticeably gunked up within the first tank of water and the ceramic plate almost looks kind of burned. The scent tray slash air intake port sticks out from the unit; the manual states it should click into place but it does not. I'll definitely be returning this for something that performs a little better. EDIT: The seller reached out to me and sent a replacement. They were very considerate. The new unit works as intended! I've only had it for about 2 days and it has already managed to reach the proper humidity in the room I placed it in. I suspect the scent tray had something to do with the last unit not functioning properly.

Easy to use, quick water vapor, QUIET

I was skeptical about seeing 5 stars with minimal reviews, but they were accurate. This is a great little humidifier. I normally don't write reviews, but wanted to make sure that anyone reading such a small amount of reviews knows that what is said is true. The only one I can't confirm is using tap water. I'm sure it would work, but we have only used distilled water (our preference). We added 1 gallon of water and it ran on high from 5:30 PM until 11:30 AM the next morning. Very easy to fill. The blue light is a nice feature. We also really like how you can turn off the lights if desired. We put it in the bedroom and turned the lights off. You wouldn't know that it was running. We would definitely recommend.

Nice unit, great support

The company is very nice, the unit is very quiet. I bought this now, planning on using it in the winter. I use a C-PAP and my nose is constantly splitting and bleeding during the late fall and winter months. The humidity in my home is around 10% all winter long. This I plan on using in my bedroom to bring the humidity level back up to 60 to 70% range during the winter months. The reviews I saw were all very good, compared to many other units from Walmart and other retailers. I was going to buy local, but when I saw that the reviews were terrible on the other units, I went to Amazon and looked for the best reviewed unit I could find. This was at the top, so I ordered it, and 2 days later, it was delivered. I hooked it up and tested it out. Worked very well. Now I am drying it and putting it back in the box till winter. And the warranty is 2 years, when you register it on their site, which is a nice bonus.
