what i needed to use my computer again

This works for my surface pro 4 when a windows update broke the keyboard port. The touch pad is a bit touchy...when I type sometimes the cursor moves to a crazy place and types where I don't want it to be, but if I keep my wrists up when typing, this doesn't happen. It folds up to protect the screen so it works as intended.

Not a bad replacement, you get what you pay for

It is not quite as good as the OE keyboard in some aspects, but so far I haven't had any major complaints. There are a few features I liked about the Microsoft keyboard that this one does not have. Your Surface won't automatically go to sleep when you fold the keyboard closed. You will also have to hit a key to get the keyboard to re-sync each time you let it sit for more than 3 minutes. Lastly, the track pad registers as a mouse wheel in the settings. If you're used to being a "southpaw" scroller like I am, you won't be able to change the 2-finger scrolling direction. I do like the battery life. I've only had to charge the keyboard once in about 15hrs of use. The charge cable has a magnetic connection that's a bit finicky, however. I really wish this keyboard used a hard connection in addition to the mag connection like the original keyboard. I suppose it nice that this keyboard can be used on other bluetooth devices.

Truly Impressed

Needed a keyboard for Surface that could work detached from the screen. Typing feel is excellent, and the bluetooth is more responsive than other bluetooth keyboards I've tried. Lastly, it's every bit as thin and light as the surface keyboard that must be attached. I'm happy!!

easy pairing, comfortable keyboard

This took no time at all to connect and setup, and from there, it was as easy as typing, just like a regular keyboard. This also works with iOS devices, FYI, so you can pair and use this keyboard for just about anything. Comfortable keyboard, easy setup. Nice!

Very well designed, easy connectible keyboard

I hooked it up to my Pro 4 and it fit snug to it. Used the instructions to hook it up via bluetooth, again no problem. The charger cable is a bit short but since the Pro 4 has a USB connection in the adapter, that was no problem. The touch pad works well and the keys are very responsive. The unit offers quite a few gestures, so it is very powerful. The top row on the keyboard has special functions like system etc. The volume control and the switch to numpad is also easy to use. All in all, I am very happy with it. One small caveat, I am not used to gestures, so sometimes the touchpad did things I did not want, but that just shows the sensitivity.

This is perfect for my older iPad Pro

I have a 2015 iPad Pro and I was kinda skeptakal that this was going to work but it ended up working better than I expected. I am able to stand my iPad pro on this and it connects easily using the bluetooth enabled feature in the settings on my iPad. It seems very durable and I am actually happy with how it feels to type on it and use it. It feels like a real computer keyboard. That is one of the reasons I haven't want to buy one of these things so far. But it does work however make sure you charge it when you get it to ensure that you can get the exact time that it promises youll get out of it.

WOULD BUY AGAIN!!

Used for tablets for an ambulance service. Have had no issues at all and they are extremely well built.

Simplifies my work

Suprised at the quality of this item! Very sturdy, looks like it will last a long time. I didn’t want to spend the outrageous amount for the Smart Keyboard or magic keyboard either. I got this keyboard home and it took less than 2 minutes to set up.
