Great product

Bought this instead of Dynamat because the price was cheaper. Installed Kilmat on the roof and floor of my desert truck to sound proof the cab. Worked great and formed well around ripples in the floor. Followed the install procedures as listed to ensure maximum adhesion. I did paint the Kilmat 3 weeks after it was in the truck. Would recommend the product. Enough sound deadener to do the entire roof and 90% the floor of my 2001 ranger extended cab.

Silence at last!

I installed our tankless water heater in a nice utility cabinet that unfortunately had open vents if you will on the doors. I would always hear it spark on when it was circulating the hot water and needed a solution to muffle the sound. I installed these sheets over the vents and boom, no more noise. Great product and worked perfectly for my application.

Eliminates rattle and resonance.

This product is used to eliminate rattle caused by high performing sound systems. It is very easy to handle and is very cost efficient. I used it to insulate my doors on my cars, and on my trunk latch to help deaden the bass rattle. It is very practical and worked great. A good idea if you're upgrading your sound system or want to lessen road noise.

I can now yell at people over the phone and nobody will look at me funny.

I can now crank up my music to max, and shut the doors. I am unable to hear any music except some very muffled bass thumps. I cannot even hear the midrange and tweeters at full blast. This is just with the interior door panel trim lined completely with this stuff. I have a BMW 335i so there is some built in insulation glued to the metal panels, but I could still easily hear before...now it's silent. Very strange. That means I can now yell at people over the phone and nobody in the parking lot will look at me funny.

Works better than I expected

This product is amazingly priced for what you get. I have an electric car and the lack of engine sound (especially on freeways) makes ever other sound increasingly more obvious. On top of that, the insulation in my car door hadn't stayed where it should so I had a bit of cold air coming in. Spent 45 minutes on each door (I've only done the back ones so far) and it's already made a world of difference. No more cold air coming through, and the backseat sounds quieter too. Maybe placebo, but I feel like the added insulation in the door helps the speakers sound better too. I think I have enough to do my front doors as well, but if not, I'll gladly buy another pack to finish the job. Well worth it!

Works great

I installed this on my 91 BMW E30's truck since I am missing the trunk liners and trunk mats, and the drone from exhaust was killing me on freeway speed. I installed these with a roller (sold separately) and a heat gun (bought elsewhere) and man... it was night and day difference. Gone are the drones that give me headaches after hours of driving. The exhaust echo in the trunk are reduced to almost nothing, and the joy of driving returns. Some people complain about the weight of these stuff, but to be honest if you don't have your OEM sound deadening devices it evens out. Just be cautious when you apply, because it will be a major PITA when you remove them later.

Great quality, easy to work with

Very easy to install. It dosent have to match up perfect everywhere it’s very forgiving and easy to work with. Haven’t tested out the sound dampening yet. I am restoring a 2001 Silverado and doing complete Kilmat interior.
