I was very surprised at how powerful this vacuum was! I have another mini vac for my house about twice the size and this one has a lot more suction. Also, the attachments are really nice! I usually don't use the brush attachments on vacuums because they don't seem to work very well, but this one worked great for pet hair on my truck carpet. The long attachment is really useful for fitting down in between the seats, and under the seats and any other tight fit. The power cord is extremely long, and can reach anywhere in your car for sure. All of it comes in a nice bag that can be stashed somewhere in a car pretty easy and not take up hardly any room. Overall I would say for the price, this is a good buy.

Just got my little HOTOR vacuum today Gen 5 with an extra filter. Overall I am satisfied for the price. Suction is not what I was expecting (relative to a full size shop vacuum or Kirby, but it is much better than a dust buster!!. It is powerful enough to vacuum the carpets clean, just takes some time as it is small tube. But it is very light, and surprisingly QUIET. I had a dust buster that was so horrifically loud you had to wear ear plugs to use it. This thing is like mouse compared to that. The LED light is clutch, can vacuum my car in dark area and the light easily lights the carpet so you can see all the dust. The storage bag is really nice, easily fits everything and an extra filter. Seems well built enough, and for the price, I can't complain. Easy to disassemble. But do make sure to turn the car on when using, the suction goes up significantly.

This is the best car vac I have ever used. The new model vacuum is much improved--it really sucks the grass, dirt and paper scraps up right now. I really appreciate the new LED light- it lets you see in all the corners so you know you've vacuumed the junk up. Where we live it is dry and dusty so the floor mats and rear hatch carpet get tracked in and picked up sand and fine dirt that is hard to get clean. The new vacuum and light do a great job. It's nice that they include a duplicate filter because the filter gets loaded up pretty quickly. Washing the filter cleans it up easily. Hotor recommends that you should start the car engine before vacuuming to get the highest voltage for the motor and that makes a difference but it still works pretty well without running the engine.

I recently purchased this and today i tried it. For the price its worth it. I used to go to car wash and use the vacuum it was high power but the problem is i cant go to those tight places. for my sedan atleast i need to spend $2 per 6mins which is you cant finish in 6mins atleast u need to spend $6 to clean your car fully. This vacuum for the price of $30 is not bad. U will used it as long as you want plus it has lifetime warranty that was it says. This vacuum has tools that can make it everything easy. The cord is long u can use it to your van. My words are not enough to describe this product. U guys should try it.

I have 4 cars; 3 hotors, working on 4th...they are gifts...the first two were x-mas gifts this last one was a gift to myself for Father’s Day and they upgraded it to gen 5! PLEASE USE W CAR RUNNING OR IT WILL NOT PERFORM LIKE YOU WANT IT TO! The cool thing is two filters, I can see this coming in handy when and if I have to clean up wet stuff! Dry stuff? It is awesome, more power w this one! This model will probably (will) make its way to my wife’s car...she needs it more:)....Hotors bag has enough room when you take the time to put it back; you just can’t throw it it in there...I drive a truck so space is premium! I also have the converter so I am looking forward to being able to use this inside my hobby room (so I don’t have to borrow my wife’s)! I have a crew cab, it reached everything...I used the brush to loosen up the hard stuff and surprisingly it even got some leftover mud from a couple of months ago! Get the hotor; it’ll save you time and frustration!

This is the second Hotor corded vac I purchased. This 5th generation model is supposed to have better suction and I found that to be true. Though I was very happy with the first vac, I wanted a second one to keep in my RV for quick cleanups. The fact that it can do both dry and wet pickup is a plus. I keep my first vacuum in my car, so it's nice to have one where it will best be used.

For a car vacuum and 30 dollars this is well worth it, it will clean out your car without issues. Havent tried wet spills, but dirt and rocks from shoes, food crumbs etc, it will sip up with no problems at all. I took before and after phots and the photos are about a minute apart.

I've tried a few car vacs in the $30 to $60 price range. All of them worthless. This one that uses the 12V in the car really works. It's small so much easier to handle for this old lady! Plus it's easier to get around things in a car. And I had thought it said the car had to be running but not mine. Ford Escape 2016. So that was a nice surprise. Maybe it works better if plugged in....will have to test that. Nice touch including a bag.....what girl doesn't love a bag ;o) I see there is an adapter so I can use it in the house too. How neat is that. Thank you for such a great item at a very reasonble price. You might want to grab it now before the price goes up.

I like the long cord. I use it in my semi truck, and the light is handy for the areas not so well lit. For a 12volt appliance, it has a good amount of suction to pick everything up and get rid of the dust on things. If fuzz is stuck on the floor mats, the brush accessory, on the end of what you are using, frees it up, and it sucks it up. I have not tried it on any liquids yet, but it seems to have enough power for that. I would probably use paper toweling first for areas I could reach. Once you become familiar with it, and how it comes apart, It was easy to clean, and put back together. I thought the amount of noise it produces was pretty normal, not real loud, and it does not sound like it is working too hard. I like it and would recommend it.
