for a 40 pound 2 year old boy
skeptical at first due to the lack of reviews but I went to buy it anyways because the description said that it can hold up to 60 pounds and I just can't find that claim other products. Installed in about 40 minutes. the instructions were poor but you will easily figure it out. the connector of this seat to the bike is attached to the frame of the bike unlike other products where they are attached to the seat posts or the steering. I probably had 3 couples asked me where I bought it on the first day we tried it in the park. the only negative of this kind of child seat is that you cant really pedal fast, which I don't think you should anyways, because you will have to spread your legs while pedaling. but then, you can easily disengage it if you want to ride alone.
