I could see myself wearing this beyond Halloween.

I bought this for a Hermione Granger costume in a 20.5 plus. I normally wear a women's 16 and I'm 5'8". The top part was a bit short on my torso, but I'm not worried about it. I had the same issue when I was 5'8" in 7th grade, too, so I expected it ^.^ The hem comes right to the middle of my kneecap, which is awesome. I was worried about it being too short. The waist fits exactly as it should. The material is really nice despite being 100% polyester. I actually really like the way the skirt lays, and I could see myself wearing this beyond Hallowwen. Without the top part, it would be a very tasteful and flattering work outfit. So for all the adult women asking if this will fit you: measure yourself and compare those numbers to the size chart and garment measurement chart on French Toast's website. You should be golden. That said, I'd go with a regular skirt instead of a jumper if you're more than 5'4" or so...

Very comfortable

These are the perfect uniform jumpers for little ones. The material is not stiff like some of the other brands I've found. I was worried about the dress being too baggy and long on my daughter. However, ordered my daughter's normal size and it fit just right. I love how easy they are to clean too! My daughter can be quite messy when eating her lunch at school, so far NOTHING has left a stain after washing this jumper with normal rountine laundry. I would definitely recommend!

Adorable

This was perfect for my 7 year old daughter to go as Matilda for Halloween. She is very petite and the size 6 fit her perfectly. I may order this in navy for her to wear with her school uniforms.

Great for school uniforms

Our daughter had a growth spurt between grades 3 and 4, and we had to buy new jumpers. Many jumpers have a drop-waist, which does not work well with curvy girls like my daughter. These jumpers have the waist in the right spot, and the button and zipper withstand regular use without falling off or breaking.

Great quality

It is good quality but you do have to iron every time before you wear it or the folds are weird. I hate ironing so that’s somewhat of a burden. My daughter is a 6x in most things which is the size I got but it is a little big but I feel she will grow into it quickly. Great price and it’s hard to find elsewhere.

Nice!

I ordered size 5 for a girl who just turned 5. In my opinion it fits "somewhat large", however my girl is slim, so... I think I would be happier if I ordered size smaller. She will be able to wear it for another two years I think. The jumper is 100% polyester so you don't need spend time ironing the pleats, it comes out of the dryer perfectly fine, just hang it.

Waist a bit too tight

I bought this to use for a Star Wars Rey costume for my daughter, who is just barely 5 years old and wears a 6/6x. It is constructed well, but the waist is a bit tight. The waist zips up and has a button on the side, and when my daughter wears this she has to wear the waist band pushed up way above her hips because it is too tight to fit on her natural waist otherwise. This in turn causes the front two bands on the chest to not lay flat, because there is slack. My daughter is a very solid girl with a broader torso and hips, and a long waist. If your child is similar, consider sizing up or doing a bit of adjustment to the waist. All in all since this is for a costume I can't complain too much!

Good purchase!

This jumper fit just as I expected and the quality exceeded my expectations. Even after a few washes the jumper has not lost its color and the pleats can easily be redefined in the skirt with a warm iron or by taking it fresh out of the dryer. I definitely would purchase this item again!

Worked great

I couldn’t find a Hermione costume set that is small enough to fit my two year old so I had to buy all the pieces separately. This pinafore worked great in lieu of a regular pleated skirt as it added a bit more to the look since we were omitting the v-neck sweater. (Imagine how WARM it would have been to wear the v neck sweater, the white collared shirt, a tie AND the robe while trick or treating in the current mild California weather.) The knife pleats held up quite well and is still sharp and didn’t flatten out. I found the material a bit scratchy but the price reflected that it wasn’t the most premium of materials and hard to wrinkle. Once she was done wearing it, I changed her into normal clothes while in the car as I wanted her comfortable in her car seat for the car ride home so the costume ended up being stuffed into a backpack. Hours later, I took it out of her bag expecting it to be completely wrinkled, I was surprised it came out in ready-to-wear again condition. It is true to size. My 2 year old usually wears a 3t and this fit like the standard 2t as it was a a snug on her. The bodice was a bit short so the waist area sat a bit higher on her but decided to deal with it since it was only for Halloween and was not a free return item.

So much cuter in person!

The pictures do not do this jumper justice. I ordered a size 4 for my soon to be Kindergartener (33 lbs) and it fit perfectly. Not cheaply made, nice thick material and I can tell the pleats will still lay nicely after multiple washes. So sharp looking and adorable at the same time. I love French Toast items.
