Easy to install & room does seem cooler.
My home office is in addition off the master bedroom with has a lot of windows on two walls. It gets quite warm in there in the summer. This film did seem to help reflect some of the heat from the sun. The room is cooler now. It was easy to install and looks nice from the outside too.

Window blocking
Living in Florida with lots of glass doors and windows can be hard on the air conditioner. Bought this to try and see if it would make a difference. I was so impressed that I ordered more for the doors and windows. Noticed a difference in the heat coming through the door and I love the reflective part where it is more challenging for someone to see straight into the house. We have one of the sidelight windows in the front and it is hard to find a curtain to cover it so you can not look right into the house. Will be buying more for the bedrooms now. My air conditioner is not working so hard. Well worth it.

Keeps the sun out
before you cut, spray the window with some windex or some water and apply it, thheeennn use an exacto knife to cut it. So much easier! Does what it says, keeps the sun from heating up my sons upstairs bedroom and helps black the room out. Would buy again!

great product
The temperature in the room that I installed it in is now at least 10 degrees cooler than it was. And that was what I was looking for here in Florida.

Night and day differnece to temp on front door, from hot sizzling to barely warm :)
Was skeptical I must admit, I have used different products that promise to help with hot surfaces by reflecting the light, this product held up to the promise. I have a steel door that has a glass storm door in front of it, that got so hot in our summers here in the south that it would burn you on a hot summer day when you touched the door knob alone. I installed this HIDBEA film on it in the morning and when the hot 98 degree sun hit it in the afternoon the inner steel door was only slightly warm. WOW !!! I can keep my door open during the day and not worry that the UPS guy can see inside if he leaves a package at the door, but I can see him... Note: if you do have a light on inside of the house and it is a overcast day you will see through the film but that's ok cause I bought it for the heat reduction promise. So if your door cooks in the sun like mine has, hot enough that it made the steel door insides expand from the heat, this is the film for you to cool down that to a fraction of what is was. It is super hard even with the water application to get rid of all the tiny bubbles under the film as that was the longest part of installing it. I went and kept looking at the door from the outside to see where all the tiny bubbles were as they were hard to see from the inside where the film is applies. Would I buy this again, and recommend it to anyone YOU BET I WOULD. Great product

This was WAY easier than I planned on
Phenomenal, exactly what I wanted. Thought I would need my husband to install this but the hardest part was measuring! I used a squeegee to clean the windows, and Gila window film applicator instead of "soapy water" and it was cake. From the inside it just looks like the window has a little tint and from the outside you see basically a dark fuzzy mirror, if it's dark out then you can sort of see inside a tiny bit if lights are on inside. Very satisfied!

Total privacy during the day
I love this window film. On the outside, it looks like you are standing in front of a mirror, inside, it darkens the room. Installing is a piece of cake, I just sprayed some scrubbing bubbles on the window, then I put the film on. With a damp rag, I pushed all the bubbles towards the sides and corners. Perfect!

10/10!
I love that these keep out the heat and prevent others from seeing in during the day. A small perk I realized after I applied this tint is that I can now watch the birds on my balcony without scaring them off! The tint is very easy to apply, just use lots of soapy water in a spray bottle. I used a mix of Dawn and baby soap. Don’t apply during the hottest part of the day or your soapy water will evaporate too quickly. If you mess up, just peel away and reapply (you can do this days after the first application, which is great!). My home is much cooler now—we will see how this impacts the summer electric bill, but I’ve noticed that the window itself gets hotter, but the air and space near the window and the light coming in from the window is MUCH cooler.

Effective heat control & easy to install
My second floor master bedroom has an addition with nine floor to ceiling windows. I use this room as a home office but in the summer it feels like a mini greenhouse with all the windows and the sun blazing in. This film really helped to control the heat & it was pretty easy to install. My windows were not exactly the same width as the film. I've got some tips I figured out along the way: I gathered up some tools - a metal ruler, a razor knife, and a silicone shower squeegee thing. Once the film is cut roughly the right size (I left about a quarter inch extra), Use soapy water in a spray bottle and spray both the glass and the film. I used dish soap. Once its evenly misted lay on the film starting at a top corner. Line up the top edge and one of the side edges and then spray a bit of soapy water on the back. The soapy water helps the squeegee slide easier and I ended up pretty much zero bubbles after I figured this out. Once it smoothed out you can use the ruler and the razor knife to trim the other side edge and the bottom edge straight.
