My previous Conair curling iron of 15 years was in pristine condition, but the cord ripped, and sparked. I had not been able to find the exact one like I had, but this one is extremely close (mine had a hard plastic cover for travel and a "kickstand" for setting it on a surface that you could bend back out of the way while curling. Other than that, it is the perfect size and has worked perfectly (unlike a smaller one I purchased in a store first that has slits in the plastic at the end of the wand that allow the heat to reach my fingers and burn me every time, so glad this one has a solid safety handle on the end). Thank you so very much, you have no idea how much better this has made my daily routine!

This is a nice curling iron and does a great job on my thick coarse hair. It heats up quickly and has a turbo function which gets it a bit hotter if needed. I like the choice of 30 heating choices. The swivel cord keeps the cord from tangling. This also had a 60 minute auto shut off function. It has a protective cover if you need to put it away before it is totally cooled off. Great value.

OBSESSED with this curling wand! Does such a good job.

True story: I have bought and returned approximately 6 different 1.25" curling wands. I bought cheap ones, expensive ones, ceramic ones, metal ones. None of them were great and I returned them all. My hair is very long and fine and hard to curl. I bought this one on a whim, it was so cheap and the right size. I didnt want the clamp, since I have a hard time not getting crimp marks on my hair with the clamps and they make it hard to curl in the right direction sometimes (if that makes sense) but I was limited with options in the clipless wand department so I bought this one. First of all it gets very hot and seems to create a much better curl than the other models I tried. Some people mentioned that the temp dial is placed in a way that its hard not to move it while using the wand -which is true- but here is my genius hack: use a piece of medical tape to affix the temperature wheel where you want it and you're good. My even more genius hack is this: I used a screwdriver and removed the clip from the wand. I pulled the spring out that makes the clip open and close very easily and voila it is a wand with no clip to make crimps in my hair. Everything I wanted all along for under $17 plus medical tape and 1.5 minutes of manual labor. Yay!

So I know what you're thinking why bother buying this cheap curling iron I can tell you I have spent hundreds of dollars on expensive curling irons and flat irons and what I have came to understand is it really doesn't matter what brand you get the only thing that matters is how you protect your hair people always find it shocking when I tell them that you know what my curling iron cost $20 my flat iron maybe only cost me $60 the curling iron works amazing the only thing I cannot stand about this curling iron is the fact that the way that I position my hand my thumb is always on that turn e side that controls the heat range so there's this non stop clicking that happens because I end up sliding the Heat switch and that just irks my nerves but I have managed to really pay attention to where I place my hand and you know what my hair isn't burnt it's fine at the end of the day if you're going to get a cheap iron just make sure you have the right heat protectant and serums for your hair I literally laugh at women who sit up here and say that this burned their hair or this just fried their hair .... there's really no reason why that should be happening to anybody when you can go out and buy you a decent brand of heat protected and shield protectant for your hair it does not burn my hair my luxurious blonde wig is still smooth and silky as it was so don't feel like you need to invest in a super expensive curling iron because this definitely works it heats up super quick and that gets the job done perfectly fine

This little thing is amazing. In the first pic I curled kind of large pieces and in the second I ran my fingers through the curls. It heated up super quick and is made nicely. This curled my hair after I had already straightened it for the day. Really happy I bought this.

I just received this curling iron yesterday and used it this morning for the first time. I love it! My hair is naturally curly and thick so I need irons that get very hot to style with. This iron did not disappoint. I used the turbo heat setting at first but found it to be too hot! The size (1-1/4) of the barrel is perfect. I’ve used 1 inch (too tight curls) and 1-1/2 inch (too loose curls), but this gave me the look I was hoping for. And it was less expensive on Amazon than at Walmart!

I have short fine hair. I needed the smaller barrel and couldn't find one locally. I had bought a different Conair but it didn't work at all. This one is probably the best curling iron I have ever had. This iron heats quickly, your hair easily slides on the barrel, and the curls stay for longer period of time, plus it really does reduce frizz. You won't be disappointed

I ordered this dual voltage curling iron for a trip to London in a few weeks. I always try them out before traveling. I love the sleek design. There’s no metal stand and the cord rotates freely. It heats very quickly and is hot enough to curl my long thick hair quickly. I’m very impressed with it. Normally, it takes time for me to adjust to a new styling tool, but I curled my hair faster today. Don’t hesitate to order this. It’s a great product for a nominal price.

This iron heats up quick especially with the turbo button. I have fine hair but a lot of it and usually need to adjust the heat settings to the middle. The curling iron reached a perfect temperature and I was only at about 10, I can imagine that this would work on hard to curl hair if turned up to the max. I followed the settings suggestions on the back of the package. I did not need to hold the iron to my hair for very long, unlike with my old curling iron. My curls came out perfect and are holding so well.
