I use these bee tubes as quills to wind yarn singles onto for storage and weaving. They fit my Fiber Artist Supply bobbin winder perfectly. I highly recommend them as an alternative to more expensive bobbins and quills.

I am so excited about getting my Bee nest tubes so I can build my own Mason Bee nest to put in my yard. These tubes are sturdy and will stand up to the weather and wind in my area. Can't wait to see the bees using them.

I discovered that these bee tubes are of a heavier construction than tubes that I have purchased from other suppliers which leads me to expect a longer period of usefulness as I try to create a healthy environment for the Mason and Leaf Cutter bees that I hope will take up residence and pollinate my citrus trees. I will be ordering from this supplier again.

These are really heavy duty. I had to drill out the holes on the homemade nesting box I found at the children's garden in order for them to fit. This will be the first year trying the tubes.

Well built and much easier to use if you use them arranged in a 6 or 8 inch PVC pipe instead in a wooden block. This also makes it easier to to clean the cocoons.

These are great tubes for nesting mason bees. And I was surprised at how fast they got to me. Now is the time to start planning for next spring, so I think I will be ready now. Thanks for the great product and fast shipping.

Hi, this is the 2nd half of my "Mason Bee experiment" ! I bought a bamboo bee house at Costco last year in hopes native bees would use the reeds. I was thrilled when most of the reeds were filled, but was apprehensive if they would survive the winter in my garage. I put the house out this month, and wow, a few male bees started chewing their way out...I had ordered the tubes, and my husband made some PVC holders, which we put up close to the bee house. Now I'm ready when the females emerge, and am excited to increase pollinators for my and my neighbor's gardens this spring. I plan to clean out the bee house when its emptied, out, and use the tubes instead. I had heard of a mite that could possibly overwinter in wood or bamboo, so I'm hoping using your tubes will avoid that possibility. The tubes were so easy to work with, and liners slipped in easily. I believe about 19 tubes fit in a 2 inch diameter pvc pipe, and we made 3 "houses" Thank you for a great product!

I am building pollinator houses for Holidays gifts and needed the tubes for the Mason Bees. And they fit the Mason Bee sections of the houses perfectly.

Unfortunately, the bamboo house is a one season house since they can't be cleaned of Mason Bee killing mites. The bees didn't like the split wood tubes either, so I threw them out. Put the cardboard tubes in, bees love them!! Thanks, John

Bought these to fill a mason bee box. They are thick and I believe they will stand up to whatever weather comes my way. Would recommend these for those people who are trying to cultivate mason or any type of small bees. You can take them out after the new eggs hatch and replace them with these tubes so you have a new clean box to start the spring. Would recommend!!
