I use this to clean mountain bike parts. Its small portable size, circulating pumping brush, make this the ideal uint for my needs. Use a bio-degradeable solvent and it's all good.

Fit Bucket wish had a lot to hold Brush when not in use .

A little small for engine parts but I knew that going in. Wish it had an on/off switch seem a little dangerous to have to unplug it with wet hands to shut it off. I plugged it into a power strip so it was switched. I used straight Simple Green and it did a credible job of cleaning off 23 years of accumulated grease. The brush seems like it will last awhile also. generally very happy with the item.

As other reviewers have stated this needs a toggle on and off switch built into the wire so you can turn the pump on and off when needed. I didn't like that you have to unplug the unit with possible wet hands to control the pump. So I made my own extension cord with an in line switch so that I can turn the pump on and off without having to unplug it. The second improvement I made was I took a silver dollar for size and shape. Then I cut out circles from a window screen repair kit and put them into the other four open holes on the cover. this will catch any other scum and dirt from getting into the pump. Next I have four sink rubber drain plugs to use to plug the open holes for soaking small parts over night. The fifth hole is a different size so I will have to get a different size for that one. I removed the original brush that came with the unit and replaced it with a stiffer one for cleaning parts. I also removed the clamp they had on the hose and replaced it with a small fuel injector clamp that won't harm the hose. The Last improvement I will make I will put the PARTS WASHER onto the bucket dolly so that I can move it around real easy when I have to. When I get it all done I'll try and post some pictures on the finish product at a later date. By doing this it makes it a lot shorter in height so that I can use it under the car as well as under the wheels when doing brakes. I am not fortunate to have a lift so this will work just fine. I will be using heated water and simple green to clean my parts that works really well and that should not harm the pump. All in all with some minor improvements this will come in real handy in a lot of ways. This product is very well built and a very good buy at the price.

Nice little parts washer. Like other reviews, I don't have the space or real need for a large parts washer. I can use this with a bucket and tear it down and store when not in use. Attached some images of me cleaning a GL1000 head with it.
