Works VERY well!

It's small, light, and easy to use. It doesn't talk to me when the battery gets low or when it's pairing, just beeps, which is great! No lag when watching video, sounds great to my ears! Charges quickly and lasts a good while. I use a magnetic badge holder to attach it to my shirt, pants, etc. and it's super convenient.

Finally!! Awesome state of the art technology packaged with "archaic" old school click-wheel access. Touchscreen technology is useful in many different circumstances. Touch screen ANYTHING while driving a vehicle on a freeway at 75 miles per hour is an accident waiting to happen. This Gizmo syncs up instantly as soon as you turn the switch (yes switch) on. As you're driving and you want to make a switch, you click the volume up, you click to the next track....all while keeping your eyes on the road; instead of having to look down at a touchscreen and fiddle with a screen. LOVE this product!!!!

Good sound quality, convenient buttons, and good battery life.

I bought this Bluetooth receiver last week and I have been impressed. Many cheap receivers have a terrible noise floor that provides a constant hiss when it's turned on. This is especially true for tiny Bluetooth receivers like the ones that dangle off your ears. The BH203 has a really long battery life, good sound quality especially for Bluetooth, and it has convenient controls on the receiver. Most of the pictures show people putting them in their car on the Aux in Jack and I can tell you I didn't experience any engine whine when it was charging. My needs were for mowing the lawn and other housework so I added a name tag magnet to the back so that I can clip it to my shirt and control my podcasts while my phone is in my pocket. Best of all I can use whatever headphones I want because it comes with a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. The only cons are that the skip button has a small lag because it's waiting to see if you press the button more than once which means next track instead of skip ahead. This becomes noticeable when I'm trying to skip ahead a few minutes and I have to push it, pause, skip, push, pause, skip. Best of all it's CHEAP!

Impressive sound at its price point

Review was done using Yamaha hph-mt8 monitor headphones with Bluetooth signal provided by an iPhone 7, and wired connection with a Fiio K1 dac was used as a comparison. To me the Mpow isn’t as good in creating a wide sound stage and struggles a bit with higher frequencies in comparison to the Fiio K1, but the bass is pretty darn close. All in all it seems to lack the presence that the Fiio can provide. I also wouldn’t consider this a good unit for quiet time audio sessions, especially if you have a great audio setup with a dac/amp. But I do see some practicality with using these for a noisy commute like a train ride provided your headphones give good noise isolation. If you have a pair of good cans that give great isolation and don’t want to sink money into buying a pair of dedicated wireless headphones for the time being then the Mpow should be a decent stopgap. The price for what it is makes it a 5 star unit imho. Will update about battery life at a later date if I’m not so lazy.

Does exactly what it says. No problems, complaints or otherwise when using with my iPhone XS Max. I like it a lot better than a previous version I have because this one has a physical on/off switch instead of a button that you have to hold down. It would be nice if it had standard “fuel gauge” lights to indicate remaining battery life, but that is a very minor complaint.

Battery and Sound are Great

OK so just going to do a pro con list because that is the easy way and i am not fond of long winded reviews. Pros: Battery is great can play music and movies for about 3 to 4 hours before even needing a charge. Sound Quality is also pretty good there is a almost unnoticeable quality drop so if you are a severe audiophile don't get this. Actually works with my IPhone X's button mapping, which is surprising for a non-apple product. The range of the receiver is pretty good, can use it in my car for calls no problem. Con's: The microphone is badly placed and has a huge drop off since i have to almost talk at the device in my car and it is only about 15 inches away. Has some trouble when switching between apps, though I think that is the phone. If you somehow get a low battery it is incredibly loud about the beep, although that might just be me. Basically if you want to combine a good pair of headphones with Bluetooth capability then this is it, if you want to have a basic phone call in the car maybe get a different device all in all since I got this to turn a nice set of earbuds into a Bluetooth headset for my IPhone it is GREAT.

No regrets

Pretty sure this works better than our actual home sound bar Bluetooth. I got this for the place I volunteer (we use our own playlists for the overhead music) but ended up accidently ordering 2. Soooo... Now my old car has Bluetooth! Loving it. Haven't tried using it with a conversation, just love the ease and area of coverage.

So I have previously purchased TaoTronics Bluetooth Receivers for my car (2008 Ford Escape, only has Bluetooth connection capabilities via Aux input) due to the large quantity of positive reviews, especially for the cost. They did okay, but I routinely had difficulty with: 1. turning the device on. Would have to push the on/off-play/pause button multiple times, hold it down for variable amounts of time, etc. before it would FINALLY be on and discoverable. I am unclear why this happened every.single.time when I attempted to connect my music via iPhone since I literally would do the same rigamarole every day, multiple times a day. But every time, it was the same back and forth connection game. I even purchased the newer model right when it came out hoping this would be solved, but NOPE. Same deal. I finally got sick of it (didn't take long after the new one) so searched for alternatives on Amazon and stumbled upon this Mpow one. The 4.5 out of 5 star rating from a decently sizable # of customer reviews made this a contender 1st (I rely HEAVILY on other customer ratings and feedback for essentially any and all purchases). Then I noted how there is an "on/off" switch and felt like this may solve the whole "turning on/being discoverable/connection" issue so with these 2 Pluses along with the super affordable price, I decided to take the plunge and give it a go. SO GLAD I DID! And yep, my instincts were spot on - the on/off switch has revolutionized my being able to swiftly and consistently turn on & immediately connect my device to my car, with the sound of sweet melodies filling my car immediately thereafter. Sound is clear, crisp, and solid volume. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this product!!!!

Love on off switch

Having on off switch is so much better than having to long press and wait for a tone to know if it is on or off.

Best battery

This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm very impressed with the battery. I received and It passed more than 5 days until I charged the first time and loved it!! High quality product!!!
