I bought this camera mainly because of it's ability to use both 2.4ghz and 5ghz WiFi. I have a newer mesh system that uses both bands combined in one WiFi name and most of the other cameras require a 2.4ghz band with separate name. These were as easy to setup as I can imagine, they literally took me 2 min to setup. I bought 2 of them and both were the same to setup and get working. I am impressed with picture quality and the ability to move the camera to look around with the app. There are only 2 things that I could see as improvements 1-the ability to look more down, if you mount the camera up high you can't look very far down because the camera only looks level to its base or up from there. Left and right allows you cover 360 degrees and you can look up to vertical. 2- Is the amount of light it requires for a good picture. picture is great in dark night vision or good light but low light it does't give a very clear picture because it is between night vision and day. Those are the only things I could think of to improve. Great camera and I am going to add a couple more. I use them to keep an eye on my father in law who lives with us and has taken a few falls lately and with know-one home during the day I need to make sure he's doing OK.

I have only had this for two days but so far so good. Easy to install for the administrator. When I tried to set it up to my spouse’s phone, I had a bit of a difficult time. But if you go into user management, tap on add user provide a username and a password for this user, then tap share, then have the other person click the + button, scan the QR code, It should be easy. The instructions skipped the user management part of the process. Now that it is up and running the pictures are very clear and night vision is very good. You can do a lot and I have not explored everything that I can do yet but I did have to change the sensitivity because it it notified me for every little movement. I would recommend this product. So far it’s been on the easier ones to set Up.

If you are looking for a Wi-Fi camera to install in an office environment, then don't walk but RUN to get this camera. This is my 4th brand (2 purchased thru and returned to Amazon, 1 direct from Lorex), and hands down this is the absolute easiest camera to install, the Android app is robust, and the desktop application and NVR works flawlessly. Pros: Easy to setup Great picture Robust phone app View live stream on your PC and record right to your hard drive (no cloud subscription required) Cons: Have not found any yet

I bought this camera strictly for use with Blue Iris software. If you don't know, Blue Iris software allows you to control and centralize recording for many different cameras and brands. For this purpose, it works great. The ability to set a resolution above 1080p is amazing and returns a clarity that is almost unbelievable. Since I am using the camera with Blue Iris, I am able to access it remotely via that software instead of the default Reolink software. This allows me to block the camera from accessing the internet and alleviates any concerns about it "calling home" or communicating directly with anything outside of my local network. On many consumer grade routers, you can do this via parental controls. I've only had the camera for a short period of time, but so far I have zero complaints. Somewhat easy to set up, Reolinks software isn't too bad, and it comes packed with features that in my opinion make it a great buy. I will update this review if I have any issues or complaints come up, but so far I'm a happy customer. Will definitely be buying another one or two of them.

I settled on this product due to its unique combination of features for reasonable price. The final selling point was how all Reolink products could communicate to the same cloud account and how easy it was to share the account with my wife. The Reolink Beta Cloud service is the best of all security camera companies I found. Unfortunately, the beta plan is about to end and they will start charging for more than one camera still very reasonably priced. I would like the free cloud to support 5 or more cameras but have less storage (much like Arlo). This would make the Reolink product line far superior to other cloud security services that I researched (and I looked at a lot of them). The C1 Pro camera picks up motion VERY well! Picture quality and sound are really amazing and night vision is beyond exceptional. The sound is so sensitive, I could hear my son sniffle his nose from over 20 feet away. Two-Way communication is a great feature and the speakers are very easy to hear even in a large room. My only worry before the camera arrived was the length of the power cord. For anyone with the same worries, it has to be close to 10 feet long if not longer. The App is very user friendly and after some "messing around" is very intuitive in design. I do not think that set up for this product could not be any simpler than how Reolink designed this App. I did all setup on my smart phone for four reolink products in a few minutes... Very simple. I really like this product and they seem to be thoughtfully designed for the customer in mind.

Great product picture quality is awesome and easy set up is very easy. PTZ option is a very useful , you can scan every corner of the room , night vision so crisp same as day very impressed with quality and features,WIFI connection very easy I like the option that you can connect to WiFi 5.2 and 2.4 GHZ which makes it very ease to use in like other cams you are limited to 2.4 GHZ connection only, I would recommend this cam if you want peace of mind and keep you house and family safe and see every activity. I purchase 2 , I have one in living room area which I can scan every corner of lower level , like back yard door , front door and every window . I also have one in garage which I can monitor when garage door opens and closes..very cool product...........

I have this camera setup behind the window pane looking out of the front door. It works really well both during the day & night without any glare!. Pros: 1. Great video, records on SD card (you can also have it setup via Synology NAS (I did a trial but have not explored it fully). 2. Ability to turn off LED's at night and get a real clear picture (make sure you have your front porch lights on, turn on Day/night setting to color & infrared Lights to Off under the advanced settings of the camera). 3. Can setup up motion detect path. 4. You can also install and setup the reo client software on your PC and have greater flexibility in setting up the camera. 5. Can setup up multiple users (admin/non-admin). 6. Can setup a schedule to enable motion detection and recording to SD card. 7. Sends motion alerts via push notification to your phone or via email (you need to set it up in the advanced tab under E-mail and provide your email address as well as enable less secure apps to access accounts within Gmail). 8. Ability to backup your camera configurations via the Reo link client (under the maintenance icon) to your PC. I found this very useful after I had to restore by camera to factory default after I forgot the admin password! Con's : 1. Cannot change alarm tone from default - minor inconvenience but you can turn it off! - which is a plus. 2. The motion sensitivity is slider based from high to low and cannot differentiate between a person and an object or moving leaves, insects etc (not as good as ring pro). 3. No way to reset your admin password via email if you forget it. You have to to a factory reset!. Overall I found it to be a very good indoor camera for the price, well worth it.

I very much like this camera, no muss no fuss fast setup & the picture clarity is excellent. I appreciate the LAN port connectivity, in addition to the wireless setup. This is a most excellent motion detection security camera for my purposes, it is in a window looking out on my back patio/lawn area. It has a wide viewing area & the ability to move over a wide area/range, including up & down. Nice heavier power cord/supply & mounting bracket included, as well as a LAN cord. I'm very pleased!

I purchased 5 of these Reolink security Cameras and I could not be happier. They have met my expectations. They were so easy to install and set up. The signal does not drop as it did for the previous cameras I purchased. These are really nice cameras. The night vision works well and I love that they move up and down and side to side. And you can talk to the individual using this camera. I check in on the house often and I love that I can move the lens and look around. I used my iPhone to set up the cameras and I monitor the cameras from my iPhone.

I got this security camera to watch my "soul kitty" while at work after he came home from the hospital. I had a lot of issues with the camera at first that made me think it was defective. First of all, the tilt is awful if you need to tilt down. It is true that it has a 105° tilt. However, most of the tilt is upwards. The problem with that is that I needed to put the camera on a wall so that it could see over the furniture, but that meant I could not see part of the floor because it just did not tilt that far downward. I tried to resolve this by slanting the camera in a downward angle so that tilting it to the lowest position could provide a view of the floor. that did work. However, when rotating the view left or right from that angle, the image was crooked and somewhat sideways. I also had a problem viewing the image from a web browser outside of home. I forwarded the port setting on my router and could access the webcam page, but the video wouldn't play. It just showed it was "paused." I didn't see any mention of these issues in any of the reviews so I assumed this particular camera was defective and Amazon kindly took it back and sent another one....that did the exact same thing! I then spent 2 days obsessively searching for a different camera in which the camera itself was on the bottom of the unit so that I could see more of the floor and less of the ceiling while keeping the camera straight. Who needs to tilt their camera so much towards the ceiling anyway? I finally found one that wasn't overly expensive and excitingly ordered it. In the two days it took to be delivered, I figured out that I had to forward other ports on my router in order for the video part and realized that I could turn the Reolink camera upside down and that, in doing so, it would not affect the image! So, I tried the other camera and hated it because the image quality was not nearly as good as the Reolink. I guess because it's an outdoor camera and I was using it indoors....maybe. So, I installed the Reolink on the same section of the wall, only installing it upside down, made sure all the correct ports were forwarded in my router settings, and LOVE IT! Now I get to see my entire room with no crooked or tilted images. The night vision is so much clearer than the other one I bought (which was more expensive, BTW). It was a very difficult learning curve in getting everything to work the way I needed, but now that I have it set up, I am amazed at how wonderful it is! For the high quality of the image and the features it supports, it clearly outdoes more expensive cameras, and many of the more expensive ones don't even have all the same features. So, it might take some time to get the camera the way it's needed, but once you do you will not regret it. The ONLY thing that could make this better is if it had a zoom capability, which the C2 has, so I'm exchanging this C1 for the C2.
