Great laser pointers for our cat and new kitten

We are really happy with these laser pointers. There are four points that make these great. First is that you get two for a good price. Second is that the lasers are really bright. Third is that I don't have to hold my finger down on a small button to keep the laser going. Fourth is that they take one AA battery instead of the annoying watch batteries. One thing is that the battery direction is counter-intuitive. You put the positive (point) end of the battery against the spring. I thought they were broken until we figured that out.

Great laser pointer set!

This laser pointer is bigger than all other ones im used to. Does not come with batteries so you will need AA batteries. The pointer has a button which has 3 settings, the laser, a light, and the off setting. As soon as i opened it and put batteries, i played with my cat for half an hour... he was entertained till the last second. Once i turned it off he still kept looking for it. Poor kitty. Yes this is the first time for him playing with one. Also. I think its cool that this a two set and comes with a cute mouse.

I have a lot of cats. Like, a weirdly high number of cats. We go through laser pointers in this household. I've never bothered replacing batteries in the laser pointers before because the batteries are little and fiddly and hard to find, but not in these! These laser pointers are really, really good! They use regular batteries like your remote control takes, you don't have to hold the button down for the laser, it has a switch. The laser and the flashlight are nice and bright.

This is so much nicer than the little plastic lights you get at the pet store. It seems durable and uses regular AA batteries. The cat follows me around when she sees me pick it up. I am sure it will provide hours of fun!

Good product at a great price -- and my cat loves it!

I couldn't believe how cheap this laser pointer is -- two for well less than $10! And they work great. They both make a nice bright laser spot, and they also work as a flashlight. The flashlight is not overly bright, but it gets the job done. Perhaps best of all is that the device uses a standard AA battery. (Be aware that you have to install the battery with the + side down toward the spring in the laser pointer -- it looks opposite to what you might think.) The laser spot is super bright, making this laser device a great laser pointer as well as a fun cat toy. My chubby cat was immediately interested in catching the red dot, and she will chase this thing all over the house. Great fun for both me and the cat! It's easy to fit this laser pointer in the hand (see my photo), and it feels durable enough. For the price, it is an awesome deal... my cat and I both thank Amazon for this excellent deal.

Awesome product. Cannot beat the price.

I actually purchased this product for one of my dogs. Now, as a force-free dog trainer I do not recommend using a red light to exercise most dogs. Red lights tend to be over stimulating for them and generally result in new behavioral issues. This dog is a special case. He is terrified of touch. I have successfully trained him to sand his front nails on a sanding board, but have so far been unsuccessful at teaching him to do the back nails (a much more complicated concept). He happily chases that red light back and forth, back and forth across my concrete patio and that keeps his back nails in check. This red light is so powerful we can even use it during the day if it is a bit cloudy. I, also, really appreciate it taking a AA battery instead of several hard to find and expensive little batteries. I guess it should be mentioned my cat likes it as well, but she thought the squeaky mouse was a joke.

These are not the typical pet store laser pointer- they are so much better! I've been buying the cheap cat toys for years. You know, those ones that come with batteries to replace, but if you can even get the end to screw off the whole thing just falls apart? These are so much better. Study, easy to open, and a nice weight in your hand. It's been a month of daily use and the batteries show no sign of wearing out yet. It takes 1 AA battery and is easy to replace. The light is just a light but my cat seems to find it fascinating too. Both are very bright. I'm actually hoping they dim somewhat with use. My cat has to squint when he gets close to the laser point. My biggest complaint (which had nothing to do with the function of the toy) is the lack of noise on the control button. He used to come running when he heard that click and this one is completely silent.

my cats love it.bright lights.one is like a normal flashlight then the next one is a red dot laser pointer.the cats love it.uses 1 AA battery(not included)which I like because no more annoying button batteries for me like my other laser cat pointer.get it for your cat or as regular flashlight,which is a round shining light and you get two laser pointers.very happy with this laser.and also you get a little red squeeky mouse.
