Very bright ring light - easy to transport - simple to use!

Ring lights are useful for all types of shoots, from music videos to event shooting and portraits. It provides uniform light coming straight from the camera’s point of view, which is great for even light, and helps eliminate shadows. I have been building out my photography toolkit and a ring light was one of the key pieces that I needed to take my portrait shoots to the next level. I’ve used it on one shoot so far and even at the lowest setting it’s enough light for the subject. Quality light. Adds nice highlights to eyes.

The Samtian 18-inch Ring Light is a great quality lighting tool for many applications. It holds my iPhone 6Plus, my spare iPhone 6, my canon camera, and canon motion camera. It came with all the adapters for all of them. It comes with a very nice carrying case for easy portability. The height of the stand can be adjusted easily. The knobs turn easily and look very durable. It compacts down to a very small size. I love this feature. The 18” size of this ring light is perfect for creating that cute highlight in your eyes. Smaller ring lights don’t create that. I especially love that it is dimmable and the color temperature can be adjusted as well. I’m super excited to use this light for my social media posts. It’s a great addition to my current gear.

Great Purchase, Very Happy!

This is the best ring light I have purchased. It is very useful and affordable for new Youtubers and people in who like to take videos. The item was packaged very well and it also has a nice pouch that had a small remote to control your phone to take pictures and also had the power cable. It is very bright and has two knobs on the back. One knob adjusts the color temperature and the other knob adjusts the brightness level. It has an attachment to hook up your phone on it! Very affordable and a great product! Would recommend!

Fast & easy setup, versatile

We have a fair amount of lighting equipment (soft boxes, LED panels, spot lights...) but this one is our new addition and new favorite. It's so easy and fast to set up and so versatile with its color and intensity dial knobs. It has a sturdy base, a standard power figure 8 cable and a padded carry bag. We have not taken it on locations yet but so far we love it for our in studio shoots.

Love it

It worked really good at my last art show at night, We used it to light up my booth. I love the ability to adjust the tone and brightness by just turning the knobs. Planning to use for product pictures which I’m sure it will work well for too. The stand comes with several ways to mount the light which allows for multiple positions. Great product so far!

Great for makeup artist!

I been looking for a ring light and I’m glad I bought this one! It is bigger than I expected but hey I got an 18” lol. The only thing I don’t like is that the ring is flimsy at where it attaches to the rod, maybe I attached it wrong but that doesn’t matter. What matters is it does its job as a ring light.

Great ring light for your photo and video needs

Got my ring light and had some time to test it. First of all, it comes with all the necessary extras. A bluetooth remote button, a phone attachment, and carrying bag. It's quite competitive to the other brands out there. The led light is quite bright, it comes with both white and orange led lights, so you can get warm, cool and a mixed type of light, based on your needs. It is very powerful in terms of lighting the subject. I wanted a ring light for my youtube videos and instagram photos. Feels like an early Christmas!! I am so happy with the purchase and look forward to other products by Samtian brand!

perfect for Pictures and makeup

I have been using this for more than a week and I love it. The quality is awesome! It's a great 18-inch ring light at an affordable price. The lighting is great and perfect for taking pictures, doing makeup, and recording videos. It is light weight and easy to set up. The package came with everything in the description. I would recommend this ring light.

Everything I wanted for a good price

This device has leveled up my makeup game beyond words. It makes all the diffeeent to be photographed with good lighting and this ring light makes it easy. I shopped around before settling on this model which I opted to get because of the temperature setting dial. Many of the other models have filters that you install over the ring giving you essentially only three colors whereas the dial on this light gives you many options including the ability to literally dial it in precisely how you want it. It’s been everything I expected functionally and more than I could have imagined in terms of positive impact.
