3rd purchase! Very nice larger strong travel umbrella. Fits in door pocket of my car. Well worth it.

I purchased the first umbrella a couple weeks ago. I tried it out and liked it. I like that folds down nicely. I purchased two more for total of three. I hung one in my office on the coat hook, another by the door in the house. The third tucked nicely in the driver door pocket of my crv. I had full size umbrellas before but they take up so much room in the car and I had to store them behind the doors to keep them out of foot traffic way. The problem with most travel sized umbrellas is they are so flimsy. This travel brella feel well built with 10 spokes instead of the standard 8. I’m a large man and this is a good size for a travel umbrella opening up to 40” plus. Price isn’t too bad so if I leave it somewhere I’ll be mad at the loss but it won’t break the bank, so I’ll get over it.

Great umbrella

I am way too excited for it to rain again because I can't wait to use this great umbrella again. You click the button and it's nearly instantly open and ready to go. The handle has quite a bit of height when it's extended too. And when your ready to close it you just hit the button again. When I need another one I'll definitely be reordering.

Good Compact Umbrella

We only used the umbrella for one day. It wasn't extreme weather, but it was a consistent heavy downpour with gusts. The skeleton/frame seemed very strong. I was really impressed with the Teflon coating, which repels water and dries quickly. The droplets stayed pooled on top of the fabric and I was able to easily shake them off, a great benefit when walking into the office on a soggy morning. I also like the push button open/close. A plus for entering and exiting a car. This is a short-term review, I haven't had this umbrella long enough to really beat it up and put it through its paces. Time will tell.

Good size and holds up well in inclement weather

Let’s face it, we’ve all lost an umbrella (or three) over the years. We happened to leave a nice one at a restaurant and didn’t realize until we got home. Fortunately, we’ve had some success with recent umbrella purchases, and decided to try our luck with this one. Here are our thoughts: • Size: As you can tell from the picture, it’s a bit bigger than the typical travel umbrella. Fortunately, that means that the umbrella covers a pretty wide surface area, which is perfect for rainy/windy days. • Durability: It happened to downpour the night that we received the umbrella, so we were immediately able to test the durability. So far, we’ve been very happy as it has held up well in tough weather. The handle is thick without being heavy, well-constructed to handle heavy downpours and winds. • Ease of Use: We’ve been placing increasing importance on the ability to use an umbrella with one hand, specifically the ability to open with a touch of the button. This umbrella certainly checks that box. We’ve also been impressed by the lightweight nature, which doesn’t seem to sacrifice durability and steadiness. In summary, this umbrella will hold up well and makes an excellent addition to our collection of “city” umbrellas (i.e. those that are not that big but provide adequate cover and have strong maneuverability)!

The best travel umbrella for the money

This is a fantastic umbrella. It arrived in great shape with the handle bubble wrapped, and in its carrying case. The spring in this bad boy is incredibly strong and no joke. The automatic closing feature is great as it saves a good amount of time trying to get it put away. I've replaced my standard umbrella (the blue one in the photos) with this one due in large part to the old one not being able to withstand the high winds I encounter during my travels, as well as it being much larger and thus able to completely cover me and my backpack. As for portability, you can see how easily it fits in the zippered pocket on the side of my backpack. That is must as I travel extensively, and need something that won't accidently fall out on a plane or while going through airport security. It measures in at the advertised 11.5", and definitely has more weight to it than the old umbrella I carried, but that weight isn't so much as to make it a burden. The only nitpick I have about this umbrella happens to be with the zippered bag. I've noticed on a couple times that when putting the umbrella back into the bag, that the zipper would catch on the fabric of the umbrella. However, there was no damage to the fabric. Nonetheless, I would be careful when zipping the bag closed. I'm thinking that a velcro strap may have been a better closing option for this. I look forward to traveling with this umbrella going forward and know that it will certainly be more dependable than my old one. I'll update if I encounter any problems in the future, but considering its lifetime warranty, I don't think that will even be a problem.

Well-built, sturdy umbrella

This umbrella feels extremely sturdy and makes a great compact companion to carry around for you. I am certain it will last quite a awhile. The only thing I have to say is that as a larger person, it doesn't give me as much coverage as I would like. However, that is more of my fault for not realizing by being so compact, the coverage will be less as well. I have given it to my wife who absolutely loves this model.

It works great

I absolutely love this umbrella! Not only does it work great, it’s so much fun to use! Press the button for it to open up and press the button again for the umbrella to close! After it closes all you need to do is shorten the umbrella and wrap it up. I also like how it comes with a cover that has a zipper so that you can fit the umbrella in it easily and then zip it up.
