A wonderful slow cooker ,very easy to clean ,for me is the best slow cooker that I have , the lid protects the food very well, it is also a thermos that keeps the food hot and safe and you can take it anywhere without fear of being bounced.

Wife loves it

Got this for the wife from the kids for Christmas, she loves it, I havent eaten from it yet personally but she used it for her family get together and I didnt hear any complaints so it must be good.

Pricey, but worth it

When I read the reviews on this item prior to purchase it seemed that everyone had received it for free as part of some kind of reviewing service. I am an actual consumer who paid full price and received no extra benefit. I was looking to replace my fifth slow cooker; I use them often and have always preferred the programmable type because the newer models cook on higher temps for food safety reasons. The programming options are very easy and I found it easy to clean. It cooks beautifully and the warming feature after the program has expired is my favorite part. My only observation is the first time I used it there was some odor (probably from the shield unit). But it seemed to dissipate quickly. It is rather expensive, but I since I use it an average of twice a week, it is worth it to me.

Crockpot to go par excellence!

I have used a crockpot for most of my adult life and then gave it up for an instant pot ....BIG mistake! So when looking for a new crockpot I chose the thermal shield and have no regrets . It is easy to take anywhere without risking a mess and keeps food hot for hours even when unplugged. I am very satisfied and highly recommend if you desire to be mobile with home cooked food!

Great investment!

I have had this slow cooker for about 2 months and it was a great buy. I was a little hesitant to buy at first due to a couple reviews saying it got too hot. I did notice the first time I used it, it was definitely hotter than the older one I had but I think it was because I had gradually gotten used to our older one. The outside did not get very hot at all. I can cook more on low when needed that I couldn't do on my older one because it had turned into more of a warm setting. I love having the timer on this one. I know if I have to step out for awhile that this cooker will go to warming after my timer goes off. This cooker also has the clips on the side so you can lock the top down & secure when taking it to potlucks at church or a friend's house and never have to worry about it spilling in your car. I am so happy with this buy. I didn't realize how bad I needed a new one. Love this slow cooker!

Works great thus far! I like it!

I like it and I can't compare it to any other one that is current. I had an old Crock Pot that was used for many years until I left it on high overnight by mistake and I ended up cracking it. At least this one have a timer and goes to warm. We'll see as I saw a few complaints about the gasket retaining smell but time will tell. If they have a replacement gasket I guess I better get one for future use.

Great Crockpot

Very pleased with the Crockpot. Have to admit, it is a bit difficult to clean the sides, but other than that, it's gret. Like the side handles, and how easily it is to pickup the interior bowl. Would definitely recommend this item.

Best Crockpot yet

I received this crockpot the other day and last night we made a roast in it. It was so nice and easy to carry it around where we needed it. The food turned out great and washing it was no problem. There are two things that could be a little better: it needs a longer electrical cord so you have better options on where you plug it in and second I would love it if the latches held onto the crockpot itself so you can take it out securely if you wanted to. I do love the fact the the body of the crockpot itself is non - skid but if I want to take the food directly to the the table, I'd rather leave the outside part on the counter and bring just the pot there. Other than that it really is a good device. Well worth the money.

One of My Favorites - One of the Best

There are two things in life I absolutely can't live without in my kitchen - a good slow cooker and a good Instapot. Almost all of our meals are cooked in one of the two. On some days I literally have 2 to 3 slow cookers going at a time (we have a big family) for main dishes and side dishes and dessert. I have owned more slow cookers than I can count over the years and this one is definitely one of my favorites. The lock isn't at all difficult to use and it really is secure (I tested it and nothing spilled out so I have no problem putting this on my car's leather interior if I'm taking a dish somewhere. I know what's in the pot will remain in the pot. It's easy to clean (huge plus in my book) and is dishwasher safe (another huge plus). It's also very easy to handle and carry. I like the rubber feet on the bottom since my family can become rather rambunctious and I don't have to worry about this sliding off the table or the counter. I REALLY like that the cord can wrap on the back so that it's out of the way when storing it and you don't have all this extra cord hanging loose when it's on the counter. The features and the display are top-of-the-line. A lot of the slow cookers on the market have 4 hour and 8 hour settings. You can program this one for up to 20 hours. Very impressive. It also has a warm function so you don't have to grab it as soon as it's done cooking. It cooks evenly and makes amazing food (something all slow cookers should do but unfortunately there are some duds out there). Honestly if I could only have one slow cooker I'd pick this one. It's definitely my favorite out of the ones I do have and out of any of the ones I've had in the past. Would make a great gift for a wedding or a housewarming gift. Anyone from a single person to a large family can make use of it and the features are top-notch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a high-quality, feature-rich slow cooker.
