Nice and comfortable but light weighted hooks

I only recently started crocheting so I am still a newbie, but I absolutely adore these hooks: they are very well made and feel comfortable and sturdy but at the same time light. I can't wait to work on more projects and experiment with them!

great gift for a crocheter

Bought these for a friend of mine who loves to crochet. She was super excited when she opened them because she only has the small standard hooks, and these are HUGE. and when I say HUGE, I mean freakin HUUUUGE. When I opened the box, I thought someone had sent me cigars by mistake.

Used smallest for bulky size 6 yarn

I needed a larger needle to crotchet with the bulkier yarn I had gotten. I loved the way it turned out. I've not used the two larger needles in the set. I'm not sure my little hands could hold them very well. :) But the smaller of the three worked exactly like I needed and my blanket turned out lovely.

Great quality wood! Love them!

Love these! Using them to crochet chunky beanies, takes approx 30 minutes for each beanie!! Takes a little bit to get used to the size and dexterity, but once you get going there’s no going back!! Plus, the fact that they’re wooden helps the yarn slip better than with the plastic hooks. I’ve used the XL plastic hooks and they tend to stick, not a fan of plastic. These are good quality, sanded and smooth, yarn does not ever catch on any nicks. I love them!

Absolutely nothing to complain about here. These needles are perfect for crocheting large blankets. I love the feel of the wood in my palm. The size range is great as well. I will be using these for years to come

3 Large Handmade Beach Wood Crochet Hooks

I love these high quality homemade wooden crochet hook set. I made my first project with the middle size hook of the group. It is a decorative type scarf to wear with a light green top I have. It is made from a strip of lacy fabric and the new hook make it an easy project and I finished it relatively quickly. The hook is comfortable, smooth and deep enough to hold the loose lacy fabric easily so I didn't drop stitches. I can't wait to find a project to use the other two hooks with large yarn.

BIG crochet needles, comfortable

I looove these big needles. They feel very nice and comfortable in my hand and are very easy to crochet with. The thickness of the needles makes them easy to hold and my hands are not cramping up trying to hold on to a thin needle. Great buy!!! Try them out, they are reasonable priced.

I’ve been crocheting rag rugs out of old t-shirts lately using a K hook, which makes it very tight and heavy. Hoping that these smooth wooden larger hooks will give me a loser stitch and more lightweight result. Can’t wait to have some fun with these. Very smooth and since I’m not using yarn, snagging should not be a problem here. Good quality and light weight. Haven’t used a hook this large before but they wouldn’t make them if it wasn’t doable right! I think American sizes would be P, Q & S but not sure.
