IT SCOOPS THE POOP!

I have a 100+ lbs lab (not overweight). He gifts me with the largest dumps I've ever been blessed with. The scoop tray is just a tiny bit too small for his monster mounds, and require some smushing to get the cleanup job done. If you have a normal dog who makes regular deposits, you will be fine. The rake and scoop poles are sturdy. I keep them outside and haven't seen any rust (in 6 months). Would definitely buy again!

Best scooper I've ever bought!

This scooper is amazing! We have two dogs, and it's able to hold a few days worth of their poop. I'm 5'7" and the handles are long enough that I don't have to bend over at all to use it, which makes it a lot more comfortable to use than the ones I've used previously. It's also lightweight enough that it's easy to carry around even when the tray is full. I wish I had bought this sooner!

Good buy.

A bit smaller with shorter handles than I was expecting but I am very pleased by the ease of assembly and sturdiness of both pieces. My previous scoop pan and rake set had wooden handles, which deteriorated over time making the handles unstable. This product is all metal except for plastic handles and should hold up much better in summer heat (desert southwest heat!) and rain. The pan and rake are coated with a nonstick material and promise non-rust and easy cleaning.

Absolutely LOVE this pooper scooper - best one I've ever owned in 50 years!

This 2-unit styling is the best. Just lower the "poop pan" (instead of dust pan) and scoop the poop on with the pronged rake. I have owned so many disappointing 1-units with jaws that clamp the poop which, on long grass, only mushes the poop down and into the grass because it is hard to get completely under the "job" due to settling into the grass. With this one, especially if the job is a bit mushy, shall we say, you can maneuver both the pan and rake to get a handle on it, even in taller grass. I LOVE IT! PLUS (and this is a big plus for me with a large breed dog), you can pick up multiple jobs instead of one at a time. It's great! Well designed and weather-resistant (we live in Wisconsin and go from extreme heat to very, very ice, wet cold, snowy weather).

No more poop problems.

We have a large black lab and a reb/blue heeler. We were using a shovel to pick-up our dogs poop, and I hated it! It would hurt my back being bent over the whole time, while leaning into the smell and trying to jiggle to poo on to the shovel. Plus, their poops are huge! I would avoid doing it at all costs. Because of that, our back yard became a poop war zone. Landmines were everywhere. Now, this pooper scooper has made it super easy! I don't have a problem going out every other day and scooping poop. It doesn't hurt my back, you don't have to lean into the smell, and there is no awkward jiggling of poop. Just scrape it right in and dump it. Both tools are very easy to clean off with a hose, if needed. I did struggle a little putting it together, but I think it was operator's error than the product itself. Also, chuckled a little because it comes with white gloves to use while doing the deed. I have already ordered my mom one for her house. Over all, really great purchase.

Better Than a Trowel and Little Bag

I purchased one of those things with the claws that are supposed to pick up the poop with a bag attached. I couldn't make it work because of the tremors and arthritis in my hands. I decided to try this set. I am very pleased. The height is great for me, and it actually works--I wasn't sure it would... The rake just quickly and cleanly pushes the poop right into the shovel thing. Even my grandson loved it--used it twice last weekend when he was here.

Poop bags slide right over the shovel, gets ALL the poop!

Best thing for garden home, medium dog. Really gets it all, even little pieces. BONUS most doggie bags slide right over the shovel, so no touching! I can't bend over, so the is perfect. Just hose it off, no rust at all. The claw ones don't get all of it, pieces break off and fall through. Love it.

The Box Art Is Worth The Price!

I ordered this poop-scoop and rake set because I needed its functionality. It won my heart with the art on the box! I *wish* I could get my dog to be as good as the one depicted on the box, but alas, I'll be scoopin' up after her poopin' out in the yard. So it's a good thing this poop-scoop and rake set is as functional as the art on the box is fabulous. It was easy to put together, and now it stands outside at the ready, waiting for its christening. In the meantime, I'm going to cut out the cartoon on the box, color it, and keep it in a location that will amuse me and inspire my dog to be a better, more tidy canine citizen!

Perfect for home use!

Super easy to assemble, sturdy, and seems to be good quality for use in a home. The handles may not hold up in a hectic kennel situation where they could be banged around a lot. For a home with 3 small dogs it is PERFECT!
