Cools Quick, Runs Quiet.

Bought this to replace my Coleman thermoelectric when it quit on me. Very, very happy with it so far! I cheaped-out for some reason and bought the smallest version…wasn’t familiar enough with the Wagan Tech brand, I guess. I don’t usually need very much room to store my lunch and drinks, but there’s been times when it’s good to have that option. Anyways, this cooler seems like it’s a quality product. Solid build, lightweight. Runs quieter and cools quicker than my old Coleman. Solid latch. Good seal. Haven’t used the warmer function yet, but I’m looking forward to it when winter gets here. If this cooler holds out like I hope it will, I might upgrade to a larger Wagan Tech cooler. Fingers crossed.

For the money it is a good value

It did a pretty good job considering that it’s working off the car battery I would like that if it could make the drinks a little colder and I did not realize how small it was you can only handle a six pack of soda or whatever cans or laying down maybe four or five bottles maybe of water but for the money it is a good value

Awesome product for road trip!

I have been using it when I have road trip! Love the compact size and it really does cool my drinks! I have to say it is my must-have travel buddy now.

Both warmer and cooler mode work great

I have been using the warmer during this winter season and it really works perfectly! My food and my drink were kept very warm! Now I don't really use the cooler mode that often right now but for the times that I used, it does cool my drink and and cools really fast!

Great traveling companion!

This cooler worked great for my needs! It's thin enough to set between the two back seats of my van and also serves to separate the two kids for our long road trip! I also bought the AC to DC converter to get the cooler cool before leaving. It keep the drinks cold for the entire trip. Even when we made some brief stops, the drinks stayed cool until we got back. On the way home, I was able to put some perishable goods in there and keep them cool for the trip home. I liked the ability to change to heat mode as well! On one of our trips, we brought some take out for out trip and I was able to keep it warm until we got to our destination so that the food was nice and warm for our picnic. I'm thinking of getting another one for the back of the minivan.

Great car refrigerator for a 6 pack or leftovers!

This is a great personal fridge for my car. Here in the desert it’s a necessity to have water on hand. Cold is always better for me. When we travel this is perfect. Haven’t tried to heat anything yet.

Lightweight Electric Cooler

The first thing you'll notice is that this cooler is super light. That's a big pro considering you're probably going to put a a six pack in there. The added strap is convenient to carry the cooler as well. It's also simple to use with a simple warm/off/cool slider. Now on to the more important details. I ran this cooler for 20 minutes with the AC blasting away at around 71F and certainly as with any electronic item make sure it's well ventilated. This is important because of the way this device works. If it's too warm outside it wont cool effectively as stated in the manual. Don't expect this thing to give you ice cold results in a short period of time. If you put in cold drinks to begin with and keep it running on your road trip, you and your passengers will be happy to know that your cold drink will still be cold. I've already contact Wagan with my own suggestions on how this product could be improved and they've already hard at work in making their future products better! Nice and portable cooler

Got this because of a recommendation from a friend. This is a neat little personal cooler/warmer that is useful for a day trip with the family. It is very lightweight and portable. Used it recently for a quick trip to the beach. The cooler is probably not cold enough to cool drinks from room temperature to cold (unless you have a really long car ride) but is perfect to keep chilled drinks cold for the car trip and beyond. As mentioned by other reviewers, this cooler only comes with a car adapter. While it would be nice to include a standard electrical plug, I am not sure if it’s really needed since most destinations (beach, tailgate, park, etc) wouldn’t have electricity available anyway. Final note: haven’t used the warming feature yet. Seems to warm up pretty fast. Due to the dimension, it’s hard to carry dishes to parties but I can see it working well for small pots or cyclindral containers

keep cool or keep warm! I like the idea

I really like how light weight and compact this cooler/warmer is. It's convenient to take with you on the go since it comes with a carrying strap. This is 12V Cooler/Warmer, so I also purchased Wagan #9903 5 Amp AC adapter. I plug it in over night the day before my trip and then power it through car cigarette adapter to keep everything cold. My wife also use it to keep her medications cold during the trip. It's perfect for my family.

Works well, sturdy and light weight

The unit is lightweight and easy to carry, the power cord is long enough to put the unit anywhere in the passenger area of a family sedan while plugged in to the front DC outlet. The unit cools down quickly and quietly, and fits perfectly between the rear passenger seats.
