Excellent customer support
I bought the TP63 mainly to monitor our indoor humidity for various health related reasons. After a few days I got the feeling the humidity was reading quite low. I compared it to an older analog gauge (which I would not have expected to be accurate), the hygrometer on my new Aprilaire humidifier (which I would expect to be accurate), and after leaving it outside in the shade one nice day I compared with the current conditions posted by the local weather service. The TP63 seemed to be running about 8-10 percent low. I replied as such to the vendor in response to their "how do you like it" email and they provided lots of useful information about humidity and immediately sent another one for me to try. In the meantime, I also did some research on line and found out how difficult it is to get accurate humidity readings, especially at low cost. I also found a cool way to test your hygrometer. Just search for "salt water test for humidity" and there are plenty of web sites and videos that describe it. After trying that, and comparing with the second TP63, I am convinced that it is accurate within 1 or 2 percent, which is well within reasonable expectations at this price point and more than sufficient for my needs. Very satisfied with the product, and especially satisfied with the customer support.

Accurate temperatures, easy to use, good value
I bought the base unit and have two extra remote sensors (for a total of 3 outdoor sensors). I have just finished setting it up, so I don't know about battery use by the base unit. I do like that the remote sensors have rechargeable batteries, so they won't be using up batteries. The 3 remote sensors agree within 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit. The base unit agrees with reference indoor thermometers within 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit. However, be patient, allow 20-30 minutes for the readings to stabilize. The sensors have good range - 50 feet in my case. During synchronization mode all sensors were read repeatedly. Once synchronization mode is done, the base only continues to read the last sensor that was read; you can toggle through the sensors with the channel/sync button on the back. I'll update this after I've used these for about 6 months. If there hasn't been an update, everything is fine.

Easy read temperature monitor .
☺I wanted this so bad because last winter was so cold. I have a small well house I heat with two bulbs that's regulated with a dial thermostat. Well, last winter I had to unseal the door to the check my old thermometer and up the dial so many times I lost count. I'm so happy that I have the sensor in the well house 75' from the house and I can check on the status of heat in there without braving the cold. Oh, I left this sensor plugged in but my others just run off the long life 🔋 . I checked the degree difference between my 3 sensors(I bought two extra sensors to go with this unit because it will display all 3) and 2 were the same the 3rd was under by 2degrees. That 2degree difference not bad so, I'm quite happy to say the least.

It actually works like it's supposed to.
My old indoor/outdoor thermometer died and I wanted to replace it. My past experience with wireless I/O thermometers has been very poor. Most have not even worked when new and one I spent as much shipping it back periodically under the one year warranty as I did purchasing it. With thousands of positive Amazon reviews I decided to go ahead and try the ThermPro. It arrived very quickly, was nicely packaged, seems to be very good quality for the price and as I said in the headline it actually worked. I was so impressed that I went ahead and bought a second one. I haven't had them long enough to comment on battery life or durability.

Love It... However: NOT WATERPROOF!!!
I wanted something small to put beside my chair on an end table that wasn't so ugly but worked good. This fit the bill. You do have to remove the back (2 small screws) and sync it but it's easy. Works Great and haven't had it long enough to know how long outside Transmitter battery stays charged (Sorry)! HOWEVER: It "IS" Described Incorrectly! First thing in owners Manual says Keep In DRY Place! It is NOT WATERPROOF!!! Mine is in the dry. Mike Damron

easy setup, tricky to mount
super easy to setup and link the base station and the remote sensor. Lots of these wireless thermometers do not work this easily. Mounting was a little tricky, because the mounting hole on the sensor is tiny - I could not find a screw with a small enough head to fit. If I did not have one, you probably don't either, because I have a lot. I had to use an odd size nail so the slot would fit over the nailhead.

So far, it works fine
I haven't had this thermometer very long so I can not give much of a review, on durability and battery life. The unit is plastic and has a very nice design. Magnet, wall mount and pull out for stand alone type configurations. It shows temp and humidity inside the home and temp outside. I'll wait until through winter to see how well it records temps when it is -17 for a week at a time. That should also show the durability of the rechargeable battery on the sending unit outside. The numbers are large on the screen, which is nice and readable across the room and there is also a nightlight for viewing at night, that automatically shuts off after a short tome.

Easy to set up an use
Got it in the mail, had to recharge the out side unit, an it took less than what time it said it would do, soon the light turn from red to green, installed the batteries in the base unit, hit the button to it to talk to the remote out side, it worked like a charm, it lights up to a nice yellow color, said it was set at channel at the factory, nope, it came to me on channel 2, but easy to change it to channel 1, just a slide of the button.

Love it
I ordered this without knowing all the product details; mostly based on reviews. I am happier with the product than I thought I would be. The outside temp monitor has rechargeable batteries, which is great. We'll see how long they last. The indoor monitor has a magnet on the back so I can stick it on the refrigerator if I want. I'm not talking about a wimpy magnet. This thing really holds the monitor to the metal. I'm very pleased with it. The only thing I wish it had is a humidity monitor for the outdoors. The temp is spot on and I think the humidity is, too. I have no complaints with this product, whatsoever.

Simple; backlit; great unit
Great yet simple weather station. All we ever wanted was the outdoor and indoor temperature which this unit accomodates. Our past couple weather stations were complex with too many settings--rainfall, clock, etc. Many more batteries to replace and seems like when one of the three components needed battery replacement, you ended up having to replace batteries in the other units to preclude error messages. This new weather station only has one set of batteries to replace; the outside unit has a rechargeable battery pack. The unit is backlit which makes it even better. The only thing I have found that could be improved is to add a base for it; otherwise, you have to lean it against an object (it does not have a flat bottom) or hang it. It does however have a strong magnet on back for mounting it; you have to provide the metal or a wall magnet. Other than that, we are well pleased with this unit. We have only had it for a week and a half.
