We had an older version of this, but my husband received a $500 Capresso espresso machine from his work, so we gave our old one to a friend's daughter (and she absolutely loves it!) After using this new machine for a few times and hating it each time, we went and ordered the DeLonghi and have fallen back in love with it!!! Well worth the money!!

Love the strong steam feature for steaming milk. The connection when twisting in the ground espresso is also very tight. Well see if this continues to be a plus, as the plastic part that holds it doesn't seem to be as strong enough to take the torque for a long length of time. The handle of the espresso holder also seems somewhat thinner.

I have found this machine very easy to use; quick heat up, strong frother and very little noise. For one or two cups at a time, it is perfect machine. I especially like being able to brew directly into a tall cup by removing the lower tray. Am discouraged that the machine has been significantly discounted (25%) just 28 days following my purchase.

This is my fifth espresso machine. It is the best machine I have used under the $200 price point. I am getting consistent shots with very little effort. The frothing wand is different on this machine. It has been more of a learning curve to get the consistency of foam I like. This wand seems to work faster, but you have less control. It is much easier to clean. There is also a hot water option for tea or americano drinks.

Great price. Fast delivery time. Easy to use. Comes with a plastic scoop for measuring your espresso grounds on one end, and a damper for pressing the grounds on the other end. It is make of plastic. That was what I wondered when I ordered it. It also comes with two extra filters.

I was between the ec155 and this one. At the time this one was being sold for $80 which was a little lower. Makes a great cup, and the portafilter seems good quality for the price. It does come with a tamper, but it is plastic and flimsy. I would suggest upgrading to a metal one for (you can find them on amazon for 10-15 bucks). Also, for beginners I would suggest using pre-ground illy or lavazza for best results and crema. If you want to grind your own beans, I would suggest investing in burr grinder. There are very little reviews online for this machine, so I took kind of a gamble. But I highly recommend.

Makes great coffee with perfect crema. Very easy to use. With that, it is a $120 machine with limitations. In my opinion, the coffee it makes can be as good as a coffee house coffee provided you use fresh roasted, freshly ground beans. Lattes are excellent but micro foam quality can be difficult to achieve. There is a technique as with all steam wands that require practice. For the money you cant beat it. Thats why 5 stars. Price of the machine for the quality of coffee drinks it can make is great for the budget minded. Hint, if you lose the steamer wand adapter, they are available on line for $2. This part is required to steam milk correctly. Lastly, pulling a good shot of espresso is a combination of several variables. Roast date, grind size and freshness of grind, water temperature and tamp. Mess any of these up, and you will make a disappointing cup. FYI.

I've purschased a bunch of Espresso makers, from expensive to budget stove top styles..This automatic one has been the Best..easy to set up easy to use,and easy to clean! I love it!

Having loved coffee for most of my life and also tasted the real deal espressos and cappuccinos in Italy, I have to say this little espresso maker works great and you can make really good coffee drinks with it. Make sure you clean it properly after each use so it doesn't become a hassle later on.

Have been very pleased with this machine. Picked it up on sale for use at work and I'm telling you my coffee game is strong now. Run a breville espresso machine at home and regular drip coffee and Keurig doesn't do it for me anymore. This allows me a quality americano at work, sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference. Pro Price point (got it on sale) Small and light for what it does. Makes a good espresso not the best but good Con: Plastic and thin metals so be gentle with the portafilter
