This was a quality replacement knob for my 2006 Subaru Outback. I bought the car used over the summer and one of the first things I wanted to do was get rid of the chrome ball shifter the previous owner had. This was a bit more narrow than I was expecting, but I've actually gotten used to it. As other reviews may have mentioned though, it gets VERY hot in the summer and VERY cold in the winter (we're not there in NJ yet, but the temps have started to dip in the morning, and the knob is quite cold). As for fit, depending on your car, you might have to have some trial and error in finding the perfect fit, as this was actually the second shifter I purchased, but they were both pretty cheap so I didn't mind too much.

I use this on my '87 Toyota Corolla. It screwed right on and with the adjusting nut it doesn't budge. It's made of metal and feels good in the palm of my hand. It's not weighted but it's header than a delrin shift knob. It also doesn't look like cheap crap either, just looks like a good inexpensive shift knob.

A bit surprised that it's weighted. The thread is lower on the knob making this a bit taller than needed. Do i have to mention the low cost? Obviously it doesn't cost much to build, so I can't see myself paying $50-90 for a simple knob, even if it has some great brand printed on it. This knob is metallic, making it a bit hot or cold depending on the weather. I don't know why no one has made a mat finish one yet, because as it is, the metallic finish is very slippery. Installation is great, just turn it all the way in, and after you hit the end and it seems like it won't move... well, turn some more to align the print. Good luck.

For the price you can't beat this shift knob. It looks great, has a good weight but isn't too heavy like other knobs I have tried which can cause the shifter to feel a little sloppy. The finish seems durable and installation was easy. Keep in mind this shifter does have a small threaded insert to adapt to your shifter's thread pattern, but once installed it was no problem, it can just be a little difficult to remove the insert without damaging the threads if you over-tighten it. With that said I love this shift knob for the price and have since bought a second one for a friend's car because he liked mine so much. One word of warning, like other metal shift knobs, this can get HOT if left sitting in the sun for a long period of time, my solution is to simply put something over it when parked if it's going to be sitting in the hot sun for a long period of time.

I’m leaving 5 stars because for only $10 this shift knob is pretty solid. Great quality and feel. Time will tell how it holds up but I’m not too concerned. The only issue I have with it is that it is pretty small in my 4Runner, even though it’s hard to tell from my pictures. I think it would be best suited in a vehicle like a Miata, Mr2 or similar. But overall I’m pretty impressed for the price.

Good weight, good feel, does it's job. It gets hot, because it's a metal shift knob. You can feel the machining marks beneath the powder coat, but it was like $20. It feels good, it looks decent, I'd say it's a good buy. It's a basic shift onob with red lettering. Don't overthink it. If you're looking for an accent piece with good attention to detail, this isn't it. But if you want a bit more weight than your factory plastic/leather one, good choice.

Great replacement shift knob, it does get hot in the sun. Easy to install, just install the insert first and screw on the shift knob. I put in the insert first and then put the shift knob on so I could use a wrench to adjust it so that the pattern was going the right direction.

After reading several reviews, I was convinced that it was just a cheap and hollow replacement, which was fine. To my surprise, the one I got is weighted. I'm very happy about spending only ten bucks and getting such a nice quality knob! I'm buying a few more to have around!

Accidentally ordered the wrong size for my 94 Honda Civic- 10x1.25mm NOT 12x1.25mm(!) HOLY DANG does it look fresh with my limited edition NRG steering wheel! I'm in love. Also nice crisp shifts because it is heavier than my older one. Would highly recommend

I really like the knob and the style.
