Great car seat!

Have had this car seat for almost a week now. I am very picky about car seats I have purchased a few online and returned them because they didn't feel sturdy or bulky enough. I'm not interested in a sleek design. I want something safe. The true shield side impact protection interested me I had watched a few videos on reviews for this car seat. Went ahead and purchased it and was pleasantly surprised that when it came it felt nice and sturdy. The sides are a little bulky since they have extra padding incase of a side impact. Set up was very easy and it was easy to install in the car. It's nice to have the feature where you can adjust the base so it is level. As some of the other reviews have stated the button for the handle does get stuck in place some times and you really have to push it to get it to move. Overall, so far I am very happy with this car seat. Love Graco products. We have an all in one graco car seat and those are awesome! Only downside is there is no removable basket to carry the baby in so that's why we purchase one of these.

A little clunky, but great quality

We drive a Prius, so these are a little big for the backseat (we have twins). But the kids have plenty of room to grow in them and the fabric/ quality of the car seats are awesome. Very easy to put the bases in and to adjust the sizing options. Very easy to snap in and take out. Not super light, but by no means are they difficult to carry either. This could be becuse of the added baby weight? Lol

Highly recommend

We bought this car seat for our newest baby. I love the seat, it’s super easy to install, and I love all the padding! Our baby doesn’t get super hot sitting in it. The seat is also light weight which is a plus since our 4 month old is almost 20 pounds!

Best seat for price point

I purchased this infant seat for my second child, and I wish I had it for my first! I think you would be hard pressed to find a better car seat in this price category (especially if purchased with an Amazon Prime registry discount). I’ll just say that with our first we used the seat and base that came with our graco stroller travel system, and it was a pain to use. The base did not adjust, so we had to use a pool noodle underneath one side. The straps did not have the front pull to tighten and had to be manually adjusted in the back (for each time we were putting our son in and out of the seat!). The infant insert was useless and we used rolled up blankets around his head instead. The handle required both hands to adjust. We still used it until we upgraded to a convertible seat around 9-10 months, but it was annoying every time. This time around I was determined to get something nicer. This seat is the opposite of all those things and more! The handle requires one hand to raise and lower, the straps loosen and tighten with ease, the fabric itself is comfortable and supportive, and the base is adjustable to get the seat perfectly level. The canopy is also lovely and makes this seat look high end. It works with our old stroller too, which is a plus! I guess I didn’t know what we were missing out on before. I scoped out a lot of infant seats before I purchased this one, and hands down, for the price point, this is a fantastic choice and I am very happy.

Best thing I bought for my little guy!

Took me two months to decide on a carseat. Let's face it, it's one of the most important decisions you'll make when purchasing items for your baby. I dreaded the idea of switching the base from car to car but omg the base is so easy to move, car seat clicks right and doesnt move at all, its comfortable and easy to clean. Definitely get the stroller to go with it. Such a lifesaver.

Kept my baby safe!

My 11 mos old was in a car accident while in this seat... airbag deployed, car was totaled, and he was completely safe! Ordered another one to replace the first after the crash! Highly recommend!

Lighter than expected

Love this car seat. Very easy to install and use and lighter than I actually thought. This replaced a 6 year old system that definitely had a couple of pounds on it. I wish someone could solve the carrying a car seat issue and awkwardness. I dont want to have to carry a stroller at all times, but I also cant carry my now 14 lb 8 week old for very long with this.

I am so impressed with this car seat! Let me start off by saying I purchased a maxi Cosi car seat a month ago that was fairly more expensive than this car seat and I hate it. I only used it 5 times and it was horrible, wish I could return it and would’ve gotten this graco car seat from the beginning!! The canopy is quiet and breathable! The one click handle makes it so easy when lifting and taking car seat in and out! The seat itself is cushioned and padded so nicely, unlike many others that use that cheap scratchy camping material fabric, this one is soft and comfortable! Base is easy to latch and car seat clicks in perfectly letting you know it’s in secure! I feel it’s all very safe and sturdy while still being light enough to haul around! Very happy with this car seat especially for the price!

Amazing and beautiful!

This carseat is amazing. It is fairly light weight. Beautiful sleek black fabric. Very cushioned, but not too much. The head cushion insert is perfect (not quite for newborn so you might want to order a newborn insert). I LOVE the button on the top of the handle to lower it and raise it. The only feature I wish it had was a cover to go over the babies feet during colder months.

Very Nice Carseat

This is the second infant car seat that I have purchased for my second child & I was very impressed. The padding inside is very nice & the weight of the carseat with my child inside is manageable! Very pleased with my purchase!
