I actually never write reviews (though I should more often), but I was so surprised and happy this stuff works that I feel compelled to share. So every now and again I would see some fruit flies in my kitchen. But it would be only a handful and if I removed bad fruit they would disappear and I wouldn't see them again. So never in my life have I had a fruit fly problem that wasn't easily solved by removing some fruit. I'm not sure what happened, but a few weeks ago I came how and there were hundreds of fruit flies in my kitchen. It was shocking really. I think they may have come from or were attracted to a couple plaintains I bought from a small market. So I did what I normally do, I removed all fruit. Next day they were still there, this time hovering around the trash can. So I removed the trash can. Next day they were still there, hovering around my bottles of vinegar and wine. So I removed them. And wiped everything down to a pristine level. Next day they were still there just sitting around. I killed so many with my hands. They wouldn't go away. I went online and looked up remedies. I tried the apple cider vinegar traps with dish soap. Set up about four of them. That worked and that killed a couple hundred. But it wasn't enough because they reproduce so fast. The fruit flies were still in my kitchen. No fruit out, nothing for them to be attracted to. Just sitting around (Have you ever seen that?). I couldn't eat or cook. I had no idea where they were coming from or reproducing. So many. Then I read online that they sometimes come from your kitchen sink drain. I didn't believe it because I looked in the sink drain and saw nothing. I found this product and just though I'd give it a try because nothing else was working. I really didn't believe they were nesting or coming from my sink drain. First night I tried it, when I woke up in the morning there were only a couple of fruit flies. I added another application the next night and I haven't seen a fruit fly since! It worked immediately! I don't know how it works but it works. This stuff is amazing. Every couple days I apply some to make sure they stay away.

I was dealing with those pesky fruit flies and gnats for weeks on end . Those critters multiply and if you don’t stay on top of it you will have a big problem on your hands . It got to a point that I could not cook in my kitchen, or eat . I could not leave any fruit out or enjoy flowers in my kitchen . I used Apple cider traps that I bought online and those were very effective in killing flies that were in the air . However, I could not find the source of where they were nesting at because they kept coming back . I took my chances and assumed that they were in my kitchen sink pipe nesting. So therefore I tried this product . I decided to go with the 1 gallon which was the best decision because you have to treat the sink for at least a week, pouring 4 to 8 oz each day. After treating my sink for a one week, all those pesky flies were gone and they did not return . I highly recommend this product . It was worth every penny .

I moved into a house that no one lived in for a while and i thought we had a fruit fly problem. Even the fridge had their dead little carcasses in it. Come to find out, they were sewer flies. GROSS. I ordered this, dumped it in each drain one time and haven't seen one nasty little bugger since.

I had a bad drain fly problem in my double kitchen sink for which I purchased this. I used it 3 times over 5 days. I ran water through the pipes then on days 1, 3, & 5 I poured a large amount of Green Gobbler down both sinks. I then covered both drains with upside down glass bowls I set in my sink to seal them off. After 10-12 hours, I removed the glass bowls and flushed water through pipes again. Repeated 2 days later, then 2 days after that for a total of 3 times. On the days I didn't use the Green Gobbler, I poured a lot of hot water down both sinks then I poured 1/3 of bottle of undiluted dishwashing liquid into each of the sinks and let the dishwashing liquid sit there for 7-8 hours because I read drain flys will also die from dishwashing liquid. 7-8 hours later, I flushed out all the dishwashing liquid before adding the Green Gobbler again. I don't know if it helped that I used glass pyrex bowls to keep the sink drains sealed off during this period but I had read people say that after they poured the Green Gobbler down the drains, drain flys came flying out and were in their kitchens and I wanted to make sure I kept them trapped down in the pipes so they couldn't fly out and escape while the Green Gobbler and dishwashing liquid killed them off. 6 days later, it appears the drain flys are gone. I would use the Green Gobbler (and dishwashing liquid) again if they ever return. I used most of the big bottle to take care of this - it was worth $30.

I wish I found this product a year ago. I've been dealing with an infestation of these damn fruit/drain flies for about a year. and the only thing that seemed to work were these stupid ugly and disgusting looking fly sticks from raid, but they took forever to work. and honestly who wants to walk into a kitchen and see a sticky fly trap? that just screams unsanitary. I tried several different traps, home remedies, and anything else anyone could think of, and nothing worked until FRUITFLY GOODBYE! Home depot, walmart, target, lowes, OSH, and anywhere else did not have anything that was an "enzyme eater" which is where these little pests were laying their eggs and the problem would continue for as long as it actually did. Fruitfly goodbye got the job done, within a week! THANK YOU Green Gobbler: FRUIT FLY GOODBYE!

This was my first experience with a fruit fly invasion. And I went to war against these critters. Of course it’s in the kitchen so I needed to be careful with what I used. THE #1 best way was to set little custard cups of Apple Cider Vinegar with 1 drop of liquid soap stirred in. The vinegar attracted them & the soap trapped the little critters. I put down Green Gobbler down every drain overnight then flushed the drain in the morning. In 3 days they were gone.

We had a renter move out of a house that we own. We started working on the house and had a large number of sewer flies, which show up when the drains dry out from infrequent use. I found this product on Amazon and ordered it. We used it in all the drains and no more sewer flies. I have ordered another gallon of it so I can treat the drains periodically while we are working on the house.

This stuff works unless you have a break in your pipes. If you have a break it only slows them down.

Less than 24 hours after using this product, my kitchen is fruit fly free. That is the first time in months. Follow the directions, used a little less than the amount suggested even, and within hours of the population started to be less noticeable, came down this morning, haven’t seen anyone yet.

I like that this product is a thick gel, makes it seem like it coats all sides of the drain. We have a fruit fly problem at work so we have been pouring down the sink drains. It smells nice, must be the citronella. The bottle is large and lasts a long time.
