This little speaker is tough! My son is 17 years old and severely autistic. He loves music and this speaker is tough enough to withstand him. Now that is saying something. I'm so glad we found this little gem! Worth every penny. We bought two.

Really loud for something so small. Was honestly surprised. Even at only ~75% volume on my iPhone, this thing is blaringly loud. Wonderful. The sound quality isn't the best and suffers with certain things, but for something so small and only costing $60, you can't expect perfect sound quality. Most songs I listened to sounded perfectly fine with only minor distortions here and there.

Wow! I am super amazed wit how gr8 this JBL CLIP3 is! I bought it for my wife and hooked it onto her bag, when she came home she couldn’t stop smiling!! She said the sound is sooo loud! She’s able to hear it perfectly while surrounded by school buses! I want one for myself now!! Gunna also buy one for grandma since it’s so simple to use! Great size too!!

Surprised us the quantity of sound was better than our Bose speakers. Good bass, clear distortion free sound. Actually sounded better than all other similar speakers we tried. Great build and quality. JBL Bluetooth speakers tend to connect fast and easily. Good design is bigger than what it appears in photos. Battery life lasts all day. Nice clip on design without previous version flaws.

Let me start by saying I love this speaker. I work at Walmart and we have these for $59, and only in black, camo, and silver. I’ve been wanting one for a while so I decided to go on here and check for cheaper prices first. Boy, am I glad I did! Not only was I able to get these for a good $20 cheaper, but in my favorite color; pink! These are very good quality speakers, the first thing I did when I got mine was throw it in the pool to see if it was really waterproof like it says. I only left it in there for about a minute because I just wanted to hurry up and listen to music, but it does indeed float and no piece of hardware seems to have suffered as a result (there’s a rubber piece that covered the aux and charging port, and I worried that water might deep in after so long. But that appears to have not been the case). So if you’re thinking of taking one of these to go casually canoeing or kayaking, I would definitely recommend it, just so long as you’re not going white water rafting or anything intense (the speaker is pretty small and can fit in the palm of your hand, so it might get lost a bit too easily in rapids even if it does float). Now, onto the sound. The sound quality itself is - in my opinion - about what you’d expect from JBL. Very pristine and clear, no lags or sudden disconnections from Bluetooth like some speakers have. The volume honestly doesn’t get all that high, even with your phone and the speakers’ volume at full max. However, it’s plenty loud enough for normal folk to enjoy while you’re swimming, hiking, boating, working, or whatever. Though when you take into consideration its small size, I am honestly impressed with how loud it gets. So if you’re wanting something compact that you can blast the neighbors out of house and home with, this definitely isn’t for you. Now the clip. Let’s face it, the thing that probably attracts us most about this speaker is the fact it has a built-in clip for you to take it wherever you want; portable music! And it honestly accomplishes that feat really really well. A lot of cheaper clips won’t stay straight when you try to hook them onto things, and you have to physically move it back into place to fully ‘hook’. Not this thing. I’ve hooked it onto doorknobs, backpacks, the belt loops of my jeans...I’ve never had to readjust. Just clip and go. And for that reason alone I feel this thing is a keeper. The battery life is supposed to be around 10 hours, and I honestly haven’t used it a WHOLE lot so far but it feels like it lasts longer to me. That may be just because I’ve been using it for a few hours on and off and not for the 10 hours straight, but the battery still lasts a good while. I got about 8-9 hours right out of the box alone, with no charging. The ONLY thing that bugs me about this thing are the tiny, almost microscopic rubber nubbies on the bottom. I know they’re probably there for traction or whatever if you set it down on something, but they really irritate me to feel against my skin when I’m holding or carrying it. However it’s a small thing that’s definitely not a dealbreaker, and 90% of the time it’s gonna be hooked to something and not rubbing against my skin anyways. So other than that little thing this speaker is 100% gold to me! Basics overall: 1. Sound quality: 9/10 2. Volume: 7/10 3. Portability: 10/10 4. Waterproofness: 10/10 (though granted, I haven’t extensively tested this one, how long are you really gonna leave this thing in the water?) 5. Battery life: 10/10 6. Color: 10/10 (I know the pink looks terrible in the photos I provided, but I took them at nighttime under a *very* yellow light. Under normal lighting conditions it looks just like the stock photo)

I just got it so idk how long it’s going to last. Like if going to break down or not but it’s actually really loud and it plays good for this small thing. The only thing tho is it doesn’t come with a cube it just comes with the charger cord. But other than that I really like it so far. Also the base isn’t to noticable ut then again it is very small. I took a picture of the back of it and next to a water bottle so you can kinda see how big it is. The front looks like it does in the picture. And it kinda looks cheep at first but it’s really good. Idk about water proof and I don’t want to try that

Works very well! I mount it on my bike and no problems with sound quality, connectivity, or battery life, during two hours of cycling. I run the speaker at home non-stop for 5+ hours and everything was ok too. Good speaker! It is not the high-end but definitely very decent! I asked JBL about max and min outdoor temperatures for the speaker, and I’d like to share the reply: .....The optimal temperatures to use our speaker in are between +10 degrees C. (celcius) and +40 degrees C, and making sure the product is kept out of direct sunlight. While the Clip 3 is tested to be IPX7 Waterproof, it does not have a shock-proof rating. The Clip 3's body is made of materials to protect the speakers inside but it is still well recommended to be careful not to drop the speakers to avoid any damage and we cannot guarantee that it will not suffer from any damage if it encounters a substantial amount of jolting.....

Big sound for a small package. Works for the casual outing to the beach and beyond. I purchased mine for a sailing and diving trip, and so far, from testing it for a day, the Bluetooth pairing was simple, and more importantly, I chose the Clip 3 ($49) vs the Bose ($99) due to a) cost, b) the headphone jack pairing, c) the battery life. I tested the unit in a 500 SF space at 75% and the sound was strong enough for the entire interior room. This was via pairing with an android phone and also through the headphone jack. Overall: A

I got this for my wife as she listens to a lot of content include Amazon books on her phone. I was going to go with one of the bigger speakers but then considered the portability of this one and the built in clip. Her mom wears hearing aids and does not like usage of speaker phones because it is all too tinny. This does not have that issue. In fact when we spoke to our son he asked us to talk quieter! That says something about this microphone. I was not expecting to use this as a speaker phone as often as we do. The sound is so much better than your phone. This is a real speaker with a real magnet in there and not just that tiny thing in your phone. Bluetooth connected easily and makes the connection quickly when you power it on. This is not small but that is good. Makes it more rugged and easier to find around the house. The buttons are responsive, it is waterproof and it makes a nice "powering on" and "powering off" sound so you know what you just did when you press and hold the power button. Wish it was USB-C for charge connector instead of older USB style that is prone to issues over time plus our phones are now USB-C so this means we carry about an extra cable. That is the one thing I would change. Rest of it has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it for this price and my use case.

Fantastic product. The highest volume setting is astounding. This a true personal speaker. Easy clip and carry on you, has a decent bass kick to it.
