Moukey 10/25 ft XLR mic cables

I've tested the Moukey 10/25 ft XLR cables with my ukulele setup. The quality of the cables for clarity, noise (emf) interference rejection and strain relief physical endurance arevery good. These cables are comparable to other manufacturers' cables costing twice as much. I've tested the sound reproduction quality using a Shure SM58 and a TC Helicon MP-75 microphone. The signal was processed through a TC Helicon Mic Mechanic 2 and a Behringer Acoustic AT108 amplifier. The loudness and clarity were as good as other cables costimgmuch more. These cables should satify musician's needs for small venue gigs, garage bands and home-bound musicians. For large gigs that test the endurance of all cables, I recommend cables design for severe wear costing up to 10X the cost of the moukey cables. These are good inexpensive cables that do the job nicely.

Good quality & value

I purchased the pack of 6 XLR cables. They seem to be really good qualitity for the price - I’ve used one and it works as expected. I can’t comment on the longevity of the cables since I’ve only had them a few days, however if I ever run into issues then I’ll update my review in the future.

Good construction with metal XLR connectors.

After using these cables for several shows I have found they hold up well to life on the road. The XLR connectors are metal, not plastic like many others. The only drawback I have found is the outer jacket material is pretty stiff. It holds up very well to cuts and scrapes but makes it a little harder to coil up as neatly and doesn’t lay as flat on the stage as other cables.

I Bought 5 difference brand XLR cables from Amazon. The best cable out of the bunch was; Donner Moukey 6 Feet XLR Cable. I needed some XLR patch cables for my Rack to patch from Mic Pre-amps to Compressors, Reverbs, Delay, Distressor/limiters. I need them to be quiet and lock in tight to my XLR ins-outs. I love these cables. So now Im pulling the trigger on 10 more to hook all my gear up that accepts XLR’s.

Quality cables

Well made cables at a great price. Solid connections. Shielding covers can be unscrewed to allow access to the soldered connections which is great if future repairs are ever needed.

Very reasonable price.

I am Happy with this cable. I am using it for a busking setup to go to a portable PA. There is no need to go for a very expensive monster cable in most situations. Those can disappear at venues and are expensive to replace. It is better sometimes depending on your situation to get a few affordable cables so you have spares when music stores are closed etc.. This was really inexpensive and shipped right away. The cord is pretty rigid compared to other cables. It connect solid to the mic.
