Great Quality Hood Latch! Easy Install!
RnzNa Bhattarai
Nice latches
Ordered these to replace the faded stock hood latches on my Rubicon. They come well packaged with all the Allen wrenches you will need . Installation was pretty easy except for getting to the bolt that holds the bottom part of the latch but removing the grill( which is easy) makes it easier. The only tools you will need is a 13mm and10 mm wrench or socket. The finish is nice and they look great and hold the hood tight. Defiantly worth the money.

Great product!
I recently ordered these hood latches for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I was looking for a more substantial option to the stock hood latches that came on my jeep. I got caught in a windstorm the other day and my hood was rattling all over the place. That was the final straw that I needed to look for a better option. The shipping was extremely fast. Insulation was fairly simple. I was able to use the existing holes and nuts to secure the new hood latches. After initial adjustment, they closed okay, but not great. I then changed where one plastic tab was placed and the hood locked down perfectly. The installation instructions were not great, but I was able to work around it fairly easily. The brackets overall are very stout. I have had zero movement on the hood since putting them on. We’ve had a couple of recently windy days and they held up very well. I heard did not move at all which is what exactly I was hoping for. Great communication with the seller, super fast shipping, and a great product! I will buy from these folks again.

As expected, much improvement over stock hood catches.
These replaced 11 year old worn hood latches. I have a 100 mile drive each day to get to work and back and most is highway driving. Most days the hood flutter was just noticeable but on a windy day it sounded and felt like I was loosing parts of my jeep. I looked at a lot of different styles available and these fit me best and this specific knockoff had the best price at the time. These completely took the hood flutter away. Install was a breeze with the instructions and took less than 15 minutes. It is a little finicky getting behind the fender for the lower latch bracket but patience meant I didn't drop the nut into the abyss. I have the top catch (part attached to the hood) adjusted to its lowest point and these are still very tight. If I want to open the hood I have to yank on them to get them loose, which is only bad if you aren't expecting it and they slam into your fender. This is unfortunate if you have painted fenders but my jeep is a beater and each scratch and dent makes me love her more. Last note, they are a bit bigger than I anticipated but going from the stock ones that does't surprise me after looking at them.

Well made fast shipping
So I was trying to decide which good latches to get and I really liked this look. They are very stout and well made. Fast shipping from seller was a plus. Since they needed to be taken apart for installation I went ahead and added my accent color to it. The installation was fairly easy to get on and alignment wasn’t to difficult only had to move it once on each side. I like the clip on top to make it a snug latch when closed and no more hood shake while cruising hwy speeds. For the price definitely worth it.

Push the latch closed!
I like these latches a lot. I found the install much easier after my initial shock on the tight space. I will tell you that the most important thing is that after you install them you may wonder if you closed them all the way. I put a little water/spit on the plastic part that the latch bolts over. It allowed it to slip just a bit easier and completely latch. I was nervous to push that hard and I couldn't find any information or pictures of how they looked when latched. I took a picture of it so you could see how tight it was to the hood. Its all a bit tight right now, but I'm sure it will loosen up with use. The hood flutter is gone and they look darn cool.

Great look, excellent quality!
I really like these! They add the right amount of ruggedness and they definitely reduce hood flutter! Install was kind of a pain due to location of nut on bottom piece, but once you get a wrench on it, it gets easier

Look great and heavy duty!
Installed my new latches and they look great!!! Seem to be really good quality and very strong. Went ride after installing them and no more hood flutter!! Would definitely recommend getting a set of these. Just bought a second set of these for my other jeep cause I liked them so much, very sturdy and went on just as easy as the first ones!! Really great product
Pretty Swag
Solid, beefy, but tighten up all of the stainless screws
These are very solid and well made hood latches. They do take a little time to install, due to the location of the bottom nut, but that's going to be the case with any hood latches you buy. The easiest way is to pull your front grill off. After that it's a lot easier. These came with color instructions, but anyone who works on a Jeep much probably won't need them. The install is pretty straightforward. These latches came with stainless hardware and nylock nuts to ensure that they don't back off. This is especially important on that bottom nut because it's a pain to get to if you ever needed to tighten it. They also came with plastic backing plates to keep the metal from contacting your paint. Another nice feature is they even when they are open the latch bar is hooked. This might even keep the hood closed if they do pop open for some reason. The only other thing I had to do was take a knife and scrap a tiny amount of the plastic latch off of the top in order for it to fit through the slot to lock the latch on place. You will see what I mean when you install them. However it was a tiny amount and afterwards they latch down really tight. I give them a little slap with the palm of my hand. Other advice: tighten every one of the little stainless screws. They send you the Allen wrenches to do this in the kit. Mine were a little loose and could have backed out. I recommend even putting some loctite on them. Lastly there is some adjustment in the top part of the latch that bolts to the hood. You may have to move it a little to get everything to line up before you tighten it down.

Very well built, no more hood flutter!
Definitely better than the stock hood latches. They are heavy duty, seem very durable, and lock it down tight. No more hood flutter when driving down the freeway. I read some other reviews about the install before purchasing, and some said to remove the grill, which I did, but I don't think it's needed. To get to the bottom nut, I simply used a short swivel attachment on my ratchet with a 13mm socket over the top of the fender, got the bolt loose, and then reached in with my two fingers to finish unscrewing it. When I needed to put the new nut on, I held it between my two fingers, got it started on the bolt, and then put the ratchet back on it. But, it's your call. It takes about 3-4 minutes to remove the front grill enough to access space from the front, but even then, I had a problem getting my hand in there from the front (I have medium sized hands). On buckle "C" (which is the small plastic tab that goes on top of the latch), it does get in the way of the latch seating all the way, but it's flexible and I just bent it up a bit. You can either do this, or trim a bit from the front where it curves down. Lastly, yes, the directions kind of suck. Very small pictures that really don't show anything visible, other than identifying the parts in the packaging. Although it doesn't say, you DO need a ratchet with a 10mm and 13mm sockets for the nuts, and a flat head screwdriver to remove the grill tabs on top. These are absolutely worth the money, and I hope my review helped.
