Best pencil grip for kindergarteners.

I LOVE these for my kindergarten class, I wish I had these for each one of my students. It’s been a week since we started using them and I see a difference with my students. Some students didn’t know how to hold the pencil, but with this specific pencil grip, they understand where the fingers go on the pencil. The ones who need it most, use it. I wish I had for each of my students. I don’t have any lefties, so I’m not sure how it’d work with them. I recommended this to my colleagues!

These are awesome!

My only regret is that I didn’t buy these sooner! I’ve been trying to teach my daughter how to hold her pencil and her fingers always slip back to bad habit. She immediately caught on to how to hold properly with thus grip and there’s no more nagging or frequent correcting. They are great quality and a gentle teaching tool. I highly recommend these!

Update: I originally gave these 3 stars because they weren't my cup of tea (but quite clearly they are great for others that use them, so maybe would be for you too), so... Customer service contacted me, over and over, because I wasn't getting their emails. They told me since I wasn't satisfied and that their product carries a 12 month warranty that they would give me 100% refund, no cost to me! Now that is what I call service! So, if you give these a try and don't like them, they will make it right! And if they can't get ahold of you they will try harder! Excellent! The back hook doesn't really let the other 2 fingers sit flush against the middle finger. I've seen grips that encourage this style of grip on a pencil yet still not separate the middle finger from the ring and pinky fingers as this one does.

My son struggled with writing and holding his pencils the correct way. These trips has helped him tremendously! He has one at school and one at home. I couldn't be more happy with his progress. Now if I could just get him to write smaller. Lol!

Just what I needed!

I’m a classroom teacher, and bought these for one of my students with some fine motor issues, and other special needs. His occupational therapist said they were perfect, and wanted to know where I got them. My student loves them!

My new favorite!

I’m an occupational therapist in the schools and this is my new favorite grip! My students have a perfect tripod grasp with it - they cannot hyper extend their thumbs, the middle finger rests easily and comfortably in the loop, the web space in open - and it’s an easy gripper for them to motor plan their way into independently and correctly every time! It’s fantastic!
