Just got lingual braces. Felt like the Fruit Ninja was drunk in my mouth slicing and cutting me up. Wax disintegrated and tasted awful and was impossible to remove. This stayed put and felt like nothing. I get anxiety if I don't have a full box lying around.

Just get them!

So glad this product exists! We could not get dental wax to work on our daughters new braces to save our lives. It wouldn't stick period. Orthodots are a lifesaver for your children/parents! They work with the moisture in kids's mouth and they save the day! They are more expensive to be sure but they ARE what you need if you are not getting along with dental wax. Our daughter uses them after adjustments mostly so the large box does last a while. As long as she has the braces we will use this product. It is a no brainer after having used them.

Awesome

Everyone hates having to wear wax because it doesn't stay and it's hard to put into the brackets. Well these "dots" makes it easier put the wax where you actually want it then you close your mouth and the wax activates with the saliva. No having to push or twist to get the wax set.

Great, but too expensive!

My son really preferred these over wax. They stay on longer and are easier to position. He also said they are more comfortable, but they are expensive!! I had to ration them out as he was going through them so fast! I'd recommend if you have a really nuisance wire, but we went back to wax for the most part due to affordability.

OrthoDots saved me from giving up my Invisalign treatments!!!

If your Invisalign trays are cutting into the soft tissue of your mouth...you need these!!! There was a learning curve to using them but I kept at it. They do work! I used them on my bottom trays to keep the underside of my tongue from being scraped every time I spoke. I used at least 6 per day. If you are careful you can use them more than once which is good because they aren't cheap. They stayed in place all night as I slept, too. Without these I would not be able to deal with my Invisaligns constantly irritating the underside of my tongue. I now have no pain as my tongue glides right over the edge now. I ordered two boxes of 50 because I can't wear my bottom trays without them. I'm so grateful I tried them and stuck with it!! My Invisaligns were very expensive and must be worn at least 22 hours a day and if they don't work out you don't get your money back! OrthoDots saved my investment. I highly recommend them.

Amazing!!!!!

When I first tried the product, I thought I wasted my money. The dots kept braking when I applied them to my braces. Then I realized “reading is fundamental!” Only one side of the dot has the adhesive that will cause the dots to remain in place on your braces and if put on as instructed, it will NOT break. The side of the dot facing the clear side of the package is what you have to apply to your brace. I love it! And I’m so happen I slowed down to read the box before my trip out of country because I really needed these! They are great!!

Easy to use!

OrthoDots price is a little more than other waxes I’ve used, but they are the easiest to put on and take off. They leave no residue. Having adult braces has not been easy, glad I found this brand to help the process along.

From someone who has used a lot of wax for braces!

I am a clinical manager at a well-established orthodontic office in the Chicagoland area. I love OrthoDots for the following reasons. #1: Convenience with its single-use packaging (like a band-aid)and its makes it easy for traveling. One box can go a long way! Since it is single-use, it is also much cleaner/more hygienic than wax in a box. #2: It goes on and stays on and it is easy to remove. Plus, you don't have to worry about them accidentally sticking to your clothes or the floor. If you work with children at at school or a camp, I would strongly advise you add OrthoDots to your first aid kit.

These are awesome!

I bought these for my Grandma because she had to have braces put on her upper front teeth for about 3 months. She was complaining about how painful the braces were and how they kept getting caught on her lip and then the wax I bought wouldn't stick properly. So I was looking on Amazon for some alternatives to wax and I found OrthoDots. They are amazing because they fully cover the bracket and they are activated by moisture so they stick really well until you want to take them off. I don't understand why Dentists don't recommend these to all of their patients that have braces.

So much easier to use than traditional ortho wax

I just completed my first week of treatment with Smile Direct aligners and started out by using regular ortho wax and was frustrated with how time consuming it was to use. I recently received the dots and they are a total game changer. The only downside is the the cost. They are so pricey, but the individual packaging, ease of use and convenience is why they are more than the traditional wax.
