Worth the price - gorgeous!
I do believe my neighbor is super jealous. :) This thing is really beautiful... it's a vibrant red color, and it easily shades half my deck, keeping it about 10 degrees cooler on a sunny day. Lovely! I was able to assemble it myself in about 20 minutes. It raises and lowers very, very easily, and the tilt function is smooth. I did purchase the Abba Patio Cantilever Offset Umbrella Base plates to keep it weighted down, which was smart - they're a perfect fit. During the winter, I plan to make a wheeled dolly for the umbrella so I can bolt the base directly to it so I can move it along with the weights around my deck as needed without breaking my back!

Top Notch construction
THIS was a win! Super duper hefty umbrella in Texas heat proof color. Its overall construction really wowed my crew. As an interior designer, you purchase all kinds of things for clients. This one was way past their expectations and that is saying a lot. We purchased the weight set with it and used 3 bags of play sand and 20 minutes of set up time for an instant oasis poolside. The umbrella has perfect control set to position the umbrella with one hand as the sun moves throughout an event. Our raging winds are no issue as long as the velcro wrap for the umbrella is secured around the pole itself. I have seen a lot of these -- this one is the quality of one twice its price.

Strong and stable. Interresting cover color
Very easy to set up right out of the box. Solid construction and it is easy to tilt the umbrella up and down. The cover has a built in stay which makes putting it on, when folded up and not in use, very easy. No ladder is needed. The only negative is the umbrella does not have a swivel base. The cover is sort of flesh colored and we have had more than one comment on what the covered umbrella looks like when it's folded up, use your imagination.... It never occurred to us but others got a good laugh. If this bothers you, you might not want to use the cover or figure out how to change it's color.

Survived Hurricane Irma
Seems to be well constructed and has lasted more than 6 months in the south Florida weather on my dock, where I frequently get strong winds. The key is to get is to get that base FIRMLY attached to the ground. I wound up bolting it down to my dock. Also, I wish it came with a base cover, I had to buy mine separately. For that reason I give it 4 stars. UPDATE: I just changed my rating to 5 stars. We live in Ft Myers and the umbrella withstood Hurricane Irma. Granted, it was tied up, but still...color me impressed. We lost our boat canopy but thankfully we still have shade on our dock with the Abba umbrella.

We Love It!!
We just received our Umbrella, and I would recommend getting the weights you fill with sand, it gives it a really nice finished look. My wife and I love this umbrella. It appears to be very well built. I was able to assemble it quickly. Our previous umbrella would move in the wind and this one does not move at all. We love the cover which is easy to take off and put on. My wife is 5 foot 1 and had trouble raising out old umbrella, but she has no trouble at all getting this one setup. I would highly recommend this this umbrella.

Great for the price.
So far as i can tell, seems to be well made... time will tell. I bought it on Amazon for $309 in Jan. 2017. So far i'm pretty pleased, especially given the price. I used 8 16" square stepping stones for weight, plus a few cinder blocks; seems to be more than enough but we don't get winds over 30mph. I am lazy and leave it up all the time, and we had some good storms this last winter. The fabric seems to repel rain pretty well. Some minor issues: I have the pole as close as i can get it to a wall, but this is not as close as i would like as the rotation of the base necessitates putting the square stepping stones that i use for weight on a diagonal. I wish the umbrella were six inches higher... at 6'4" i clear but my visibility could be better. I would have preferred abba's rectangular version, but it was considerably more expensive and the reviews weren't as positive. It squeaks back and forth in the wind, though it doesn't seem to hurt anything.

Nice looking umbrella
Very nice looking product. Very easy to put together. Not sure how long it would last. It very happy with it so far. Please note this umbrella does not come within weight. It fell over when I open it. Have to put lifting weights on the stand temporarily until the weights arrive. I should have read the product detail.

Wonderful. Provides so much Shade and was so easy to set up!
The umbrella is wonderful. It was so easy to set up and provides so much shade. I purchased the plastic fillable weights that are made for this umbrella. They fit perfectly into the base and provide plenty of weight once filled with sand. The umbrella is adjustable so you can control the angle at which the shade is provided. I did a lot of research before purchasing this umbrella, but I am so glad I decided on this one. See the picture of it fully assembled.

A Sun Block You Don't Wear
Very well made umbrella using good quality materials. I only wish that the locking holes for the slide handle in the vertical pole had one or two more holes drilled at the lower end so it would still block the sun when lower in the sky such as toward sunset. I'm sure I can drill my own holes but why should I have to. It comes with a really heavy duty zip up cover for storage in place. There is even a rigid embedded rod along side one half of the zipper to allow you to reach over the 11 foot tall umbrella when retracted for storage thereby making it very easy to put the cover over and around the umbrella before zipping it closed. Well engineered.

Awesome DIY setup.
Very happy with this umbrella. I ended up making a 8' metal pole with a welded matching bracket to the umbrella base. Drilled through the deck for the pole Sledge hammered through the deck and into the ground until the welded plate (on the 8' pole) was flush with the deck. Bolted through the umbrella stand bracket and the welded 8' stand plate. Added flat washers to plumb the stand. See photos.
