When 16in mounting width is acceptable

this is a good choice. Installing on masonry, that wasn't a problem, though the bottom slots won't line up with mortar. It would be much easier with a flat backed tv, but worked out using the spacers. That said, between the mount, spacers, and tv thickness, it does project a ways, though not a problem above a hearth. It is nearly effortless to move and position the tv as needed, it is so smooth, and it frees up a corner of the room, so it was a great investment.

An amateur can do it.

It was very easy to assemble in less than 1 hour.

Excellent value

Even at regular price, this mount is of excellent value. I just ordered the third one. Make sure to use a stud finder first to identify correct placement and spacing on your wall. The part that connects to the wall is rather short in comparison to some similar wall mounts I used in the past. They were also much longer and heavier and more expensive, but in no way all that much better given the relative light weight of these flat screen TVs nowadays. I my house the studs are lining up just fine with the outer holes on the wall plate. The rest of the mechanics is very sturdy and well thought out.

Easy and well made

I was nervous to mount my TV over the fireplace after doing some research and getting some rather large estimates from services like the Geek Squad. It turned out to be a piece of cake with this handy mount and the enclosed instructions. Very happy with the purchase and the price.

Awesome wall mount!!!

Awesome tv mount. I currently have a 40 in. Samsung in the bedroom and skeptical about buying but this stand fits perfect. I like how it swivels as my bedroom also serves as my office so I can watch tv in any area of the room. Installation was really easy just about a half an hour no rush. The unit swivels really smooth also I have bought different ones in the past and you can tell this one was built better.

Ok, I am very happy with this wall mount. I had to write this review because it survived 115mph wind storm. enough to blow patio furniture around and some into the pool. This Wall mount is solid, holding & supporting a Samsung 82" LED Crystal UHD TV. Weight 112lbs. And it is working flawlessly. I have it installed outside for my pool deck. Last night we has extreme high winds. TV is dirty but still standing in the morning. but regardless, this mount is a solid construction, Great price. 75% cheaper than major stores sell for. So I read to the complaint reviews (1 & 2 stars). Get a grip. 1st, read the instruction, they are dead on, right to the point and easy for a novice to understand and complete task . It took me 5 minutes to install. It took longer to gather tools. And if you still confuse, Google it on Youtube. If something is missing, notify the company. 2. If your going to install in a drywall, Find the studs(use stud finder) for the wall and use the correct hardware to anchor to wall(hardware for securing mount to wall not included). Use Lag Bolts 5/16" x 3" long. The mount bracket the mounts flush against wall is 16" in length. so that means if your wall studs are 16" apart(center to center). You will be using the outer hole on the mount. Home wall studs are 2"x4"'s, (which is really 1.5"x3.5") in size. So that mount can be positioned correctly to be a solid mount. The TV mounting brackets can slide left or right to center TV as needed. So if you use White Ribbed Plastic Anchors to secure your TV Wall mount, you should have hired someone to do the task correctly. Common sense, also, if the studs in your home are not 16" apart, that is not the wall mount problem. that is a home builder quality issue. 3. If the mount is to stiff. loosen the securing screws. If you are finished hanging your 75" TV and realized that its tilted forward, push it back and tighten Screws on both side (x4) of the tilting plate. I'm using a 82" and having no problem. I highly recommend this wall mount

Don't pay more!!

I ordered thinking it would probably go back. Oh no....this is a sturdy very reliable wall mount. We have a 75" flat screen, LED, 4k and it states we are at the end of what this product will hold. There are absolutely no issues. It was easy to install, holds the TV straight (and we have owned it for several months now), and the movement is smooth without hesitation. Everyone is amazed at the price!
