My grandson likes it now that he's crawling. I bought it while he was in the walker and it was a little big for him to handle. It's made out of that softish acrylic that won't crack. The beads don't get stuck so it makes a nice noise. It's like an over sized rattle. Best for when they are past 8 months and on the floor.
