This camera is wonderful for parents

I have two children, I work so they have to ride the bus home and be here for a while until I get home, This has been so great to watch what they are doing when I cannot be here, to be able to speak to them through it and just know whats going on. Everything is in real time, the night vision works great. I have an outside camera also, so this one I keep in sleep mode unless i'm not home. If you are a working parent that has teenagers or small ones this is perfect. Really perfect for anything you want to keep an eye on when youre away.

Excellent Camera for Security

I use this product as a monitor when I am not home. You can set the time it will arm the motion detector, and pieces of the frame the camera will monitor for motion. Once set up it is fantastic, and will alert your phone with a notification and snapshot picture of what it was detecting. Easy to use, connected to wifi flawlessly and has been exactly what I was looking for in a cheap camera for insurance while I am away from the house.

Night vision problem might be mine, not item ...

I have this in a window to keep an eye on a motorcycle in my carport. It does great! but does pick up passing cars, wind blowing tree branches, etc. as well as the UPS guy so it's very sensitive. Because its in a window looking outside, the night vision is poor (reflection from glass I think). Its not a concern for me but something to think about when you place the camera. Overall, love it, would order again if I needed another area monitored. Oh, and sound is pretty clear, I can make out the words to songs on the radio I have playing.

AWESOME! But can only monitor using phone. No app for mac computer.

I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The picture quality is pretty decent and the night vision is great. I love the voice feedback as you go through the steps using the setup wizard on the app. Not to mention the voice had a very cute New Zealand accent. It took about 20 tries till it connected and I was just about to give up. As I was on the phone with tech support repeating the same sequence of steps for the 20th time, it suddenly worked. Hopefully it continues to work well. I will update my review if anything changes. -----Update----- I am thrilled with this device with one major exception. I cannot use my mac computer to view live feed. I looked for an app and found one on the developers website, but it does not work with the latest 2 versions of the Mac OS.

A great product for the price

I had first ordered one of these cameras to test it out in the living room, where it would be located near the wifi modem. It worked great right out of the box, and was easy to set up. I ended up ordering two more. I only wish that it could pan around the room, but considering the price I believe that I've gotten my money's worth. All three cameras work well and allow you to zoom in for a better look. I also like the audio feature. It seems to produce some background noise when that's on, but it's nothing major. One caveat; this will not work wherever the wifi signal is blocked (like through thick walls), so I couldn't use it on the porch, but it works everywhere else. If you're looking for a simple, easy to use device, this one is for you.

Great price for purchase

I bought the camera on Friday and it was delivered on Sunday. The camera works well and the image quality is beyond my expectation, for that price. The installation and setup is relatively straightforward and wont take long time. Now I have phone app which can monitor at anytime I want!

Baby/ security cam

We bought this to use eventually as a baby monitor camera, but we have it set up monitoring the front door for now. It's secured inside the house in a window sill (since it's not waterproof) but it does the job just fine. I like that it has great image quality even at night. We have it set up to send a notification for motion-detection and that's a nice feature too. It does trigger sometimes for shadows moving during sunset, but there are settings to help minimize this. The camera settings allow you to select what area of the frame you wish to have motion-detection on, and you can choose whether or not to get the notifications, whether they should be audible on the camera, whether or not to use the two-way speaker, etc. Right now we have the camera set up to transmit to two different phones with no problem. We can chose our settings differently if we'd like too. And there is a function to add more cameras, should we buy another, and I think we probably will since we're so happy with this one. Make sure you have it set on your 2.4 wifi since it won't run on 5g. I will say that finding some of the settings you wish to adjust can be a challenge. You have to click through a lot of menus to locate different functions and it's not very intuitive. But for the price, I would definitely recommend buying this model.

Great value for money!

Bought two cameras. Fixed one in the living room - due it's 135' coverage, we were able to cover the three entry points to the house. We also fixed the other camera to cover the backyard, but from indoors (as in the picture). I'm thinking on getting #3 and fixing it in the garage to cover the street side through the garage glass. So far very good. The setup was super easy and quick - after scanning the code. It has worked very well for the past 7d. Some of the instructions aren't very clear, but one could figure it out. We've shared the camera feed with everyone in the family and it works. I've also setup some IFTTT rules that turns off the living room camera when we're home and back on when we leave. Works like a charm. You could specify the alert times (as to when you want to be alerted on motion and when not) and also the alert areas. They're quite easy to set up. One caveat though. It doesn't store feed 24x7 (like Nest), but only when the motion occurs. Sometimes, when you change the position of the camera by disconnecting it from the power, it takes time to reconnect, but eventually does. In summary, pleased with the product and the experience so far. Great value for money.

Great camera

This is the best indoor security camera after purchasing many more expensive cameras on Amazon. Setup was easy using the menu wizard choices on both cellphone and computer. My 2G/5G 200Mbps router connected wirelessly to the camera (no Ethernet was needed). Customer service was excellent when my old 64GB SD card was not immediately detected by the camera. After resetting the camera and reinstalling the memory card, it was recognized by the camera later on. Maybe the SD card needed to be formatted. I received notifications on my phone and they are also recorded on the SD card without subscribing to the cloud. I also received messages that my recordings are stored on the cloud for seven days. The best part of the camera is that you can set all the alarm and motion detection functions to turn on and off using the sleep mode function. I turn it on when I am home and off when I leave home. I got this camera for safety and it works well after the first week of use.

Well worth the low price!

This is all I’d ever want in an indoor camera and more. I bought it so that we could check on our pets when we’re away for a weekend. The camera has pretty good picture quality; it’s wide-angle and captures and entire room. It comes with stickies for the wall, and it’s also magnetic if you’d rather stick it to something magnetized rather than a wall, or you can just prop it up on the stand it comes with. It’s cable is generously long, so it easily reaches an outlet. I didn’t know this before I set it up, but it also comes with two-way audio! You can hear what’s going on and you can also talk through the camera app to the room. The app was free and is easy to use! You can zoom in, sleep the camera when not in use, and a few other useful things. What was most important to me is it’s pretty much impossible for someone to hack in. They’d need your username, password, QR code, product ID, and one other key. Best cam for the price, hands down.
