I do love it, but

I do love it, but, it has not rained for a while and I have not had the chance to use it. However, my daughter has one, and used it for the previous rain, and I was there, and that' s why I bought this one. So far, so good. It opened and closed without any difficulty. I love the design in side, which of course shows outside when closed. I can't wait to use it. Thank you It still has not rained. But, I have opened and closed it about 3 times and so far it is great. I love the design inside and then fact that it stands up by itself. I think it is great.

This is a very cool umbrella. The reverse fold is great for getting in car doors in the rain and it has a dual layer design to help with wind. The handle design lets you put it on your wrist or side it on the edge of a table. It comes with a cover that has two straps but it seems rather thin and I worry about tearing it when putting the umbrella back into it. Overall very cool. I need another one.

So far so good

It's been a very long time since I bought a new umbrella, so going non-traditional seemed like a good choice. I've only used it about a dozen times so far, and I have to say I like it! I should point out however, to NOT let the umbrella sit upright for long after a heavy rain - I was in a confined space and didn't have time to dump the water out. The water will eventually seep down the handle and get you wet anyway, so just be sure to let it sit the correct way and dump out as much as you can.

Really great umbrella and looks awesome too

I have to admit, I wasn't a huge fan of the inverted umbrella style, and still don't see that it's really all that much better than the standard design, but I do admit I really like this umbrella. I couldn't decide on a design so just went with the simple orange, and it looks really good. The quality seems to be outstanding. The big handle grip is really easy to hold and comfortable with or without gloves. It keeps the rain off like it's supposed to, and as a bonus, it doesn't pull hair. My daughter likes to use it when we're at a game or something when it's raining and have to sit in the stands during the rain. She basically sits it on her head and tucks herself deep under it. The "old" style umbrellas with the exposed ribs would pull her hair sometimes. This one has that cool inner liner that covers those ribs, so it doesn't pull hair. She really likes it, and so do I. The price was reasonable too. I have some other umbrellas that have gotten older looking and dirty from years of use and abuse, so I may end up ordering a couple more.

Would make a great gift!

This is my second umbrella I’ve ordered front Sharpty. I’ve used the first one only once and my friend liked it so much I hav wit to her as a gift. It was the clear sky with white clouds design. So I’ve ordered another one myself. So far it’s been sturdy when it’s windy, and I love the rounded handle especially when I’m carrying groceries with me or while doing something on the phone and so both hands are busy, so I’ll just pass my arm through the handle the unbrella will be rested on my arm. Living in the city and always on the run, this helps! Every little thing that makes my life easier helps. I don’t drive but this is great when getting out of a car while it’s raining, I got my hair done the other day and it was raining soy new umbrella was perfect when getting out of the car the other day. Also I must add, this company have great customer service! But this umbrella, you won’t regret it!

Awesome!

So, I'm 33 and the fact that someone thought to redesign the classic umbrella to be more functional blew my mind. And I will say that the way this one looks when it's rolled up still seems odd to me, but my god, it's so functional! I live in Ohio, where spring is just a constant barrage of cold rain and wind. This umbrella is incredibly helpful for dealing with these conditions and I am so happy that I decided to buy it. It opens and closes easily, it's lightweight, and the design on the inside makes me hate everything just a little bit less. I paid $10 more for an umbrella that was rated well on Amazon that takes both hands and all my strength to close, so this one definitely wins.

Great Umbrella

Fun umbrella. I got the black with red flower design and it’s very pretty. I like the handled cover it comes with but it is a bit tricky to get the umbrella inside the cover. Holds up well to wind which was a concern of mine when looking at the design. It’s surprisingly light weight considering the size but due to design it doesn’t fold up and so it is quite tall. It would be problematic to carry without the handled cover when closed if you are short as you would have to actively hold it up to prevent dragging on the ground. I really like that there are no exposed metal parts, the spine of the umbrella is between the two layers of material which is delightful, I tend to get my hair caught in umbrellas a lot and that will never happen with this one. Also if I do break the spine there won’t be dangling metal parts swinging in my face as would be the case with a regular umbrella. All in all I like it, good item good price.

I am an excellent reviewer because I don't place a review until I have used the product for at least 3-6 months. This gives buyers a realistic review of what to expect with any product. I have used this umbrella and it works as advertised. It's design is great, easy to use and very easy to get in and out of a car. The quality is great. Only complaint is that it is a little heavier, but I attribute that to the fact that it is very durable and will not break or bend if it gets beaten up in your car like other cheap umbrellas.

These umbrellas are incredible. So easy to manage in a storm. I bought three. One for my granddaughter who has profound cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. The umbrella hangs on her wheelchair and is available for rain or too much sun. It is wonderful to find something especially for her. Another umbrella was given as a wedding shower present. I used the spokes to hang little gifts to create a real shower for the bride. The last umbrella was for me and I love it. It is so handy to hang on a shopping cart or just have over my arm. I have had people stop me on the street to ask about the beautiful umbrellas. Wonderful. Thank you so much. We are all thrilled.

Best Umbrella Ever!!

This is best umbrella ever. The most important one is to remember when I bring it into the car, that I can't turn it over (handle up) as I am used to doing. Other than that it is great. Easy when on a porch to turn it over and spin to get rid of excess water. Easy to stand up in a utility tub or bath tub to let it drain; you just have to remember to not dump it where you don't want to. I've used this in heavy rain with gusty winds and it holds up nicely (so far). I like the shape of the handle, very easy to carry it on my wrist when my hands are full. And it does perform just as described in regard to keeping things dry. Mine came with a nylon cover and I highly recommend that extra. The cover protects the printed side (which is on the outside when folded) and also compresses it into a more streamlined shape, and gives you a shoulder strap to keep it out of your way when you are not using it. This design really is one of those "why have we done it the other way all these years" kinds of things.
