Got these for my mother in law. She has too many pyrex containers with stretched out or broken lids. So instead of getting new containers, she can still use them, and now just uses these lids to keep them covered. different sizes are helpful. they have been very useful.

In an attempt to adopt more sustainable practices, I bought these lids to replace single-use storage bags and Saran-type wrap. For my usage, it would be better if the assortment included another larger cover and fewer smaller covers. The covers are very stretchy and initially seem difficult to apply. But, with practice, they become quite easy to use. I have used them with glass, stainless, and rigid plastic containers. I have put them through several dishwashing cycles, placing them across the drinking glasses, and they come out perfect. I have microwaved leftovers with the covers in place and this seems to have no effect on them. I haven't yet decided where to store them in my kitchen, but this is not a shortcoming of the product. That they allow me to reduce my use of single-use plastic is a very big advantage.

Not sure why reviewer said it didn’t work on rectangle storage containers. They work fine for me on all my containers and bowls. These are great and I am happy to toss all the old reusable plastic style covers that I had.
