Feels like "Glossy Paper," But Totally Works!
When it comes to learning, I'm an odd duck. I take notes because it helps me internalize, but I never go back to them. I also take delight in fresh, empty notebooks that I somehow pretend I'll keep organized with a beautiful note-taking system. Hah. Yeah, right. The end result? I (used to) buy a lot of notebooks and waste a lot of paper. The Notebook: This came in yesterday, and I've already taken five pages of notes! They wipe *completely* clean. I have no qualms about starting a new topic or writing about something completely new on a new page - I'm not wasting paper, and I'm not mixing up the contents of two spiral notebooks - it's all going to disappear anyway. You have no idea how satisfying I find a perpetually empty notebook. The cons - the plastic feels like *glossy* paper, not like notebook paper, which takes a minute to get used to. I keep expecting the ink to smear, but it doesn't. You should hold your pen very gently, and you need to exercise more control as you write because pens moves more freely than they would across paper. That said, it's light years ahead of dragging a stylus across glass. I'm gonna get one for my desk at work, where I compulsively scribble while I think and wastefully plow through legal pads. The App: The app scans, corrects for angles, and adds contrast to images, making them easy to view on your computer. I've only used the E-mail feature, which sends a PDF to the E-mail address you specify. The privacy policy mentions collecting "screens and pages you visit" In the service, but I did not see anything about collecting the notes you scan. I wasn't fond of the permissions the app required for Google Drive, which included viewing and managing files - I'm not sure if a more conservative "create files only" permission exists. So, I'll blast notes to my GMail account and use a single click on my computer to share them with Google Drive.

Exactly as Advertised: Reusable Notebook Converts Notes to Digital
I have used notebooks for 25 years as a tool for keeping track of notes for writing projects, family management, and everything in between. When my husband suggested I try the Rocketbook I was skeptical. I had tried to move to an entirely digital process after getting an iPad, but it didn't take because I still wanted to write on paper. I am now a convert to the Rockebook because I can write on its paper AND I can convert my notes into digital documents easily. My system is similar to the bullet journaling system and I was using a moleskin notebook and scanning pages into a note-keeping software system. (I was using Evernote; I now use OneNote.) I have created my own "templates" on the first 5 pages in the Rocketbook using a fine sharpie pen so I can wipe off and reuse pages that I have created for my purposes. The other pages I have left blank. I have used both the dotted grid pages and the lined pages with a slight preference for the lined pages -- though the dotted grids offer more "lines" to work with. I have altered my notebook by putting a folder in the back, adding a pen station, and affixing a 3-year calendar to the first page. I scan at least once a week to get my notes into the right OneNote notebooks and into my daily record. I like the Frixon pens; I prefer black and the .07 mm.

Life changing product!
This product has been a life changer for this teacher!!!! I use this for meetings that I don’t need to take my MacBook in. I then immediately upload into drive and erase! The pages wipe clean easily and you can’t even tell it was ever wrote on. It keeps all of my notes very organized and in one place. Plus I can share notes with my colleagues. Several of my colleagues have seen the notebook and now want one for themselves! Another thing I liked is the ease of uploading it. It literally takes less than a minute. The notebook itself is also sturdy so it doesn’t get damaged when stuffing it into my backpack or purse. I love this product and will be purchasing even more!

This has made my work life easier!
A friend of mine got one of these for his daughter so she could import art work into the cloud. I had never even heard of Rocketbook until then. But I checked into it a bit and decided it wasn't cost prohibitive to get one, the pen holder plus the package of colored Frixion pens I got. Cost me maybe $40 for the whole shebang. In any event, being able to set up destinations like Google Drive and (in my case) multiple OneNote project folders has made my carry-on baggage taken to meetings basically this notebook and the pens. I can take all the notes I want, and even send the scanned pages to multiple locations which is great! Then you just wipe the pages clean at day's end with a soft, wet cloth and you're all set for tomorrow. What get's uploaded to the cloud destinations are either JPEG or PDF files (you get to select), and there are numerous destinations you can set up -- up to 7 which are denoted by various symbols which you mark with an "X" to send a copy to that place. I just switched on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) capabilities and this allows me to double hashtag either side of a title to auto-rename the files uploaded to that name, for example. It also allows Smart Search which makes your document searchable, even if it still looks like a scanned page. Pretty slick really. Lastly, it can and does transcribe your hand written notes into email as well, which is also handy. When it does that, there is still a copy of the PDF or JPEG included as well. Overall, if you are a person who takes hand written meeting notes, and have various notebooks with discombobulated pages, and you need to get that properly organized -- this is the ticket right here. Aside from a laptop with OneNote available to type up notes as your mettings progress, this is the best thing for doing notes IMHO.

Easy and convenient to use
Love how easy it is to scan pages and have them go where I want them. Love that it is a combination of old school and new school when it comes to taking notes - I still get to jot things down like I'm used to doing (kinesthetic action helps me remember my notes better), but I also get the digitized version of my notes in seconds without having to type them myself. OCR capabilities would be awesome, but for now I can upload into my Google Drive account and open the file in a Google Document for fairly decent OCR results. The size is perfect for carrying around to meetings or with me on everyday activities. So far, it has been very durable, tossed into various bags. Snow melting in on one side while I was walking to work did smear words along the edges of a couple pages, but that was my fault for not keeping it covered properly. My cool factor has gone up at work, because I erased a page while waiting for a meeting to start and everyone was amazed. Many people decided they wanted one after that. :) My one complaint is more with the pens than with the notebook. I've tried 5 different Frixion pens (ball, point, clicker, capped, 0.5, 0.7) and none of them start writing off the bat. I always get 1 or 2 letters into the first word before the ink actually starts flowing. Once it is flowing, it is great. I think this is due to the ink drying on the pen tip rather than anything to do with the page. The drying might also be because I live in a very dry, desert-like environment. A little humidity might be in your favor with this one.

Does exactly what the video shows. Great.
Super cool. I love being able to take notes and send them directly to a destination. The app works great. Very easy to use mostly just need to push 2 or 3 buttons. Pens write well on the pages. Does take a while for the ink to dry. I have the med sized everlast notebook, it cleans off with water very easily and quickly. You to however have to wait for it to dry. Not a big deal unless you have a full notebook. I think that for someone who will use it to take notes then need to use it for a different purpose it may be less convenient. The wave version should make that much easier. Have showed off my new “toy” everyone thought it was do neat and useful. My aunt immediately ordered one for herself and recommended it to her boss for the company to purchase them for their team. Have had this ~ 1.5 months.

What kind of black magic is this?!
I am not sure what kind of sacrifice was required to the technology gods to manifest such wonder that the Rocketbook brings, but whatever the cost, was completely worth it. I was a little skeptical at first viewing of the true power that the Rocketbook harnessed. I laid awake countless nights asking myself, "How could a simple notebook such as this possess the ability to capture my handwriting and send it to my email so effortlessly?!?!" or "is this some kind of futuristic tablet technology sent back from a future version of myself to save myself countless hours of transitioning my thoughts to text?!?!" And at a measly $30 price point, is this a scam?!?! I would have easily paid $500-$1000 for this capability and not have to buy an iProduct with a fancy pen! This product has changed my life! I just want to thank whomever designed this or thank my future self for sending it back for us mere business professional mortals! No longer will we have to spend mindless hours making handwritten notes and then later spending even MORE time typing in these notes. You have changed the way I interact in meetings. I am now writing every so-so thought my boss has just to be able to use the app and convert them to text. The Rocketbook Everlast with the Rocketbook app make this dream, a reality. Thank you from the bottom of my soul. But in all seriousness, If you are someone who doesn't like to type your notes straight into Word or Onenote, this is the perfect product for you. Even with my consistently sloppy handwriting, the OCR software in the App does a pretty good job of picking it up. My only complaint would be that it doesn't format spacing. It will convert the text over into one big run-on sentence. Which isn't REALLY a problem as I just copy\paste it over into Word or Onenote and format as I see fit. But i highly recommend this product and look forward to using it every day!

Who knew I needed this??
I love my Rocketbook. I need to 'write' when taking notes, I find I remember the meeting content, my to due list etc., if I write it down. Typing on the laptop or tablet has not done it for me. I finally broke down and bought the Rocketbook for myself. I started using it in Jan 2019, it is now the end of April. I love it!! I use it for a week - sometimes 2 weeks, snap a pic of the content it saves and sends the file to my designated location. I then file all my notes by week in a file folder. I am saving trees and storage space in my office. Years of buying paper notebooks are now gone!! The Rocketbook wipes clean very easily and I love the FriXion pens. I have removed all other pens from my desk so I do not accidentally use the wrong pen on the Rocketbook. Great purchase.

Changed the Studying Game (for a Person with ADHD!)
To say I’m in love with the Rocketbook Everlast is a COMPLETE understatement. I finally have collected every size and love them dearly. I am an engineering student with ADHD so I can be a complete mess sometimes. At the beginning of this last year (my freshman year), I lost numerous important notes and papers. Not that the notes were useful because they were usually a complete mess, but it was still a big problem. That was until I decided to order a Rocketbook in October and my life changed. Not only is the Rocketbook super satisfying to take notes in (as you can see, my notes are very neat and legible now), but it keeps me and my ADHD brain organized. If I lose a sheet of notes, it’s no big deal because I can just print it off again! Not to mention it’s fabulous for working practice problems and taking notes before tests. I also now only have to carry around ONE notebook so my backpack went from 30 pounds to 5! I got all As both semesters and I credit it to the Rocketbook! I’ve been successful in converting many of my fellow students AND even teachers into using the Rocketbook. My Statics professor is actually going to buy a class set for students to use (because I would turn my homework in on it rather than engineering paper!) I just got the executive size to turn into a planner/bullet journal because I’m still kind of bad about writing my schedule down HAHA. I bought some vinyl sticker sheets online and cut it to the size of my notebook (I removed the spine and used an exacto knife for the holes). If you want something to change your life, BUY THE ROCKETBOOK!

Rocketbook is awesome!
I purchased the Rocketbook, Executive size with the usual dots on the "paper". The pen that came with it was less than adequate, so I purchased some other Pilot Frixion 0.7 pens, which worked great. I can now take notes on "paper", which I prefer since I am not an adept typist and don't want to carry my laptop around. I can scan the pages with my phone and put in the cloud. I have several cloud spaces/drives which I save to and the Rocketbook works great. I have two suggestions, although minor: 1) package a better pen with the Rocketbook, and 2) the optional cover is cheaply made and not worth it the money. It also forces you to use the string, which is quite unsightly. I used a nice leather cover that I had previously, which coincidentally was the perfect size. IN summary, I love my Rocketbook and don't know how I lived without it previously. It dazzles my fiends.
