Great for vintage glass collectors!
I bought this black light in order to test vintage glassware for uranium (Vaseline glass). It’s small enough to fit in my purse and works great to detect true Vaseline glass (as shown in the photos)! Haven’t had it long enough to test battery life but so far I’m very pleased with this light.

Works!
I got this to check out my blacklight poster before investing in lighting for my room. And mess around with checking for stains and to see what glows. It's fun, though I'm not sure how accurate it is to an "actual" blacklight I'd get for decoration, as it seems quite bright (not a bad thing ofc). I enjoyed shining it on different things to see what glowed and what didn't. Worth the money, if only to satiate my curiosity. I've wasted more money on less, so I have no complaints. It feels good in the hand as well.

Cures uv curable glue very fast. Love it!
Excellent light. I use this light to harden uv curable glue that I put on knots made in fishing line and to hold soft plastic baits on jig heads. When I splice a leader onto my main line, I like the splice to go thru the tip guide and others as smoothly as possible. A little glue over the splice makes it smoother and softer and allows it to go through the guides much easier. A little glue on a jig head holds a soft bait really nice and makes it last longer when the fish try to tear it up. UV curable glue stays wet until cured by uv light from the sun or a light like the one here. The light hardens uv curable glue in a our 15 seconds. The light bass a lot of output and it cures glue very fast. I like it a lot. :)

Works perfectly for high school forensic projects
I bought only one light at first to test its ability to perform for the forensic application of using florescent fingerprint powders on latent fingerprints. It works perfectly! I'm going to buy a class set of these for next semester. To outfit my entire classroom lab with these flashlights, and yellow safety lenses from another vendor on Amazon, will be cheaper than buying just one "forensic lighting device" from the über expensive forensic companies.

Dog Pee Detection
Used this to find dog accidents around the house and boy, was it enlightening (& horrifying). Also works for other body fluids, but not as well on white or light surfaces as dark ones (for white surfaces, you'd use other filters to clearly see the fluorescence). I actually bought it for work, to use as a $7 cheap version of aWood's lamp, but haven't gotten to try it for that yet. but was worth it for dog pee alone!

Nice little black light for use in the desert avoiding scorpions or finding them as you prefer.
I wanted this light for my backpack so I am disappointed that it is heavier than I expected. The description does include weight so I shouldn't grouse. It is small but provides good light and has a nice strap to attach to a hook so I can find it without rummaging around. This seems well made so I am giving it 5 stars even though I wanted it to weigh less.

Convenient and a a good value
I've been a cat slave for years. Living as a cat servant, one of the duties is to keep the rugs clean and this little flashlight makes this duty far less onerous. When one's overlords get into territorial marking, knowing where that is happening is crucial if one is to put a stop to what amounts to a cat pee death spiral. I used to use a pug in light for this that was awkward to use and bulky to store. Now I can just grab and go when I suspect a stinky event. Thanks!

I use this black light to cure resin for jewelry making
works well for small amounts of UV resin which I use in resin jewelry making, easy to hold

Curing Light
I thought this light was perfect for what I needed. I asked before I bought it if it would dry some glue that cures with us light and was told no because it’s not a curing light, well, they were wrong. It cures some glues. I use something called bondic. I think it’s a plastic resin. It dries it almost immediately. Aside from that, it’s a good black light, nice and bright.

Scorpion Finder
We just moved to the desert. Bought this to look for scorpion in our house when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. They creep me out. The light is REALLY bright. I just hope I never find one in the house!
