Easy to use, go start cooking!
I bought this mostly for my son, the chef. He loves to make wonderful things in the kitchen and this powder is a key ingredient in his amazing chocolate mousse. He pronounced it "excellent". And he made mousse, so I can't complain. I decided to be brave and use this to make an angel food cake - one of my favorites, especially as the fresh strawberries start appearing at the farmer's market. It was a breeze to use and made a light, fluffy cake, just as I hoped. Highly recommended. I will be buying more.

Wonderful set!
I have not had the chance to use the set yet, but I am impressed with the variety and love the storage case. Just wish the case held all of the product. But am very glad I made this purchase.

Doesn’t reek of sulphur like some brands
I got this specifically to make some really tough icing for a gingerbread house. It’s way better than using egg whites; egg white royal icing is certainly usable, if a tad yellowish; this results in a perfect snow-white icing that keeps much better. Bonus... it didn’t smell like sulfur like some other meringue powders or powdered egg whites I’ve used. Size is a tad small, but maybe that’s a good thing— I’ll use it all before it goes bad.

A friend suggested that I add this to my buttercream frosting by mixing a teaspoon in with the powdered sugar and whisk it around. And, it worked like a charm! You learn something new every day!!!

Ease of use and no cardboard taste
Easy to use and well worth the price! Royal icing for cookies- you can double this recipe- 2 cups of powdered sugar, 1 1/2 Tablespoons up to 2 (use a half a cup more of powdered sugar) if using 2 tablespoons, 4-5 tablespoons of water and a dap of gel coloring of your liking I usually add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla or almond or lemon extract which depends on the cookies I’m decorating. Cover with a damp paper towel if not using for two hours! Depending on the weather it takes about 1 to 2 hours to dry. Good luck everyone!! Don’t refrigerate the meringue powder!! Room temperature is ideal!!

Great product for royal icing!
Have used this product twice now for royal icing and both times I had perfect results. This meringue powder did an excellent job and I like the fact that it does not have a strong vanilla flavor so I can add my own flavorings. I will order this product again.

A Very Good Meringue
My daughter is the baker in the family. She baked cookies and used this for her icing. The icing turned out very good. It has a good "stiffness" to it, not "watery" and the taste is very good, in other words, you cannot tastes the "meringue" if that makes sense. I ordered this and it arrived within a couple of days, as well. I also chose this one b/c of other reviewers who commented positively about it, and that it did not taste/smell sulfur-like. I agree. Very happy with this.

Stiffness
