  • UPGRADE: We appreciate a lot of travelers giving us their use experience and notice that, although we have considered about material, color, and so on. But the size 16L could only meet the needs of a part of people. So, we added the 24L bag for more people’s adventure. Hope this is helpful.

I love this pack! I use it for my daily commute on public light rail because I don't want to carry my lunch or jacket or whatever in a hiking pack or a shopping bag. I got the 24 liter and it holds a lot! And if I'm only carrying stuff one-way, I can stuff it in its little stuff sac and hold it in my hand, or in a pocket even. I actually fit a big clunky pair of steel-toe work boots in it and still had room for my lunch! And being a total mountaineering gear junkie, I can say that this pack, for a very light weight pack, is very well constructed, and with good materials. All seams are taped, straps are well anchored in the seams, good stitching, nice zippers, and nice water-repellant Cordura rip-stop nylon. None of that cheapo paper "fabric" on this pack. It's a steal for $24! I got the dark gray, my wife got the dark teal, both look great!

I had little hope that this pack would last beyond the first day of a 10-day Florida theme park vacation. I was wrong!! Thus little trooper was overloaded daiky (including water bottles, food, clothing, and the pack-up pouch filled with quarters. FILLED with quarters.) Every single day it got jostled and flung around as if it were made of army-grade canvas. No stitches gave way, no rips and it still looks brand new. Easy to repack into the pouch and even though the shoulder straps are not padded, they weren't in the least uncomfortable, even during 16-hour days of weather, on a Pooh-sized person. I did place a washcloth around cold/wet water bottle to prevent dampness seeping into the pack itself and wore rain poncho during most (but not all) downpours. I couldn't be more pleased with its performance.

WOW!!! I know Cordura fabric for the first time. It is really different from cotton. I believe I don't have to buy another one for a long long time. High quality lightweight, collapsible into itself backpack. It fold up into its own pocket for storing in larger packs and great for a day-pack when hiking or backpacking.I so far love how lightweight it is and the folding aspect is fabulous! I wouldn't put too much weight in this because I don't think it is made for that, however, I think for everyday needs it will work out perfectly! While traveling in Mount Scott, we had an opportunity to hike to the Crater Lake. This pack had been a last minute addition to my suitcase and it was a perfect daypack for water, snacks, and clothing layers. Folks on the valley floor said they watched our progression by the high vis yellow. Really loved this so much!

I’ve been saying to my wife for 2 weeks traveling through Indonesia on what a great buy this was for a little day pack. Today it legitimately proved its awesomeness and durability. Visited the sacred monkey Forrest in Ubud, Bali and literally had a monkey try to tear it open with his razor sharp teeth 3 times and the little guy couldn’t even get a scratch in it. Don’t think about buying it, just do it! See photo for proof! Enjoy!

I love this pack. I had a Mission Peak Gear Fast2100 foldable pack that was great, and very inexpensive. I liked that pack a lot, but it was a little big at 30L, so I didn’t stow it in other larger bags and for a regular daypack it was not wonderful. I ended up giving that one to my dad, and buying am 18L Gregory for planned hikes near home. But I still had a gap for overnight backpacking trips where I typically make camp early afternoon and have time to explore my area before dinner. This 4monster fits that use case PERFECTLY. First off, it folds into a TINY stuff sack, and weighs barely anything. But then when deployed, it’s a great size to hold snacks, a puffy or rain jacket (or both), and a water bottle and Sawyer water filter system. I just returned from Aloha Lake in the Desolation Wilderness near Tahoe, and used it each day for hour or two quick pace hikes, and processing water to bring back to camp. The straps are thin but comfortable, as the material seems more durable than the price would suggest. I toss a seat pad (that I carry on backpacking trips anyway) halfway unfolded in the back of this little pack to give it some structure, but have used it without and it’s fine that way, too. I see these other folding daypack from brands like Matador and I laugh that anyone would pay that kind of money for those, when this little guy is such a steal. The couple of reviews that say it’s too small are clearly from people who don’t know backpacks because it clearly states its capacity in the description as well as dimensions, so I knew exactly whet I was getting. And it was exactly what I wanted. Definitely recommend this for anyone with backpacking or travel purposes where having a daypack at the ready would be useful.

Purchased the 16L size in A-Orange color and it is the perfect Camelbak MULE dupe. Of course because it is a packable backpack, the material is very thin. I try to be careful when rolling it back up because I feel like it will easily rip but as you can see in my picture, I took it on a hike and it held up very well! It can hold quite a bit of things without it looking too bulky. In the picture, it contained my wallet, sunglasses case, snacks, 32 oz Takeya water bottle, AND my UNIQLO Reversible Jacket. I love this packable backpack; highly recommend!

Great lightweight packable backpack! I wanted this for a small daypack that could easily be stowed away when not in use. When it arrived I loved how small it was all packed up. I unfolded it and became a little worried that it wasn't big enough for my needs, but I packed what I needed into it and it was perfect. I packed a small 10.5 inch laptop in a padded carrier, a rain jacket, a small umbrella I put in one of the mesh pockets, and a 28oz water bottle in the other mesh pocket. The material is quite durable, and I have been using this bag multiple times a week since I got it. It is a little see through, and very thin with no padding or structure to it. But I didn't need that. I would suggest using a padded case for a laptop or anything else fragile. The straps are not padded, although they feel like they are, they are a mesh material and very comfortable. I really like the color, it's just like the picture (dark grey).

Great deal for this little pack! Took it on a trip to Europe and it held up really well! Both the front pocket and main compartment stored a lot more than I anticipated. At its maximum capacity I managed to fit a microfiber towel, book, journal, med kit, water bottle, and puffy down sweater inside the main compartment while also having the front pocket filled with smaller accessories. I even wore this pack on multiple occasions with very heavy rain (to the point where my rain boots had puddles of water), and I was shocked to find out that very, very little water made its way into the pack. This is not to say that it is completely waterproof, but it sure is close. Also, the straps are pretty comfortable.

Nice size bag for daily use it is lightweight and holds what I need with extra room. I used it for Universal Studios and extra 3 day of travel and was nicer than dragging a purse around and held my money, cosmetics, comb, unbrella, medicine with enough space to put my smaller jacket in but it was rainy and colder so wore the jacket and put gift in the back. Did not weight much at all and easy to just stay on one shoulder to grab and go. This was the 16 I am thinking of getting the 24 for longer day trips . I did use it in the rain but never got drenched more of a sprinkle and in and out from under the umbrella and no issues leaking. I would recommend .

I was skeptical of the durability of this, but it holds up just fine as long as you keep it mind what it is constructed of. Dont go putting 30lbs in it, but it works great placed in my hunting pack for a final approach bag with kill kit, binos, lightweight hoody and a few other things. It compresses back to the tiny palm-size just as shown every time. It's not one of those items that comes packaged small but can never get back into the bag after opening. This has 2 compartments, where the Sea to Summit has 1. When compressed, this is just a bit larger than the Sea to Summit offering. I like this compared to the S2S for the extra compartment and the available charcoal color, which is less visible than the bright colors S2S offers.
