Same Yankee Candle More Stylish Container

I purchased this candle for giving to my daughter’s husband’s, aunt and uncle. I have always loved Yankee Candles. They are really worth it, because makes your candle experience, much higher. Because it is Christmas. I watched many commercials for this new style of Yankee Candles that has a lid that you place the candle on to elevate the candle away from the piece of furniture that it is on, plus it is very attractive. In the past, I liked the candles themselves, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the round base with the tight fitting round lid with a rubber ring. When you removed the top you had to put the top somewhere and when I saw this new style. I realized right away that this style was more elegant. When deciding what to give this couple, this candle was always in the back of my mind. I ordered it from Amazon. When the package arrived I looked at my daughter and said “How big IS this candle” because the box was so big! I quickly discovered that it was just an excellent packing of the candle to prevent breakage. Once the holidays are over I am going to get myself one, because this new style is the same quality Yankee Candle with a beautiful new shape and style. I recommend this very fully.

Beautiful Style Candle, With The Fabulous Yankee Candle Scent!

I LOVE Yankee Candles. They are high quality candles and the scent is beautiful. I absolutely love the new style of the candle, where you can take the lid and set the candle on top of the lid. Also if you move it, you won't scratch your furniture. I have it on the table next to my chair and just taking the lid off, you can really enjoy the scent and the style of the candle itself is better because unlike the round bottle Yankee Candles, you don't have to worry where to put the lid. I had purchased one of these as a Christmas gift, and bought a more springtime scent for the gift, so after my Christmas shopping was done I got the Frosted Fir scent for me. I was not disappointed. The scent is beautiful and natural, so I will be getting the Lilac scent to celebrate the arrival of Spring in a couple of weeks😊! If you have never had a Yankee Candle and love Candles, I recommend these very highly. Happy Spring (a bit early).

Fresh floral but never too strong!

I have been burning candles for years. I buy a variety of brands. I started using Bath and Body candles. Never again. This particular Yankee candle is the greatest candle I have ever had. We have had our home up for sale so people come by and take a look. Before anyone shows, we light one down stairs, one up in our large master and one in a guest room at the end of home (3000 sq ft). I could just lite 2 but the third one is a tiny one and just perfect for far end of house. Everyone that walks through comments on how heavenly the home smells. It is fresh, floral but not overly strong, very clean and throws the perfect amount and it remains after they are put out. The lids on the Dark Berry are awesome. I place it under before lighting and cap it off after. Highly recommend this PERFECT balanced candle. Never had a problem with wicks or shipping as some have mentioned. Mine came packed beautifully in thick bubble wrap and proper cardboard cut out base to stop from shifting in shipping.

Shore Breeze is a sure thing, Velvet Woods is next!!

I got this candle as a gift last year. Loved it so much, I bought it for myself (& I'm a frugal type of lady, wouldn't usually spend $30 on a dang candle {but this one was much cheaper due to the packing box being busted or something. Literally who cares??!}). Smells amazing, great throw, and such a lovely container!! I know some have had problems with the wicks not getting all the wax. I just scrape the corners a bit & that seems to fix it. Also, at the end when there's that little bit you ready can't use? Boil water and pour it on the glass. Let it cool, and the leftover wax will float to the top and harden. You can use it in a warmer, etc, and the glass container is so pretty you can use it for storage.

I think it burned 24 hours on its first burn, because I forgot about it; maybe the wax wend down about one-eighth of an inch? Pretty amazing! I don't know the total hours it is specified to burn, but it must be a long time - so that is a high value. Of course my room smelled incredible after that, in the basement office, and I haven't burned it since. Simply the best candles.

Huge fan of Yankee Candle

I grew up in the same area where Yankee Candle facilities are. I have a Yankee Candle collection problem! I love so many of their scents especially the fall ones. I don't live up there anymore and where I live there are no seasons (Florida) but burn one of their candles and it transports me to autumn in New England. My daughter and I burn their fall candles from September through Thanksgiving to give us that back home feeling.

Beautiful scent and look

Love: the scent of this. It is one my whole family enjoys. Scent makes the house smell like someone is cooking a light Berry jam in kitchen. Great throw. In a first floor of over 2000 sq ft , two candles scent everything substantially. The color and jar are attractive as well. So pretty when it burns. Sorta a pain tho is how this two wick still tunnels. The square shape causes wax to pool away from corners. So I must push wax down after burning to stop it from tunneling badly. This does help a lot. So anyone who experiences this, go ahead and push wax down in corners toward middle when wax is soft. It prevents severe or moderate tunneling.

Great Candle.

I like Yankee candles and more than the scent, the glass it is in is nice and thick. I feel safe with a thicker glassed candle. Candles have to be safe as well as smell nice to me. Rather have a mild scented candle in thick glass than a stronger scent in chintzy thin glass. Very squeamish about fires starting. YANKEE gives you both--great scent and nice thick glass. Would definitely give as a gift to candle lovers like me. I was also concerned about whether it would break in shipping but it was packaged well.

Velvet Woods is amazing

Came well packaged. Excellent scent, throw, and burn. Reminds me a lot of my favorite Bath & Body Works [older, discontinued] Wine Cellar fragrance. This is a fabulous replacement. The lid is not a good base, but, not a deal-breaker.

The BEST candle ever!!!!!

I could smell the amazingness through the package it smelled so good!!!!! Glass was intact and the wax was not melted. I was worried since it's so hot out! I've bought this candle before and they last forever. Not to mention they smell amazing and it doesn't give me a migraine or mess with my sinuses.
