Great mask!

This is by far the best sleep mask I've used. I love the fact that the strap is adjustable AND elastic. My last sleep mask had a velcro strap that of course eventually lost it's closure ability. The Mavogel sleep mask also has the adjustable area for above your nose, which inadvertently keeps the mask in place better for side sleepers. Usually if I wore my old mask for more than a quick nap it would end up halfway around my head by the time I woke up! The Mavogel Sleep Mask is a great purchase for comfort and quality.

Dark, comfortable, stays put all night

I use a sleep mask every night because I need total darkness to sleep soundly. So when I got a chance to try out this one free for my opinion, I was all for it. I was a bit worried when I got it because it looked like it would be too warm and only had one strap. First night it slipped off my head, then I tried putting the strap under my hair. Voila! Perfect. It's comfortable, stays put all night and is surprisingly cool and breathable. And thanks to the clever little wire across the nose, it's perfectly dark. I'm loving it!

Soft, washable - won’t crush your lashes

I ordered this mask because I like to travel and while I can almost never sleep on a plane, I have a 14 hour overnight flight coming up so I thought I’d try a different kind of mask. I was pleased that in my area (Atlanta) the mask came in one day and was delivered on a Sunday! The mask is so soft and comfortable. Other more rigid masks hit me “right in the eyelashes”, making them uncomfortable to wear. This one is really soft and flexible - I am sure I won’t have this problem. The wire in the nosepiece fabric is bendable so it really fits to my face and blocks out light. I love that it’s washable. Another big bonus is the little carrying pouch with caribeaner. Unexpected, and I’ll never lose this mask if I avail myself of its little storage system!

Soft like a t-shirt sleep mask

Soft cotton sleep mask feels good against your face and does a good job of blocking out light. The nose piece has a pliable metal piece inside the edge of the nose piece for added support. Even comes with a little travel pouch! Very functional - for me, it seemed a little big but does the job! And, super soft cotton vs synthetic was a plus! It has an adjustable, elastic strap to hold it in place. Good quality mask! My only negative was that the nose part didnt seem to allow the mask to totally lay flat against my cheeks - but thats probably my "big" nose vs the mask's fault. 😉 Someone asked about face marks - given its on your face, yes, if you sleep on your side or face down, you may get some light marks, just like your pillow case or blanket leaves if you sleep on them. But, material is soft so its not scratchy, etc so this wasnt an issue for me

A Mask for Side Sleepers.

I had been using the Drift to Sleep mask. It's a good mask with that "3D" structure which just means it bulges out over your eyes so they don't feel any mask pressure. Trouble with the Drift to Sleep is that I'm a side sleeper. Side sleeping causes the 3D masks to bend just enough to allow light in around the bridge of your nose. This Cotton mask, though, is soft and floppy so it does not bend when you side sleep. On top of that, they've sewn in a stiff but flexible wire where the mask contacts the bridge of your nose. As long as you gently squeeze form that wire into place across your nose (sometimes after your head hits the pillow) no light will get through. You will experience total blackness or something very, very close to it. My eyelashes do contact the inside of the mask. But as long as I'm not blinking while wearing the mask (and I'm not) it is barely noticeable. One other important feature of this mask is the adjustable strap. It really works and it is does not use Velcro. I've used the mask everyday for about 6 weeks. And I've traveled with it. It still looks and works great. It should last for a long time. The mask does come with a case. I don't like the case because it's to small for the mask unless you really fold it small.

Pure Bliss :)

Hands down to the best eye mask in the market! It is so soft that gives a luxury feel. The mask does feel comfortable and smooth against your skin and hair, resulting in no tugging of the hair on my head or breaking of my eyelashes. The band adjustment feature is nice to have. I could adjust it as per my comfort. I bought the gray color which blocks out as much light as a darker color (black) one would have. The other great feature is loop adjustment on the nose to provide complete light blockage. I definitely recommend it to others :)

Magic in a mask!

I’ve tried so many different sleep masks trying to find “THE ONE”, and this, my friends, is it. The things that make this different: 1. The nose piece is adjustable, kind of like the brim of a ball cap. Once you get it fitted to your liking, the light stays out and the mask doesn’t shift! 2. The cotton is super soft jersey, and makes for a really nice experience. 3. Side wings where the adjustable band attach ensure even pressure is distributed across your mask, not just on your eyes. The band is slightly textured, and does not allow for slipping of the plastic adjuster piece. The price point was more than I’d normally spend, but now I get it! This thing is great, and even helps when I have really bad sinus headaches. Definitely will be buying again.

It really keeps out light and helps with sleeping in bright areas.

This is probably not the eye mask I would have bought because the price point is a bit higher than I would want but decided to give it a chance because of the reviews. I must say that it's really the best eye mask I've ever used tho. Most eye masks are flimsy and doesn't really keep out light. Not this one! Because this eye mask is padded, light really does not get through at all. The adjustable nose bridge also helps in making it comfotable to wear. The best part is for me is that IT DOES NOT MOVE through the night! Other eye masks I've used have always slid off my head sometime during my sleep. I usually even put the band under my hair, by the nape of my neck, just to try and get the sleep mask band to stay put while I'm sleeping. It's never worked, I always wake up with other sleep masks long gone and light streaming through the windows waking me up. This is the first sleep mask I've used that I just put the band behind my head and it's stayed on! I was actually a bit worried the first time I used it and had the band too tight--my eyes felt flat the next day. I loosened the adjustable band to make it more comfortable and it still stayed on. I also liked that the material that touches the eyes is like a very soft t-shirt fabric, it's very comfortable to wear and does not scratch or irritate my skin. Shipping was fast as well. It came well packaged and the mask had a carrying case for travel (which was a nice surprise). All in all very happy with my purchase.

Best sleep mask I've ever used!

I really like this sleep mask. I was skeptical at first...I mean, how different can a sleep mask be? Well, as it turns out, VERY different. I chose the black color, thinking it would make a difference and keep out more light than the lighter gray. After receiving it, I'm pretty confident that, due to the way the mask is constructed, it wouldn't matter which color you choose. No light is getting through this mask. The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the box was how amazingly soft it was. I mean, did you ever touch something so soft you immediately want to rub it on your cheek? Yeah. And that's exactly what I did. The next thing I noticed was the little cotton storage bag, complete with carabiner. It can be hooked right on to your luggage, grabbed quickly, and you can be sound asleep before the Captain turns on the "No Smoking" sign. The additions of extra fabric over the nose and at the sides are especially nice, because they block out light creep in those areas that most other masks miss. It's made of cotton, and the inside layer that touches your face is brushed with a flannel-like feel. It's also got a layer of foam padding which helps to completely obscure light, though I suspect it may be the source of the faint odor I detect. It will probably wash out easily. There is a small, easily bendable wire in the nose cover panel, and the head strap adjusts by about six inches, allowing for a perfect, customized fit. Instructions are to hand wash and drip-dry only, but it probably won't need frequent laundering. In summary, the Mavogel sleep mask is superior in every way to any other I've ever tried (and I've tried several).

Quality and comfort

This mask is lightweight and not bulky, and it really does a good job of keeping the light out! It did take a few tries for me to figure out the best way to bend the nose bridge, but once you get it in the right place it blocks out 99-100% of the light. The previous mask I owned was molded, and the benefit to that was that my eyelashes did not brush against the inside of the mask while I had it on. I do have that issue with this mask, but it is a minor issue since really my eyes will be closed when wearing this. With the use of the adjustable strap, I can make it comfortable to the point it does not put pressure on my eyes at all. As other reviews have stated, it does come with a small travel case/pouch, but I don't see myself using it. To really get the mask into it I'd have to fold it a lot, which would undo all my hard work on getting the bendable nose bridge just right. I will likely just fold the mask in half when packing it for trips. If you're looking for something lightweight that works, I recommend this product!
