Ok, there are a gazillion of these on Amazon. how to decide ... hmmm. almost all of them have a few "this is the bomb" and almost all of them have complaints that are so silly, they are comical. Many had legitimate complains, concerns and legitimate likes. Here is how I decided on this one. it is not the prettiest. not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. what turned my head was the reviews. many had reviews that it does this and that, blah, blah and blah. The reviews for this one? it had the usual quagmire of the good, the bad and the ugly, but … almost 80% said somewhere in the review that "This thing keeps my coffee or tea hot!" that's right ... it keeps it hot!. that's what I was looking for. A lot of conciseness that this does what it says … keep my stuff HOT! This one does not auto turn off! OMG! how will I get by ... I KNOW ... I will hit the little button and MANUALLY (soooo 19th century) turn it off. what a concept! WORTH IT!! GET IT? GOT IT? GOOD!

Keeps my tea warm to the last drop

I have an older mug warmer that my wife bought at Brookstone (pictured on the left in the photos). It has worked well for many years, but it is no longer being sold. So, I picked up this VOBAGA one for my desk at work. Before bringing it in to the office I did some side-by-side testing and measurements with my old reliable one. As you can see in the photo, the VOBAGA warmer gets hotter than the Brookstone warmer when they are both on their highest setting, although the heat is less evenly distributed on the VOBAGA warmer than on the older warmer. When my mug was down to about ¼ full and the warmer was still on "high" setting, the remaining tea was still around 170º (I like it hot). This was with a typical ceramic mug with a slightly concave base. If you were using a completely flat-bottom mug you would see even better performance. I also like the look of the warmer. It has clean lines and a nice compact package. The touch-sensitive buttons work well and the hot plate is large enough for any normal-sized mug. I can't yet speak to reliability, but as far as performance and form factor goes, I'm giving this a thumbs up.

Best coffee warmer I've bought

I had gone through 2 other coffee warmers in a month before I bought this one with high dissatisfaction with both of them which warranted returning them- the Mr. Coffee and Bellemain warmers- both of which got raving reviews on amazon, but that I found barely kept coffee warm for 30 minutes. So I decided to splurge on this more expensive one, and BEST DECISION EVER!!!! Not only does it keep your coffee warm, it keeps it HOT on the highest setting, something neither of the other 2 even got close to doing. Sure the beeping is a bit annoying, but it does an excellent job at keeping your coffee hot for as long as you want, PLUS it is super easy to turn on and off, and when you do turn it off it displays the lowest hot setting light to show you the plate is still hot so no unsuspecting burns. If you like warm/hot coffee, in my opinion this is hands down the best option on the market. Update: It even heats up coffee from being room temp if put on high and left for about an hour. Loving it.

Great Coffee Warmer

I researched so many coffee warmers and am so glad I decided on this one. It definitely keeps my coffee hot, no matter how long it takes me to drink it. I also like that it has three settings. As you drink down your coffee, you can lower the heat because it keeps the coffee very hot. I like it so much I ordered a second one for another part of the house. The only thing I wish is that it had an auto shut off feature. But, at least the lights you see when it is turned on are bright and easily visible.

Fantastic Product - If Used Right - Read on

I'm going to skip the part of how nice this item is to have. There are more than enough reviews that attest to that. This device will do its job, and do it very well. Just keep the following things in mind: 1. This is NOT a hot plate. If your coffee is cold when you use this, it will be lukewarm at best. It simply helps to maintain the beverage's temperature. BIG difference. 2. Watch out for those Buttons - They are 'touch-enabled,' so if you are not careful, you may graze your fingers over it and inadvertently either turn it on or turn it off. The former is the bigger problem because there IS NO AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF. You don't want to leave it unattended and left on. 3. No Beeps - Despite other reviews, mine does not beep when you touch any buttons, so I don't know if the later ones had this beeper thing removed. In any case, I don't have them. 4. IF YOU USE CREAM IN YOUR COFFEE - By all means, by a set of those stupid-looking, but absolutely essential rubber coffee mug covers [they look like umbrella tops]. If you don't and leave your cup unattended on the warmer, the cream will congeal and the coffee and mug will be gross in no time flat. Those covers keep the moisture in, as well as assist in keeping the coffee warm. You'll get some condensation drips each time you remove them, but a small price to pay. 5. I find it better to use the highest setting when the cup is full, and then work your way down as you consume your beverage. Else, you will go from a nice warm cup of coffee to a scalding one in no time. Hope all this helps. Buy this - you won't be disappointed.

Finally, a cup warmer that stays HOT! I’ve tried three other products and they were all a disappointment. This one is great. I appreciate that it Doesn’t have an auto shutoff. It also has an audible signal when you turn it on and off and lights to let you know how hot the base is. To protect my furniture I put it on a bamboo cutting board. It does get warm underneath.

Handy little gadget if you like to savor your hot drink!

My tea no longer gets cold! Love this little warmer. It’s just as expected and keeps my tea hot as long as its on so I can sip and enjoy for a long while. I would suggest that if your cup gets down to half, turn the heat setting to medium as liquid can get pretty hot when it’s a small amount on high setting. I read complains about the beeping sound, but honestly think the dryer buzzer is much worse... not an issue for me. I really like that the on/off switch is easily accessible right on the front.

Very Satisfied

I ordered this cup warmer to replace an old one I had at work. I wanted a black one, but I didn't want the kind that automatically turns on and off. I also wanted it to have a simple design. I've been using this one for about a week now, and I am very pleased. The beeps that others refer to honestly don't bother me. I turn it on and then turn it up to the highest temperature setting, so I get four beeps right at the start, but then nothing more until I turn it off hours later. Also, I was concerned about the writing that appears on the warming plate. It looks very bright in the photos, and I was afraid it would detract from the simple look I wanted. It's very subtle, though, and isn't bright at all.

Keeps coffee HOT!

I have used several types of coffee warmers and this is as good as another brand, ( so sorry, I forgot the name!) that isn't available any longer. I was beginning to lose hope that I'd ever find another that really kept the coffee hot. I like HOT coffee! This warmer is awesome and I can only hope it lasts! Been using for a month now and so far, so good! Who cares about the loud beeps? Yeah, they're unnecessary but it keeps coffee HOT! Yay!

LOVE this!

I recently moved my home office and threw out my old cup warmer. Needed a new one despite the fact that I am now down the hall from a microwave. I started my research on a new cup warmer. I did not know that there were so many other there! one thing I noticed in the descriptions was that temp that the warmer attained. This is one of the few that reached the highest temp I saw listed that was also reasonably priced. This thing is awesome. It will not disappoint. buy it!
