Just great!

I bought another kind of glass weights first (they cost less), but longish handle going all the way across the weight is not tall enough and sometimes slides out my hands when wet, so I ordered these next. Knob handles work much better, for $17.99 these 6 weights are just perfect. I also love the packaging, each glass has its own little bubble baggy.

Finaly weights that actually work

Tried them all...many glass weights out there, some better, some worse...I love these the best and here is why... * the nob on top actually works...you can grab it and lift the weight from your ferment... * the weights are solid glass full thickness...no well or indentation on top to collect the liquid... * heavy enough to keep everything submerged... Will be ordering another set soon...and the packaging makes it easy to store them while not in use...enough said

Great product and outstanding service

The weights are excellent and I liked them immediately when I received them. What made my experience with the purchase even better was when I contacted the seller about the chipped handle of one of the weights - they promptly replied and sent me a replacement as well as two fermentation lids, which are also great product that I have bought for a third time recently. In addition, I think the 6-pack is the best for its combination of quality and price for similar products.

These weights have a nice handle so they're easy to put in and remove, and easy to clean. Delivery was prompt, packaging was good, no breakage, I might need to buy another box as I'm having lots of fun trying new fermenting recipes...

High quality

Solid glass weights that are great for fermenting sauerkraut, pickles, etc. Very easy to clean and sanitize for future use. Smooth glass with no seams to catch bacteria.

Handle

This is the second type of glass weight that I am using and it is by far the best! the reason that I say this is because of handle. You can try to lift the glass weights with finger grooves but you will quickly realize this product with a handle is the one you should have bought.

Excellent Customer Service

I read many reviews and looked at many pictures before I ordered these. My purchasing decision was made on the little handle, and though it takes a bit of space so that I am not able to pack the jar as tight, but as I am using fermentation lids I wanted a little room for expansion. When I received my order one of the weights had a defect on the bottom that could have potentially captured a little air. I reached out to Eden Farmhouse and within hours I had a response and in days I had a replacement for the defective weight. The customer service was top notch and I was impressed with their dedication to customer satisfaction.

Buy six, it’s a big saving over buying three.

These weights are wonderful, keep everything under the brine. The little knob is ideal when the fermenting is done and you are ready to remove the weight, easy to grab and pull out of the jar. Could not be more satisfied with this product.

Easy to get out of the jar!

I used this weight on top of a whole cabbage leaf to hold down the sauerkraut batch in a wide mouth canning jar. It is the best solution I have come across...ever!
