Super easy to clean too
So we are a Contigo family, but they don't sell tumblers with the flip top/straw combo and I really wanted one to use for hot coffee (tumbler top) or cold drinks (straw ). We have yet to find another brand who can keep our drinks as hot/cold for as long as Contigo until now!!! This cup is a close 2nd. Our Contigo still kicks it's butt at longevity and spill-proof technology, but for day-to-day, this is my new Go-to cup. I put ice water in my cup at 8pm at night, and it was still cold by 12pm the following day! 16 hours. The ice had already melted, but it was still just as cold. With our Contigo, after 16 hours, there would still be ice in the cup. We've managed to get 24 hours of cold water in our Contigo, and we live in Florida. But honestly, who doesn't finish a drink after 16 hours? So really, we don't need our drinks to go that long. We will still be Contigo fans for it's spill-proof design when we are out and about, but for the office or day in, this is it! Super easy to clean too. Contigo tops are a bit hard to clean.

Better than a Hydro Flask
I bought the black 32oz with the hot/cold lid. It looks sleek and fits in my cup holders, no problem. To test the water bottle, I filled it all the way with ice Wednesday night at 6pm. By the next morning, it had about a sip of water in it, which means the ice hardly melted. That day (Thursday), I filled it with water 1.5 times. Still had ice. Friday morning, it was still about 1/3 full of ice. I filled it up again. By midday Saturday, about 65 hours after I originally filled it with just ice, I still had about a golf-ball sized ice bunch left. The entire time I left the lid open (to allow for the straw), which I thought would make the ice melt faster. Amazing water bottle. Would recommend to anyone! I have not dropped it yet, so I cannot speak for its durability. Everything else so far is perfect

You should definitely buy this tumbler.
This is my second tumbler from Simply Modern. They're great! No matter how monstrous your tumbler, it'll fit in your vehicle's cup holder (I have the heinously large one and also the 32oz). Here's why I like these guys so much: They keep your beverage COLD. I'm the type of drinker-of-liquids who wants her cup to be at least 50% ice, so this feature really tickles my pickle. It was roughly 3x hotter than the sun the other day and I left my ice-filled tumbler in my car for 8 hours (all black leather interior, notably). When I returned, my vehicle was hotter than Hades, but there was zero shrinkage of ice. For emphasis, no detectable melting whatsoever. I love that. Also, this might not be your first priority, but it certainly registers on my list - these tumblers are cute, y'all. I know "tumbler" and "sophistication" don't exactly go hand in hand, but I feel like a fancy human being when I stroll into work carrying my carrara marble water mug. Trust me, you'll feel compelled to lift your pinky. I love the myriad color/pattern alternatives. Definitely injects some personality into your hydration efforts. These tumblers are really well priced. Honestly, these perform so well in the "keeping your drank cold" department that I would never consider buying the higher priced, better known temperature controlled beverage competitors (*cough* Yeti. *cough* Tervis.). Just no. This is all I need. Oh! Here's an "at your own risk" anecdote, but my sister-in-law bought one of these at my recommendation. The instructions specifically say not to put these badboys in the dishwasher, but she does it routinely. No ill-effects thus far. That said, I believe in TLC so I only hand wash mine - super easy to clean. Not a big deal. Anyway, let me reiterate - these tumblers are great and you should get one.

Cruiser Over Slim Cruiser
Application: Diet Coke, the colder the better! Products Reviewed: Simple Modern Cruiser vs. Slim Cruiser Insulation: Unquestionably amazing! First, charge them as recommended (Ice & Cold Water for 5 min. before filling). Then, load with about 1/4 C Ice + the rest with Diet Coke. Leave at room temperature. The next morning, still ice cold and nearly all the ice remains!! Appearance: Beautiful. Colors are absolutely uniform and opaque, very rich. Stainless accent rings are flawless; edge of Powder Coating is perfectly straight and razor sharp. Stainless Steel is think enough to dent easily; Slim Cruiser arrived with a small dent. Handling: Powder Coating is matte finish but still pretty slick. Diameter is difficult for average hand to get a comfortable grip. Accessory handle recommended. Cruiser is easier to grasp because of the sharp break halfway up. Slim Cruiser coating is particularly vulnerable at the base (Cruiser has Stainless bottom). Powder Coating: Beautiful finish but easily chipped if dropped on pavement. Disappointing for a Powder Coat finish. So, Slim Cruiser loses because it's more difficult to grip and due to the absence of a Stainless base. But both are great Tumblers!

I LOVE THIS CUP! ***updated
UPDATE: STILL LOVING THIS CUP. Okay so 100% true story. I went out with a friend one day and I had this filled with just water. No ice, just cold water. It was at least 90 degrees out that day. I forgot this cup in the car and I wasn't parked under the shade. Yeah I was pissed. So we get back to the car about 3 hours later (I promise this is true) and I'm thinking "this is about to feel like I'm drinking boiling water". I PROMISE YOU, the water in here was still out of the fridge cold! I've never chugged water so fast in my life! I will scream this from the rooftops GET THIS CUP! I'm actually getting one for my aunt for her birthday. She's gonna looooove me. Okay I've only had this cup for 2 days but I AM IN LOVE! I had ice in this thing OVER NIGHT! And no, not even in the fridge. Thing was just sitting on my bed side table...yes I am one of those people that wake up randomly at 4am and chug water. And it is beautiful, fits wonderfully in my car and so far the seal works. Hopefully, it doesn't stop for me like it has for others. Love my new cup and will probably get another in a different colour.

Stays cold for hours!
I have two of these! One for the office and one for home. I absolutely love them. I got the 30 oz SLM version of each in the green/black and the purple/black. I use it solely for water, so I have no comments on hot beverages, but it keeps my water cold for hours! I left it in the car on a hot day a few weeks ago accidentally. When I came back to my car it was still cold. It comes with two straws which are a plus because I hate drinking water without a straw. Weird quirk, but nonetheless true. The only downside is the hole is rather large and since my straw is constantly in the cup I cannot close topper. Not the biggest deal as it's meant for hot and cold beverages. I only notice an issue if I knock it over in which case water gets everywhere! The cup is also super durable. I've dropped it on numerous occasions and it hasn't impacted it. No scratches, dents or cracks have occurred. If you're looking for a nice looking, sturdy, large and keeps stuff cold - just buy it. It'll be worth it.

I really like this product
This is a great product! I like that it is metal, so it won’t break easily. I have bought many Starbucks plastic cups and either the cups break easily or the lids break easily. I went to replace my Starbucks cup that most recently broke. Starbucks doesn’t sell the trente oz size in metal and I began looking elsewhere. I liked this one because it was metal and because it looked durable. I also liked it because it came with a straw. The straw seems a bit flimsy, but that’s okay because it comes with two. Even if both break, the straw hole is wide enough that most store bought straws replacement would probably fit. The lid seems durable, too (I haven’t had to test this yet). You can buy replacement lids designed for the cup. This was another reason I bought this cup. I also liked the marble print. Oh! I went to bed and when I woke up in the morning my water was still cool. It definitely met more than met my expectations in that respect.

Having trouble closing the lid? Not anymore!
I'm used to Yeti and RTIC lids so, initially, I had trouble removing the lid and the rubber gasket inside appeared to be mashed in places. Trying to push the lid back on seemed impossible as the lid kept popping back up (as seen on some comments). I thought I would have to return the tumbler or buy a new lid. Thankfully, it was a simple matter to resolve. The lid actually creates a true airtight seal when placed back onto the tumbler. You have to open the latch on the lid to allow the compressed air to escape when setting the lid, then the lid will sit flush with the tumbler without fighting the air inside. Likewise, opening the latch before removing the lid will keep from mashing the rubber gasket to bits from compression. Works great!

Keeps water cold for SUCH a long time, despite hole for straw
Loving this cup. I have had a Hydroflask brand bottle for years and needed a change up. I bought this 32 oz slim for the price, great reviews, the dark turquoise color, and the slim bottom so I didn't have trouble fitting it in cup holders. It met all of my expectations, and exceeded expectations in how long it can hold ice water. I would say it holds it for a good 24 hours if not longer. I have taken it to the lake on a hot/warm day and left it in the car, and when I get back to my car there is still ice in it and the water is way cold still. I have had this cup for a couple months, and my only gripe is the rubber ring that hold the lid on. That rubber ring moves every time you take the lid off to refill it, sometimes making the lid a workout to take off. My husband refuses to open it to refill it bc he has the patience of a toddler and gives objects that can't think 3 chances to comply with his demands before be breaks it to MAKE it comply. Other than that I'm still in love with it.

Beautiful Color, cold water all day, and leak proof!
I love this tumbler so far. I have only used it one day. I am a teacher and needed something easier to drink out of while teaching. It definitely keeps water cold all day. My ice didn’t last as long as I hoped but I didn’t have a lot in there and water temp from the fountains is room temperature so that likely melted my ice. I really like that it is actually sweat proof. A little awkward to carry between classrooms but the fact that I drink so much more water now makes up for it. I purchased bent stainless steel straws to use with it instead because I like them better. So not sure how the straws that come with this work out. I only got this to use purely for water so I do not know about retaining heat. Overall great color, cold water all day, and leak proof! One thing that is tough but I totally understand is part of the point of cold and leak proof is that the lid is sooo stinkin hard to get off! But that just means the vacuum seal is just that good.
